(1)インクジェット印刷基材を提供することであって、インクジェット印刷基材が、インク受容性層を含まない、及び/又はインクジェット印刷基材が、インク受容性であるように改変されていない、提供する工程と、
(2)インクジェット印刷基材上に所望のパターンでUVインクを印刷することであって、UVインクが、少なくとも実質的に無溶媒である、印刷する工程と、
(3)UVインクをUV光源に露光することによって、UV印刷インクを硬化させる工程と、を含む。
(a)実質的に平面状の透明支持面上に第1のフィルムネガを位置決めする工程であって、第1のフィルムネガが、第1の所望のパターンで構成されている、位置決めする工程と、
(b)第1のフィルムネガと直接的又は間接的に接触して液体フォトポリマーの層をキャストする工程と、
(c)第1のフィルムネガと整列してかつ反対側で第2のフィルムネガを位置決めする工程であって、第2のフィルムネガが、液体フォトポリマーの層と直接的又は間接的に接触しており、第2のフィルムネガが、第1の所望のパターンと整列して第2の所望のパターンを有するように構成されている、位置決めする工程と、
(d)第1のUV印刷ポリマー層及び第2のUV印刷ポリマー層を通して化学線を露光して、第1の所望のパターン及び第2の所望のパターンに従って液体フォトポリマー層を選択的に架橋及び硬化させる工程と、を含み、
第1及び第2のフィルムネガは、本明細書に記載の方法に従って生成される。
Claims (15)
- フィルムネガを調製する方法であって、
(a)UV印刷基材上に所望のパターンでUVインクを分散させる工程と、
(b)前記UVインクを化学線源で硬化させて、前記UVインクを架橋及び硬化させ、前記所望のパターンでUV印刷ポリマー層を創出する工程と、を含み、
前記UVインクが、少なくとも実質的に無溶媒であり、
前記印刷基材が、接着剤層又はインク受容性層を含まず、インク受容性であるように改変されていない、方法。 - 前記印刷基材が、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、及びポリエチレンナフタレートからなる群より選択される透明材料を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、約365nm~約405nmの範囲の波長出力で少なくとも1つのUV光源への露光によって硬化される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクの硬化時間で前記UV印刷を硬化させる工程が、1分当たり約16インチ~1分当たり約3インチの速度で、少なくとも1つのUV光源に対して前記印刷基材を前進させることによって達成される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記印刷基材が、前記印刷基材上に配置された接着剤層を含み、前記接着剤層が、剥離ライナで覆われ、前記UVインクが、前記剥離ライナの表面上に印刷される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、約60°F~約90°Fの温度で硬化される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、約70°F~約80°Fの温度で硬化される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、1つ以上の光開始剤、モノマー、及び結合剤を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、シアン、マゼンタ、黄色、及び黒色を含む四色系を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、単一色インクであり、前記単一色インクが、黒色である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクの前記硬化が、真空下で空気除去を改善するように構成された表面形態を生成し、前記表面形態が、マイクロチャネルを画定する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UVインクが、加熱又は乾燥工程に供されない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- フレキソ印刷要素を画像化するプロセスで使用可能なフィルムネガであって、請求項1に記載の方法に従って生成された、フィルムネガ。
- 液体フォトポリマー樹脂を使用してI-プレートを調製する方法であって、
(a)実質的に平面状の透明支持面上に第1のフィルムネガを位置決めする工程であって、前記第1のフィルムネガが、第1の所望のパターンで構成されている、位置決めする工程と、
(b)前記第1のフィルムネガと直接的又は間接的に接触して液体フォトポリマーの層をキャストする工程と、
(c)前記第1のフィルムネガと整列してかつ反対側で第2のフィルムネガを位置決めする工程であって、前記第2のフィルムネガが、液体フォトポリマーの前記層と直接的又は間接的に接触しており、前記第2のフィルムネガが、前記第1の所望のパターンと整列して第2の所望のパターンを有するように構成されている、位置決めする工程と、
(d)前記第1のUV印刷ポリマー層及び前記第2のUV印刷ポリマー層を通して化学線を露光して、前記第1の所望のパターン及び前記第2の所望のパターンに従って前記液体フォトポリマー層を選択的に架橋及び硬化させる工程と、を含み、
前記第1及び第2のフィルムネガが、請求項1に記載の方法に従って生成される、方法。 - 前記第2の所望のパターンが、前記第1の所望のパターンよりも大きい寸法であり、それによって、前記第1の所望のパターンの周りに島を生成する、請求項14に記載の方法。
