Description
Claims (20)
- 包絡線追跡システムであって、
無線周波数信号を増幅するべく、かつ、電力増幅器供給電圧からの電力を受けるべく、構成される電力増幅器と、
前記無線周波数信号の包絡線に対応する包絡線信号に基づいて電力増幅器供給電圧を生成するべく構成される包絡線追跡器と
を含み、
前記包絡線追跡器は、
複数の調節済み電圧を出力するべく構成されるDC/DC変換器と、
前記複数の調節済み電圧及び前記包絡線信号に基づいて前記電力増幅器供給電圧を制御するべく構成される変調器と、
前記無線周波数信号の電力レベルに基づいて前記複数の調節済み電圧のうち少なくとも一つの調節済み電圧の電圧レベルを制御するべく構成されるスイッチングポイント適合回路と
を含む、包絡線追跡システム。 - 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路は、前記無線周波数信号の電力レベルに基づいて前記複数の調節済み電圧のそれぞれの電圧レベルを制御するように構成される、請求項1の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路は、送信フレーム又は送信シンボルの少なくとも一方のための信号電力値に基づいて前記無線周波数信号の電力レベルを推定するべく構成される電力推定回路を含む、請求項1の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記信号電力値は平均電力を示す、請求項3の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記信号電力値はピーク電力を示す、請求項3の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路はさらに、前記信号電力値に関連付けられる複数の所望電圧レベルを推定するべく構成される電圧推定回路を含む、請求項3の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路はさらに、前記複数の所望電圧レベルのうち対応する一つの所望電圧レベルをそれぞれが備えた前記複数の調節済み電圧を出力するように前記DC/DC変換器を制御するべく構成されるプログラミング回路を含む、請求項6の包絡線追跡システム。
- 2以上の無線周波数信号を増幅するべく構成される2以上の電力増幅器をさらに含み、
前記包絡線追跡器は、前記複数の調節済み電圧を受けて前記2以上の電力増幅器のうち対応する一つの電力増幅器のための供給電圧を生成する変調を与えるべくそれぞれが構成される2以上の変調器を含む、請求項1の包絡線追跡システム。 - 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路は、前記2以上の無線周波数信号の最大電力レベルに基づいて前記電圧レベルを制御するべく構成される、請求項8の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記複数の調節済み電圧はそれぞれが異なる電圧レベルを有する、請求項1の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記変調器は、前記変調器の出力と前記複数の調節済み電圧のうち対応する一つの調節済み電圧との間にそれぞれが結合される複数のスイッチを含む、請求項1の包絡線追跡システム。
- 前記変調器の出力と前記電力増幅器供給電圧との間に接続される変調器出力フィルタをさらに含み、
前記変調器出力フィルタは、少なくとも一つの直列インダクタ及び少なくとも一つのシャントキャパシタを含む、請求項1の包絡線追跡システム。 - 携帯デバイスであって、
無線周波数送信信号を生成するべく構成される送受信器と、
前記無線周波数送信信号を増幅するべく、かつ、電力増幅器供給電圧からの電力を受けるべく、構成される電力増幅器を含むフロントエンド回路と、
前記無線周波数送信信号の包絡線に対応する包絡線信号に基づいて電力増幅器供給電圧を生成するべく構成される包絡線追跡器を含む電力管理回路と
を含み、
前記包絡線追跡器は、
複数の調節済み電圧を出力するべく構成されるDC/DC変換器と、
前記複数の調節済み電圧及び前記包絡線信号に基づいて前記電力増幅器供給電圧を制御するべく構成される変調器と、
前記無線周波数送信信号の電力レベルに基づいて前記複数の調節済み電圧のうち少なくとも一つの調節済み電圧の電圧レベルを制御するべく構成されるスイッチングポイント適合回路と
を含む、携帯デバイス。 - 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路は、送信フレーム又は送信シンボルの少なくとも一方のための信号電力値に基づいて前記無線周波数信号の電力レベルを推定するべく構成される電力推定回路を含む、請求項13の携帯デバイス。
- 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路はさらに、前記信号電力値に関連付けられる複数の所望電圧レベルを推定するべく構成される電圧推定回路を含む、請求項14の携帯デバイス。
- 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路はさらに、前記複数の所望電圧レベルのうち対応する一つの所望電圧レベルをそれぞれが備えた前記複数の調節済み電圧を出力するように前記DC/DC変換器を制御するべく構成されるプログラミング回路を含む、請求項15の携帯デバイス。
- 2以上の無線周波数送信信号を増幅するべく構成される2以上の電力増幅器を含み、
前記包絡線追跡器は、前記複数の調節済み電圧を受けて前記2以上の電力増幅器のうち対応する一つの電力増幅器のための供給電圧を生成する変調を与えるべくそれぞれが構成される2以上の変調器を含む、請求項13の携帯デバイス。 - 前記スイッチングポイント適合回路は、前記2以上の無線周波数送信信号の最大電力レベルに基づいて前記電圧レベルを制御するべく構成される、請求項17の携帯デバイス。
- 包絡線追跡の方法であって、
電力増幅器を使用して無線周波数信号を増幅することと、
電力増幅器供給電圧を使用して前記電力増幅器に電力を供給することと、
DC/DC変換器から複数の調節済み電圧を出力することと、
変調器を使用して、前記複数の調節済み電圧及び包絡線信号に基づいて前記電力増幅器供給電圧を制御することであって、前記包絡線信号は前記無線周波数信号の包絡線に対応することと、
前記無線周波数信号の電力レベルに基づいて前記複数の調節済み電圧のうち少なくとも一つの調節済み電圧の電圧レベルを制御することと
を含む、方法。 - 送信フレーム又は送信シンボルの少なくとも一方のための信号電力値に基づいて前記無線周波数信号の電力レベルを推定することと、
前記信号電力値に関連付けられる複数の所望電圧レベルを推定することと
をさらに含む、請求項19の方法。
