Abstract
回路遮断器(10)は、正常センサ出力及び過電流検出出力を有する電流センサ(206)と、回路遮断器に電流を流すことができる閉状態及び回路遮断器に流れる電流を遮断する開状態を有するように構成された固体スイッチモジュール(202)と、脱飽和機能出力を含む固体スイッチモジュールを制御するように構成されたゲートドライバ(204)であって、DESAT機能出力がオン状態に変化したときに、固体スイッチモジュールに回路遮断器に流れる電流を遮断させるように構成されている、ゲートドライバと、正常センサ出力が第1の閾値レベルに達したとき、又は過電流検出出力がオン状態に変化したときにゲートドライバにトリップ信号を出力するように構成された電子トリップ回路と、を含む。

Description
本出願は、2020年1月29日に出願された、同一出願人による同時出願の米国特許出願第16/775976号「SOLID STATE CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER」(代理人整理番号19-ETU-783-1)に関連する。
開示された概念は、概して、回路遮断器に関し、特に、固体回路遮断器に関する。
Claims (15)
- 回路遮断器で使用するための固体スイッチアセンブリであって、
入力端子と、
第1の導体と、
出力端子と、
第2の導体と、
前記第1の導体を用いて前記入力端子に電気的に接続され、前記第2の導体を用いて前記出力端子に電気的に接続され、少なくとも1つの固体スイッチを含む、固体スイッチモジュールと、
前記固体スイッチモジュールに取り付けられたヒートシンクと、
前記固体スイッチモジュールを通って流れる電流を検知するように構成された電流センサと、
いくつかの金属酸化物バリスタ(MOV)と、
を備える、固体スイッチアセンブリ。 - 前記ヒートシンクが、
第1の平面部材と、
前記第1の平面部材の第1の側から延在する第2の平面部材と、
前記第1の平面部材の第2の側から延在する複数の突起と、
を備える、請求項1に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。 - 前記固体スイッチモジュールが、前記ヒートシンクの前記第2の平面部材に取り付けられている、請求項2に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- いくつかの締結具を更に備え、
前記固体スイッチアセンブリが、前記いくつかの締結具を用いて前記ヒートシンクの前記第2の平面部材に取り付けられている、請求項3に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。 - 前記固体スイッチモジュールの第1の側が、前記ヒートシンクの前記第2の平面部材に取り付けられ、前記固体スイッチモジュールの第2の側が、前記いくつかのMOVに取り付けられている、請求項3に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- 前記電流センサが、前記第2の導体の周りに配置されている、請求項1に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- 前記電流センサが、ホール効果センサである、請求項1に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの固体スイッチが、金属酸化物半導体電界効果トランジスタ(MOSFET)又は絶縁ゲートバイポーラトランジスタ(IGBT)である、請求項1に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの固体スイッチが、炭化ケイ素MOSFETである、請求項8に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- 前記出力端子が、前記固体スイッチモジュールの左側又は右側に近接して配置され、前記入力端子が、前記固体スイッチモジュールの上側に近接して配置されている、請求項1に記載の固体スイッチアセンブリ。
- 回路遮断器であって、
いくつかの区画を含むフレームと、
請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のいくつかの固体スイッチアセンブリと、
を備え、前記固体スイッチアセンブリのそれぞれが、前記いくつかの区画のうちの対応する1つに配設されている、固体スイッチアセンブリ。 - 前記いくつかの区画のそれぞれが、前記回路遮断器の極に対応している、請求項11に記載の回路遮断器。
- 前記いくつかの区画のそれぞれが、前記いくつかの固体スイッチアセンブリのうちの1つを受け入れるように構成された細長の矩形開口部を形成している、請求項11に記載の回路遮断器。
- 固体スイッチを含む固体スイッチモジュールを有する回路遮断器を動作させる方法であって、
前記固体スイッチの特性を監視することと、
前記固体スイッチの前記特性が所定閾値を満たす又は超えると判定することと、
前記固体スイッチの前記特性が前記所定閾値を満たす又は超えると判定したことに応答して、指示を提供することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記固体スイッチの前記特性が、接合温度、順電圧降下、ボディダイオード順電圧降下、ゲート閾値電圧、又はゲート漏れ電流である、請求項14に記載の方法。
