Claims (10)
- 電極組立体、電解質、電池ケース及び電極端子を備えるバッテリーセルと、
少なくとも一部分が前記バッテリーセルの電池ケースの外面に取り付けられて前記電池ケースの変形を測定するように構成された変形測定ユニットと、
前記バッテリーセルの電極端子に接続されて前記バッテリーセル内部のインピーダンスを測定するように構成されたインピーダンス測定ユニットと、
前記変形測定ユニットによる変形測定結果及び前記インピーダンス測定ユニットによるインピーダンス測定結果を用いて前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングを判断するように構成された制御ユニットと、
を含む、バッテリーパック。 - 前記制御ユニットは、前記変形測定ユニットによって測定された変形量が基準変形量以上である場合にも、前記インピーダンス測定ユニットによって測定されたインピーダンスが基準インピーダンス未満であると、前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングが発生していないと判断する、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記インピーダンス測定ユニットによって測定されたインピーダンスが基準インピーダンス未満である場合、インピーダンスの増加を判断するように構成された、請求項1または2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記変形測定ユニットによって測定された変形量が基準変形量以上である場合、前記インピーダンス測定ユニットにインピーダンス測定開始信号を伝送するように構成された、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーセルの周辺に位置して前記バッテリーセルの温度を測定するように構成された温度測定ユニットをさらに含み、
前記制御ユニットは、前記温度測定ユニットによる温度測定結果をさらに考慮して前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングを判断するように構成された、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記制御ユニットは、前記変形測定ユニットによって測定された変形量が基準変形量以上であり、前記インピーダンス測定ユニットによって測定されたインピーダンスが基準インピーダンス以上であり、且つ、前記温度測定ユニットによって測定された温度が基準温度以上である場合のみに、前記バッテリーセルにスウェリングが発生したと判断するように構成された、請求項5に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーセルは、パウチ型電池であって、前記電極組立体、前記電解質が収納された収納部及び前記収納部の周囲に配置されるシーリング部を備え、
前記変形測定ユニットは、少なくとも一部分が前記収納部に取り付けられ、
前記インピーダンス測定ユニットは、少なくとも一部分が前記シーリング部に載置されるように構成された、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーセルは、前記シーリング部の少なくとも一部分が前記収納部側に折り曲げられた形態で構成され、
前記インピーダンス測定ユニットは、少なくとも一部分が前記バッテリーセルの収納部と折り曲げられたシーリング部との間に介在された形態で構成された、請求項7に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記変形測定ユニットは、一方向に長く延びて一部が折り曲げられた形態で構成され、一端が印刷回路基板上に取り付けられ、他端が前記バッテリーセルの収納部上に取り付けられた、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックを含む、自動車。
