Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt resin composition, a moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesive, a cured product and a laminate.
Hot-melt adhesives are solvent-free and are widely used as environment-friendly adhesives for bonding metal materials such as aluminum, wood materials, plastics, rubber, textiles, synthetic leather, paper products, etc. It is used in various fields such as building material panels, decorative panels, automobile interior materials, and clothing. As hot-melt adhesives, in addition to moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesives, olefin-based hot-melt adhesives, polyester-based hot-melt adhesives, and the like are known. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for good adhesion even to smooth substrates. agents and the like have been proposed (see Patent Document 1).
According to the studies of the present inventors, moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesives often contain polyester as a structural component in order to exhibit ideal adhesive performance, and relatively smooth aluminum or vinyl chloride adhesives. (PVC) It is effective to include an amorphous straight-chain aliphatic polyester (hereinafter abbreviated as "liquid polyester") having a relatively low glass transition temperature in order to exhibit adhesion to the substrate. However, when the ratio of the liquid polyester is large, there is a problem that the cohesive force (initial set property) at the initial stage of adhesion is not expressed. Initial adhesion cohesion is important in certain processing operations, such as lapping.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is a moisture-curable polyurethane that exhibits high initial setting properties while containing a liquid polyester that exhibits adhesion to smooth substrates, particularly aluminum and PVC substrates. An object of the present invention is to provide a hot melt adhesive.
By using the liquid polyester, the mobility of the molecular chains is enhanced, and the polyurethane as a whole can follow and interact with the aluminum surface. On the other hand, since the glass transition temperature is low, if the ratio is increased, the initial set property after adhesion is deteriorated. The inventors of the present invention focused on high-molecular-weight liquid polyesters, and found that, despite having the same composition, the viscosity of the polyurethane as a whole was surprisingly increased, and the initial set property was improved. We have completed the present invention.

[Method for evaluating initial setting property]
The moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesives obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples were melted at 120° C. for 1 hour and then applied to a sheet with a thickness of 0.10 mm using an applicator. Aluminum, PVC substrates, or medium density fiberboards were laminated together with press rolls. A slit with a width of 25 mm was made, and after 3 minutes from bonding, a creep test was conducted under the conditions of a temperature of 35°C and a load of 150 g. After 15 minutes from hanging, the peel distance was measured and evaluated as follows.
"◯": The peel distance is 5 mm or less.
"X": The peeling distance is 5 mm or more.

[Method for evaluating adhesion to substrate]
The moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesives obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples were melted at 120° C. for 1 hour and then applied to a sheet with a thickness of 0.10 mm using an applicator. Aluminum, PVC substrates, or medium density fiberboards were laminated together with press rolls. A slit with a width of 25 mm was made, and after leaving it for 48 hours at a temperature of 23°C and a humidity of 50%, a creep test was conducted under the conditions of a temperature of 60°C and a load of 500g. After 60 minutes from hanging, the peel distance was measured and evaluated as follows.
"◯": The peel distance is 5 mm or less.
"X": The peeling distance is 5 mm or more.

Comparative Examples 1 and 2 are examples that do not contain an aliphatic polyester polyol (a2-1) having a number average molecular weight of 1,000 or more and 3,000 or less. could not. Comparative Example 3 is an example in which the aliphatic polyester polyol (a2-2) having a number average molecular weight of 5,000 or more and 9,000 or less was not included, and the adhesion to the substrate was poor. Comparative Examples 4 and 5 are examples in which the mass ratio of the aliphatic polyester polyols (a2-1) and (a2-2) is smaller than the range specified in the present invention, and the initial set property and adhesion to the substrate could not be reconciled. Comparative Example 6 was an example in which the mass ratio of the aliphatic polyester polyols (a2-1) and (a2-2) was larger than the range specified in the present invention, and the initial set property was poor.
The moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt resin composition of the present invention can achieve both initial setting properties and adhesion to smooth substrates such as vinyl chloride substrates and aluminum substrates.
