Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a program, a method for controlling an information processing device, and an information processing device.
In recent years, with the advent of large printers that use roll paper, there are increasing opportunities to create multiple works by printing multiple images side by side on large sheets of paper and then cutting them. When cutting is performed after printing, an additional image (for example, a registration mark) may be added to each image and printed to serve as a guide for the cutting position. Conventionally, when setting an additional image, if the additional image protrudes outside the print area, which is an area that is not printed, a method is known in which the additional image is reliably printed by changing the position of the image (Patent Document 1).
However, in the method described in
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above-mentioned problems, it is an object of the present invention to improve convenience for users regarding printing of additional images added to images.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the program of the present invention:
The program of the present invention makes it possible to improve the user's convenience regarding printing of additional images added to images.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

また、XPS(XML Paper Specification)やEMF(Enhanced Metafile)のようなベクターフォーマットでも良い。

The registration

The

Next, a process flow when the registration mark print setting 309 is changed to on (present) in the
First, in S901, the
In S902, the
In S903, the

In S906, the
(Example of shift processing)
As an example, FIG. 5 shows the result of applying the shift process of S906 to the layout of FIG. 4. In FIG. 4, the registration mark printing areas of the "1" and "2" images extend into the non-printing area, so the
In addition, in order to print without missing the registration mark printing area, another method is to move only the "1" and "2" images that protrude into the non-printing area into the printing area. , the image layout intentionally arranged by the user as shown in FIG. 6 is disrupted. In this case, when the user cuts the paper after printing, events such as an increase in the number of cuts may occur.
Also, even if you take measures to prevent the loss of the registration mark printing area by forcing automatic alignment, the layout will be different from the user's layout as shown in Figure 7, and the number of cuts may increase, or the images you want to group together may be separated. There is a risk that events such as storage may occur. In addition, the
As for the image shift amount, for example, the
(Method for determining whether shift is possible)
Here, a method for determining in S905 whether or not the shift processing in S906 can be performed will be explained. First, if any registration mark printing area covers three or more of the top, left, bottom, and right ends of the non-printing areas, it is determined that shifting is not possible because no avoidance measures can be taken by shifting. Next, each registration mark printing area when the
Next, in S907, the
Alternatively, an embodiment may be adopted in which the arrangement of images is automatically changed as shown in FIGS. 8(c), (d), and (e) without displaying a warning.
FIG. 8(c) shows a case in which automatic arrangement is forcibly performed in consideration of the registration mark printing area.
Figure 8(d) shows a case where, when there is a sufficient gap between each image, the registration mark print area is kept within the print area while maintaining the image layout as much as possible by reducing the gap between each image at a certain rate. It shows.
FIG. 8(e) shows a case in which only the image that has protruded into the non-print area in the process of FIG. 8(b) is moved into the print area.
According to these embodiments, even if shift processing is not possible, it is possible to maintain the image layout state arranged by the user to the extent possible without any effort on the part of the user. Note that a warning message may be displayed to ask the user whether or not automatic changes are to be made, such as ``Register marks may not be printed correctly.Do you want to change the layout automatically?''.
In S908, the
Finally, in S909, the

As described above, by using the present embodiment, the user can change the registration mark printing settings while maintaining the intended image layout as much as possible, and can print without missing registration marks. Further, since an unintended change in the image layout does not occur simply by switching the registration mark printing settings, the user can consider image layout processing and changing the registration mark printing settings separately.
