Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年10月24日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/749,919号の利益を主張するものであり、その全内容および趣旨を、以下に完全に記載されているかのように、参照により本明細書に援用する。
本開示は、概して化学機械的調整プロセスに関する。特に、本開示の各実施形態は、化学機械的細胞爆砕プロセスによって製造された固体製品および液体製品、その製造システムおよび使用システム、ならびに製造方法および使用方法に関する。
以下の実施例は、例示的なものとして示すが、限定的なものではない。

Claims (54)
- 1つ以上の添加剤を繊維材料と水とを含む原料と組み合わせて第1の混合物を得るステップと、
液体製品および乾燥パルプ製品を得るために前記第1の混合物を調整するステップと、を含むプロセス。 - 前記繊維材料がセルロースを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記繊維材料がリグニンとヘミセルロースとをさらに含む、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記原料に含まれる水の量が、前記原料の総重量に対して、約10重量%以上約90重量%以下である、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記乾燥パルプ製品が、前記乾燥パルプ製品の総重量に対して約35重量%以下の量の水を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、前記液体製品の総重量に対して約50重量%以上の量の水を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記調整するステップが、
前記第1の混合物にせん断力を加えて前記第1の混合物の圧力を上昇させるステップと、
前記第1の混合物の前記繊維材料の複数の細胞を爆砕させるステップと、を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。 - 前記調整するステップが、
前記添加剤を前記第1の混合物の前記繊維材料と混合して処理済み材料を形成するステップと、
前記処理済み材料から水の第1の部分を除去するステップと、
前記添加剤を前記水の第1の部分で可溶化するステップと、
前記処理済み材料における前記繊維材料の前記複数の細胞の細胞壁を弱体化するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項7に記載のプロセス。 - 前記弱体化するステップが、前記添加剤を前記細胞壁中のリグニンと反応させるステップを含む、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 前記調整するステップが、
前記処理済み材料にせん断力を加えて前記処理済み材料の圧力および温度を上昇させるステップと、
前記処理済み材料における前記繊維材料を分別することによって前記処理済み材料中の水の第2の部分を蒸発させるステップと、
前記処理済み材料を大気圧に開放して前記繊維材料の前記複数の細胞の爆砕を誘起するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項8に記載のプロセス。 - 前記液体製品が、前記原料に存在するVOCの少なくとも75%を含有する、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記調整が、約200°F以上約350°F以下の最高温度で行われる、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記添加剤が界面活性剤を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記添加剤が、約30g/mol以上約10,000,000g/mol以下の分子量を有する、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記乾燥固体製品をペレット化してペレットを形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、1つ以上のバイオスティミュラント化合物と水とを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記1つ以上のバイオスティミュラント化合物が、ミネラル、タンパク質、アミノ酸、フミン酸、フルボ酸、および1種以上の有機酸、のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項16に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ミネラルが、カリウム、蛍光体、リン、窒素化合物、カルシウム、マグネシウム、硫黄、硫黄(IV)(sulfurous)、ナトリウム、鉄、マンガン、亜鉛、および銅のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項17に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、セルロース、リグニン、およびヘミセルロースのうちの1つ以上をさらに含む、請求項16に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項1から請求項19のいずれか一項に記載のプロセスによって製造された乾燥パルプ製品。
- 請求項1から請求項19のいずれか一項に記載のプロセスによって製造された液体製品。
- 1つ以上の添加剤を、水を含む繊維材料と混合するステップと、
前記繊維材料から水の第1の部分を除去するステップと、
前記添加剤を前記水の第1の部分で可溶化するステップと、
前記繊維材料の複数の細胞の細胞壁を弱体化するステップと、
前記繊維材料にせん断力を加えて前記繊維材料の圧力および温度を上昇させるステップと、
前記繊維材料を分別することによって前記繊維材料中の水の第2の部分を蒸発させるステップと、
前記繊維材料を大気圧に開放して前記繊維材料中の前記複数の細胞の爆砕を誘起するステップと、を含む、化学機械的細胞爆砕プロセス。 - 前記繊維材料を前記1つ以上の添加剤と混合する際に、前記繊維材料に含まれる水の量が、前記繊維材料の総重量に対して、約5重量%以上約90重量%以下である、請求項22に記載のプロセス。
- 前記繊維材料を大気圧に開放して前記複数の細胞の爆砕を誘起する際に、前記繊維材料に含まれる水の量が、前記繊維材料の総重量に対して、約35重量%以下である、請求項22に記載のプロセス。
- 約200°F以上約350°F以下の最高温度で行われる、請求項22に記載のプロセス。
- 前記添加剤が界面活性剤を含む、請求項22に記載のプロセス。
- 前記添加剤が、約30g/mol以上約10,000,000g/mol以下の分子量を有する、請求項22に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項22から請求項27のいずれか一項に記載のプロセスによって製造された繊維パルプ材料。
- 請求項22から請求項28のいずれか一項に記載のプロセスによって製造され、固体微粒子と1つ以上のバイオスティミュラント化合物と水とを含む、液体。
- 前記1つ以上のバイオスティミュラント化合物が、ミネラル、タンパク質、アミノ酸、フミン酸、フルボ酸、および1種以上の有機酸、のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項29に記載の液体。
- 前記1種以上の有機酸が、前記液体中に、前記液体の総重量に対して約0.001重量%以上約10重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項30に記載の液体。
- 前記水が、前記液体中に、前記液体の総重量に対して約50重量%以上約90重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項29に記載の液体。
- リグニンをさらに含み、前記リグニンが、前記液体中に、前記液体の総重量に対して約0.01重量%以上約75重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項29に記載の液体。
- 前記ミネラルが、カリウム、リン、窒素化合物、カルシウム、マグネシウム、硫黄、ナトリウム、鉄、マンガン、亜鉛、および銅のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項29に記載の液体。
- 前記固体微粒子が、前記液体の総重量に対して約0.0001%以上約50%以下の乾燥物重量百分率を有する、請求項29に記載の液体。
- 植物の成長を促進する方法であって、請求項29から請求項35のいずれか一項に記載の液体を前記植物に投与するステップを含む方法。
- 繊維ペレットであって、
複数本の露出したセルロース繊維を含み、該複数本の露出したセルロース繊維のそれぞれが少なくとも1本の他の露出したセルロース繊維ともつれ合った繊維材料と、
前記繊維ペレットの総重量に対して約35%以下の量の水と、を含む繊維ペレット。 - 前記繊維材料が、リグニンおよびヘミセルロースのうちの1つ以上をさらに含む、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記複数本の露出したセルロース繊維が、ねじれた繊維を含む、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- ペレット耐久性指数(PDI)が75以上である、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記繊維材料が、平均最大断面サイズが約100ナノメートル~約1000ミクロンの繊維を含む、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記繊維ペレットがバインダを含まない、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- かさ密度が約15kg/m3以上約800kg/m3以下である、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記複数本の露出したセルロース繊維が、前記繊維ペレット中に、前記ペレットの総重量に対して2重量%以上の量で存在する、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記複数本の露出したセルロース繊維が、前記繊維ペレット中に、前記ペレットの総重量に対して5重量%以上の量で存在する、請求項44に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記複数本の露出したセルロース繊維が、前記繊維ペレット中に、前記ペレットの総重量に対して5重量%以上80重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項45に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記複数本の露出したセルロース繊維が、前記繊維ペレット中に、前記ペレットの総重量に対して5重量%以上60重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項46に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記複数本の露出したセルロース繊維が、前記繊維ペレット中に、前記ペレットの総重量に対して5重量%以上50重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項47に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 前記繊維材料が、前記繊維ペレット中に、前記ペレットの総重量に対して99.99重量%以上の量で存在する、請求項37に記載の繊維ペレット。
- 原料処理量を増加させるためのプロセスであって、
1つ以上の添加剤をセルロースを含む繊維材料と水とを含む原料と混合して第1の混合物を得るステップと、
製品を得るために前記原料を緻密化するステップと、を含み、
プロセスの処理量が、添加剤なしのプロセスと比較して1~30%増加する、プロセス。 - 前記水が、前記原料中に、前記原料の総重量に対して約5重量%以上約30%以下の量で存在する、請求項50に記載のプロセス。
- 前記繊維材料がリグニンをさらに含む、請求項50に記載のプロセス。
- 前記原料が、穀物、草、セルロース系材料およびリグノセルロース系材料、骨、食品産業加工廃棄物、ならびにそれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項50に記載のプロセス。
