- 10μmから100μmの範囲の平均直径および20nmから1,000nmの範囲の材料の厚さを有する金属フレークであって、該金属フレークが少なくとも1つの再帰反射構造を特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の再帰反射顔料。

- 前記金属フレークが、前記金属フレークの前面に少なくとも1つ、および前記金属フレークの裏面に少なくとも1つの、少なくとも2つのキューブコーナー構造を特徴とする、請求項4に記載の再帰反射顔料。
- 薄い金属箔をエンボス加工して得られた、請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載の再帰反射顔料。
- プリフォーム上または基材上への金属の物理蒸着(PVD)によって得られた、請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載の再帰反射顔料。
- 前記プリフォームが耐熱性ポリマーから構成され、前記基材がガラスから構成される、請求項7に記載の再帰反射顔料。
- アルミニウムから構成される、請求項1~8の何れか一項に記載の再帰反射顔料。
- 請求項1~9の何れか一項に記載の再帰反射顔料を含む塗料。
- 前記塗料中の再帰反射顔料の濃度が、塗料の総質量に対して0.01から10質量%の範囲である、請求項10に記載の塗料。
- 非再帰反射効果顔料をさらに含む、請求項10または11に記載の塗料。
- アクリル樹脂を含む、請求項10~12の何れか一項に記載の塗料。
- ポリウレタン樹脂を含む、請求項10~13の何れか一項に記載の塗料。
- 請求項10~14の何れか一項に記載の塗料から得られるコーティングであって、前記再帰反射顔料がコーティングの表面全体に均一に分布し、且つ前記再帰反射顔料によって被覆される前記コーティングの表面積の割合が、コーティングの総表面積に対して少なくとも0.01%である、コーティング。
