Abstract
Description
以下の実現例を説明するにおいて、関連する公知の構成または機能に関する具体的な説明が、実現例の要旨を不明瞭にし得ると判断される場合には、その詳細な説明を省略する。また、図面における各構成要素の大きさは、説明のために誇張または省略されることがあり、実際に適用される大きさとは異なり得る。
図1を参照すると、一実現例によるディスプレイ装置1は、ディスプレイパネル20と、前記ディスプレイパネル20の前面(視認面)上に配置されるカバーウィンドウ10とを含む。具体的に、前記ディスプレイ装置1は、カバーウィンドウ10、ディスプレイパネル20、基板30、およびこれらを保護するフレーム40を含む。また、前記カバーウィンドウ10と前記ディスプレイパネル20との間に接着層が形成され得る。例えば、前記接着層は、光学的に透明な接着剤を含み得る。
図2を参照すると、一実現例による複合フィルム10は、基材フィルム100と、前記基材フィルム100上に形成された機能層200とを含み、前記機能層200は、アクリレート系バインダーとアクリルアミド系モノマーとを含む。
前記複合フィルムは、カバーウィンドウとして適用され得る特性を有する。
前記機能層は基材フィルム上に形成される。
前記機能層は、前記基材フィルムの物性を改善および補完して、複合フィルムの機械的物性および/または光学物性を向上させ得る。
前記アクリレート系バインダーの含有量は、前記機能層の重量を基準に30重量%~95重量%であり得る。具体的に、前記アクリレート系バインダーの含有量は、機能層の重量を基準に40重量%~90重量%または50重量%~80重量%であり得るが、これに限定されるものではない。
前記アクリルアミド系モノマーは、帯電防止剤のような様々な機能性添加剤を単一機能層に導入する際に発生し得る基材との付着力低下を防止する役割を果たし得る。
ここで、R1およびR2はそれぞれ独立して、水素、置換または非置換の1価のC6~C30脂環式基、置換または非置換の1価のC4~C30ヘテロ脂環式基、置換または非置換の1価のC6~C30芳香族環基、置換または非置換の1価のC4~C30芳香族ヘテロ環基、置換または非置換のC1~C30アルキル基、置換または非置換のC2~C30アルケニル基、もしくは置換または非置換のC2~C30アルキニル基であり得る。
前記基材フィルムは、前記複合フィルムに機械的特性を提供しながら前記機能層のベース層として作用する。
前記化学式1において、Eは、置換または非置換の2価のC6-C30脂環式基、置換または非置換の2価のC4-C30ヘテロ脂環式基、置換または非置換の2価のC6-C30芳香族環基、置換または非置換の2価のC4-C30芳香族ヘテロ環基、置換または非置換のC1-C30アルキレン基、置換または非置換のC2-C30アルケニレン基、置換または非置換のC2-C30アルキニレン基、-O-、-S-、-C(=O)-、-CH(OH)-、-S(=O)2-、-Si(CH3)2-、-C(CH3)2-、および-C(CF3)2-の中から選択され、eは1~5の整数の中から選択され、eが2以上の場合、Eは互いに同一または異なり得る。

前記フィラーは、硫酸バリウム、シリカおよび炭酸カルシウムからなる群より選択される1種以上であり得る。前記基材フィルムは、前記フィラーを含むことにより、粗度および巻取性を向上させ得るとともに、フィルム製造の際の走行性およびスクラッチ改善効果を向上させ得る。
以下に記述される実施例は、理解を容易にするためのものであるのみ、実現可能な範囲がこれらに限定されるものではない。
下記表1の成分を溶媒中に混合して機能層組成物Aを得た。前記溶媒としてメチルイソブチルケトン(MIBK)、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル(PM)、メチルエチルケトン(MEK)およびエタノールの混合溶媒を使用しており、前記機能層組成物Aの全重量を基準に、固形分濃度が25重量%~40重量%となるように前記混合溶媒を配合した。
下記表2の成分を溶媒中に配合して機能層組成物Bを得た。前記溶媒の種類および配合量は前記組成物Aと同一であった。
前記機能層組成物Aを用意し、厚さ50μmの透明なポリイミド系フィルム(TPI、SKC社)の一面にメイヤーバー(Mayer Bar)でコーティングした。その後、60℃の温度にて2分間熱処理してコーティング組成物中の溶媒を乾燥させ、窒素雰囲気下で500mJ/cm2~1000mJ/cm2のUV光を照射した。その結果、厚さ約5μmの機能層がポリイミド系フィルム上に形成された複合フィルムを得た。
前記実施例1と同様の手順を繰り返すが、バインダー100重量部に対してアクリルアミドの含有量を20重量部(固形分重量基準)に調整して複合フィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物において、第4級アンモニウム系の帯電防止剤の代わりに有機溶媒系導電性高分子(PEDOT系)0.5重量部を添加して複合フィルムを製造した。
前記実施例2と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物において、第4級アンモニウム系の帯電防止剤の代わりに有機溶媒系導電性高分子(PEDOT系)0.5重量部を添加して複合フィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物からアクリルアミドおよび帯電防止剤を除いて複合フィルムを製造した。
前記実施例1と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物からアクリルアミドのみを除いて複合フィルムを製造した。
前記機能層組成物Bを用いて前記実施例1と同様にして複合フィルムを製造した。
前記比較例3と同様の手順を繰り返すが、バインダー100重量部に対してアクリル系モノマーの含有量を20重量部(固形分重量基準)に調整して複合フィルムを製造した。
前記実施例3と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物からアクリルアミドのみを除いて複合フィルムを製造した。
前記比較例3と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物において第4級アンモニウム系の帯電防止剤の代わりに有機溶媒系導電性高分子(PEDOT系)0.5重量部を添加して複合フィルムを製造した。
前記比較例4と同様の手順を繰り返すが、機能層組成物において第4級アンモニウム系の帯電防止剤の代わりに有機溶媒系導電性高分子(PEDOT系)0.5重量部を添加して複合フィルムを製造した。
複合フィルムサンプルの機能層と基材フィルムとの間の密着力をクロスカットテストによって評価した。機能層の表面をASTM D 3359(Method B)規格に基づいて一定間隔の格子状に切断した後、その上にテープ(3M社のScotch(登録商標)Magic Tape)を貼り付けて剥がして、表面において格子単位の薄片が発生する程度を確認した。以下の基準に従って0Bから5Bまで等級をつけており、5Bの場合に最も優れるものと評価された(図3参照)。
-4B:コーティングの小さな片が交点で分離される(格子面積の5%未満)
-3B:コーティングの小さな片が角に沿って、かつ、切断部分の交点で分離される(格子面積の5%以上、15%未満)
-2B:コーティングの切断面の縁と四角形の一部が分離される(格子面積の15%以上、35%未満)
-1B:コーティングが切断面の縁に沿って大きく剥がれ、四角形が分離される(格子面積の35%~65%)
-0B:コーティングが剥がれ、四角形が分離する程度がさらにひどくなる(格子面積の65%超)
表面抵抗測定器(SIMCO ion社のST-4)で複合フィルムサンプルの機能層表面に100Vの電圧を印加して抵抗を測定した。
接触角測定器(KYOWA社製DM-CE1)で水滴3.0μLを用いて複合フィルムサンプルの機能層表面の水接触角を測定した。初期接触角が100°以上の場合は良好のものと判断し得る(図4参照)。
複合フィルムサンプルの機能層表面に純度99.5%以上のエタノール10μLを適用し、耐摩耗試験装置(DEASUNG PRECISION社、韓国)および耐摩耗試験用消しゴム(MINOAN社、韓国)を用いて、1kgの荷重でエタノールが適用された機能層表面を3000回擦った後、前記試験例3と同様にして水接触角を測定した。耐摩耗試験後の接触角が95°以上の場合、良好のものと判断し得る(図5参照)。
前記実施例および比較例の構成およびその試験結果を下記表にまとめた。

- 基材フィルムと、
前記基材フィルム上に形成された機能層とを含み、
前記機能層は、
アクリレート系バインダーと、
アクリルアミド系モノマーとを含む、複合フィルム。 - 前記機能層の表面抵抗が1×1013Ω/sq以下であり、
前記機能層の表面についてASTM D3359規格に基づいてクロスカットテストした結果が3B以上である、請求項1に記載の複合フィルム。 - 前記機能層の表面に純度99.5%以上のエタノール10μLを適用した状態で耐摩耗試験用消しゴムを用いて1kg荷重で3000回擦った後で測定した水接触角が95°以上である、請求項1に記載の複合フィルム。
- 前記アクリルアミド系モノマーは、前記アクリレート系バインダー100重量部に対して0重量部超~40重量部以下の量で含まれる、請求項1に記載の複合フィルム。
- 前記アクリレート系バインダーが、ウレタンアクリレート系オリゴマーおよびアクリレート系モノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の複合フィルム。
- 前記機能層が帯電防止剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の複合フィルム。
- 前記機能層が、防汚剤、UV吸収剤および光開始剤からなる群より選択される1種以上をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の複合フィルム。
