Abstract
Description
(車両用前照灯)
図1は、本実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯の水平断面図である。図2は、本実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯の正面図である。なお、図2においては、一部の部品を省略してある。
第2の実施の形態に係る光学ユニットは、第1の光源の構成が異なることが主な特徴であり、それ以外は第1の実施の形態と実質的な違いはない。したがって、以下では第1の光源について詳述する。
第1の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯10においては、回転リフレクタ22のブレード22aの形状が、回転軸Rを中心とする周方向に向かうにつれて、光軸Axと反射面とが成す角が変化するように捩られた形状を有している。一方、第3の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯10においては、回転リフレクタとしてポリゴンミラーを用いており、それ以外は第1の実施の形態と実質的な違いはない。したがって、以下の説明においては、回転リフレクタについて詳述し、第1の実施の形態と同じ構成については同じ符号を付して説明を適宜省略する。
上述の各実施の形態において、静止した回転リフレクタに反射されて前方へ投影された光源像は、いずれも同じ大きさの矩形として説明されている。しかしながら、矩形の発光面を有する各発光素子は、入力する電流(電力)の大きさを制御する(変化させる)ことで、静止状態での光源像としての大きさを変化させることができる。
Claims (5)
- 複数の発光素子がアレイ状に配置されている光源と、
前記光源から出射した光を反射しながら回転する回転リフレクタと、
前記複数の発光素子の点灯状態を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記回転リフレクタは、回転しながら反射した光を光源像として走査することで配光パターンを形成するように反射面が設けられており、
前記複数の発光素子は、第1の発光素子および第2の発光素子を含み、
前記制御部は、前記第1の発光素子の点灯時間T1が、前記第2の発光素子の点灯時間T2(T2>0)よりも長くなるように、前記第1の発光素子および前記第2の発光素子の点灯状態を制御することを特徴とする光学ユニット。 - 前記光源は、光源像として走査される方向に対して交差する方向に前記第1の発光素子および前記第2の発光素子が並んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記複数の発光素子は、第3の発光素子を更に含み、
前記第3の発光素子は、前記第1の発光素子が走査する領域と前記第2の発光素子が走査する領域と重複する領域を走査するように配置されており、
前記制御部は、前記第3の発光素子を点灯している時間T3が、T1>T3>T2を満たすように、前記第3の発光素子の出力を制御することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光学ユニット。 - 前記制御部は、前記配光パターンの自車線側カットオフラインが外側に向かって斜めまたは階段状に高くなるように前記複数の発光素子の点灯状態を制御することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記光源は、複数の発光素子がm行×n列(m、nは2以上の整数)のマトリックス状に配置されており、第(k-1)列の発光素子に対して第k列(kはn以下の整数)の発光素子が1/nピッチずれて配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の光学ユニット。
