Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[Overall composition of pants-type disposable diapers]
1 and 2 show a pants-type disposable diaper 1 which is an embodiment of the pants-type absorbent article of the present invention. The pants-type disposable diaper 1 is hereinafter referred to as a diaper 1.

As shown in FIG. 1, the diaper 1 includes a waist opening 1W and a pair of leg openings IL, and is worn on the wearer's lower abdomen and crotch when worn. The waist opening 1W has an opening end 50. The diaper 1 has a vertical direction X, a horizontal direction Y, and a thickness direction Z. The longitudinal direction X extends from the ventral side of the wearer through the crotch to the dorsal side. The horizontal direction Y is orthogonal to the vertical direction X and corresponds to the left-right direction of the wearer. The thickness direction Z is orthogonal to the vertical direction X and the horizontal direction Y.
In the present specification, "vertical direction X upper" means a direction approaching the opening end 50 of the waist opening 1W, and "vertical direction X lower" means a vertical X intermediate portion of the inseam region C described later. It means the direction of approach. That is, "vertical direction X upper side" and "vertical direction X lower side" correspond to the vertical direction of the wearer in the wearing state.
In the present specification, with respect to the thickness direction Z, the side close to the wearer's skin may be referred to as the skin side, and the side close to the clothing may be referred to as the non-skin side. Further, the “skin facing surface” means a surface of the diaper 1 or its constituent members that is directed toward the wearer's skin side when the diaper 1 is worn, that is, a surface that is relatively close to the wearer's skin. The "non-skin facing surface" means a surface of the diaper 1 or its constituent members that is directed to the side opposite to the skin side (clothing side) when the diaper 1 is worn, that is, a surface relatively far from the wearer's skin. do.
"When worn" means a state in which the normally assumed proper wearing position is maintained.

The diaper 1 has a ventral region A arranged on the ventral side of the wearer when worn, a dorsal region B arranged on the dorsal side of the wearer when worn, and a ventral region A and a dorsal region B. It is divided into an inseam region C, which is located between them and is arranged in the crotch portion of the wearer when worn. The ventral region A, the inseam region C, and the dorsal region B are arranged along the vertical direction X. In the ventral region A and the dorsal region B, the lateral edge portions A1 and B1 are joined to each other to form a waist opening 1W. A leg roll is formed in the inseam region C, and this leg roll forms the leg opening 1L.
Note that FIG. 2 shows a form in which the diaper 1 is unfolded and the elastic members of each part are stretched and spread out in a plane. This aspect is also referred to as a "expanded / extended form" of the diaper 1. Deploying the diaper 1 means deploying the side edges A1 and B1 of the ventral region A and the dorsal region B separately.

The diaper 1 includes a front surface sheet 2, a back surface sheet (not shown), an absorbent main body 4 having an absorbent body 40, and an exterior body 5 arranged on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorbent main body 4.
The exterior body 5 includes an outer surface 5a which is a non-skin facing surface of the diaper 1.

The absorbent main body 4 has a structure in which the back surface sheet, the absorber 40, and the front surface sheet 2 are laminated in the thickness direction Z. The absorber 40 extends in the longitudinal direction X in the inseam region C and extends to a part of the ventral region A and the dorsal region B. The absorber 40 includes a liquid-retaining absorbent core, and may further include a core wrap sheet that covers the absorbent core.

Materials used for each configuration (back surface sheet, absorber 40, front surface sheet 2 and leakage-proof cuff described later) included in the absorbent main body 4 and constituent members of the diaper 1 such as the exterior body 5 are in the technical field. What is used can be used without particular limitation.

The diaper 1 may further include a waist elastic member 22 for forming waist gathers and a waist elastic member 23 provided in the ventral region A or the dorsal region B. The waist elastic member 22 and the waistline elastic member 23 are thread-shaped or band-shaped elastic members that can be expanded and contracted in the lateral direction Y. These elastic members 22 and 23 allow the diaper 1 to fit the wearer's body, enhance the wearing feeling of the diaper 1, and effectively prevent the leakage of excrement.

[Asava cuff configuration]
As shown in FIG. 2, the absorbent body 4 further has a pair of leak-proof cuffs 6 arranged on both sides in the lateral direction Y and configured to expand and contract in the vertical direction X. The leak-proof cuff 6 extends in the longitudinal direction X in the inseam region C and extends to the ventral region A and the dorsal region B.

The leak-proof cuff 6 has a cuff forming sheet 61 and a cuff expansion / contraction portion 62.
The cuff forming sheet 61 is formed of a sheet material having functions such as poor liquid permeability, water vapor permeability, and water repellency. The cuff forming sheet 61 includes a base portion (not shown) and a free end portion 61a extending in the vertical direction X, respectively. The base is joined to other components such as the surface sheet 2 and the exterior body 5. The free end portion 61a is arranged on the lateral Y center portion side of the base portion, and most of the free end portion 61a is not joined to other constituent members such as the surface sheet 2. The upper end side of the cuff forming sheet 61 in the vertical direction is heat-sealed with a member (for example, the surface sheet 2) constituting the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent main body 4, an exterior body 5 folded back from the waist opening 1W, and the like. It is joined with an adhesive or the like.

The cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 extends in the vertical direction X and is configured to be expandable / contractible. "The cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 extends in the vertical direction X" means that the elastic member described later extends from the ventral region A side to the dorsal region B side as a whole, and a part of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 extends. It also includes aspects such as bending.
The cuff elastic member 62 is composed of a thread-shaped or band-shaped elastic member (for example, rubber thread). The elastic member of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 is arranged, for example, inside the folded portion in which the free end portion 61a of the cuff forming sheet 61 is folded back. The elastic member is attached to the cuff forming sheet 61 in a state of being stretched in a plane shape in a state of being stretched in the vertical direction X. As a result, when worn, the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 contracts in the vertical direction X, the free end portion 61a is separated from the surface sheet 2 in the thickness direction Z, and a leak-proof cuff 6 standing upright on the skin side is realized. Each cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 has one or a plurality of elastic members, and in the example shown in FIG. 2 and the like, it has two elastic members.

The end portion 62a of the cuff telescopic portion 62 in the vertical direction X is the end portion of the stretchable region of the elastic member. That is, when the end portion of the elastic member is joined to the cuff forming sheet 61 in a non-stretched state, the end portion 62a of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 is the non-stretchable portion of the elastic member. It is defined as the part above the vertical X excluding. Specifically, at the end portion 62a of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62, the leakage-proof cuff 6 of the diaper 1 in a state where the elastic member is not stretched is visually confirmed, and a wrinkled portion and a wrinkle are formed on the elastic member. It is defined as the boundary with the part that does not exist. Further, when each cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 has a plurality of elastic members, the end portion 62a is a boundary portion located at the uppermost position in the vertical direction X among the boundary portions of the plurality of elastic members.
There are two end portions 62a on the ventral side region A side and two on the dorsal side region B side for each of the left and right cuff expansion / contraction portions 62, and there are a total of four end portions 62a.

[Structure of waste tape]
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the diaper 1 further includes a waste tape 10 arranged in the ventral region A or the dorsal region B so as to overlap the absorbent body 4 in a plan view. As used herein, the term "planar view" means a plan view of the diaper 1 in the expanded and extended form as viewed from the thickness direction Z. Further, the embodiment in which the waste tape 10 overlaps the absorbent main body 4 in a plan view includes a mode in which a part of the waste tape 10 overlaps the absorbent main body 4 in a plan view.
In the examples shown in these figures, the disposal tape 10 is arranged in the dorsal region B. The disposal tape 10 is fixed to the outer surface 5a of the exterior body 5 as described later.
Further, in the example shown in FIG. 2, the disposal tape 10 is arranged on the center line CL along the vertical direction X that bisects the diaper 1 in the horizontal direction Y.

The fixing portion 11 has, for example, a fixing portion sheet piece 14 including a first surface 14a and a second surface 14b, and a fixing portion adhesive portion 15 arranged on the second surface 14b.
The fixed portion sheet piece 14 is composed of a strip-shaped sheet piece extending in the vertical direction X. As the sheet piece 14 for the fixing portion, a stretchable or non-stretchable sheet can be used, and for example, a resin sheet (plastic sheet, film, etc.), a non-woven fabric, a woven fabric, or the like, which is known conventionally used. Can be used without particular limitation. Even when the sheet piece 14 for the fixing portion is stretchable, the stretchability is not exhibited because it is fixed to the outer surface 5a.
The fixing portion adhesive portion 15 fixes the fixing portion sheet piece 14 to the outer surface 5a. The waste tape 10 is non-detachably fixed to the outer surface 5a of the diaper 1 by the adhesive portion 15 for the fixing portion. The adhesive portion 15 for the fixing portion is formed by a known adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive.

The extending portion 12 has an extending portion sheet piece 16 including a first surface 16a and a second surface 16b, and an extending portion adhesive portion 17 arranged on the second surface 16b.
The stretchable sheet piece 16 is composed of a strip-shaped stretchable sheet piece extending in the vertical direction X. The extended portion sheet piece 16 may have the same size as the fixed portion sheet piece 14, or may have a different size.
The stretchable portion adhesive portion 17 is for peeling and joining the stretchable portion sheet piece 16 onto the first surface 14a of the fixing portion 11 in the laminated state of the above-mentioned waste tape 10. Therefore, it is preferable that the adhesive portion 17 for the extension portion is formed by a weakly adhesive adhesive.

The stretchable portion 12 is configured to be stretchable in the longitudinal direction X1 when a tensile force is applied to the waste tape 10. Specifically, the stress at the start of extension of the extension portion 12 is preferably 5.0 N or less, more preferably 3.0 N or less.
As the sheet piece 16 for such an stretchable portion, for example, an stretchable film can be used. Examples of the film include a single layer film and a multilayer film such as a coextruded film. Further, as the material constituting the stretchable film, a resin film formed by melting and extruding a polyolefin-based resin such as linear low-density polyethylene is preferable. Examples of the polyolefin resin include polypropylene homopolymers; polypropylene copolymers of polypropylene and polyethylene, block copolymers, random copolymers, random block copolymers and the like; blends of the polypropylene homopolymers and the polypropylene copolymers; high-density polyethylene, low. Polyethylene such as density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene; blends of the polyethylene with the polypropylene homopolymer and / or the polypropylene copolymer and the like, and these include olefin-based, polyester-based, polyamide-based, styrene-based and the like. Various thermoplastic elastomers may be blended and used. Further, in addition to the polyolefin resin, at least one material selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl chloride, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polyvinyl alcohol is also preferable.

The fastening portion 13 is configured to be able to be fastened to the outer surface 5a of the diaper 1 in a state where the disposal tape 10 is unfolded when the diaper 1 is discarded.
The fastening portion 13 has a fastening portion sheet piece 18 including a first surface 18a and a second surface 18b, and a fastening portion adhesive portion 19 arranged on the second surface 18b.
The sheet piece 18 for the fastening portion is composed of a strip-shaped non-stretchable sheet piece extending in the vertical direction X. The sheet piece 18 for the fastening portion may have the same size as the sheet piece 14 for the fixing portion or the sheet piece 16 for the extension portion, or may have a different size.
The adhesive portion 19 for the fastening portion is such that the fastening portion sheet piece 18 is detachably bonded to the first surface 16a of the extending portion 12 in the laminated state of the waste tape 10 described above, and the fastening portion 13 is attached. The diaper 1 is attached to an arbitrary position on the outer surface 5a of the diaper 1. It is preferable that the degree of adhesiveness of the adhesive portion 19 for the fastening portion is determined from such a viewpoint.

The fastening portion 13 is non-stretchable. By "non-stretchable" is meant that no extensibility is exhibited in the longitudinal direction X1 or the extensibility is very low as compared with the extensibility portion 12. Specifically, the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the fastening portion 13 is preferably 30 N or less, more preferably 25 N or less. As the sheet piece 18 for the fastening portion, for example, a conventionally used known sheet such as a resin sheet (plastic sheet, film, etc.), a non-woven fabric, or a woven fabric can be used without particular limitation. The method of measuring the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the fastening portion 13 will be described later.

Further, the waste tape 10 shown in FIG. 3 has a grip portion 20 joined to the upper end portion 13a of the fastening portion 13. The picking portion 20 is a portion for the discarder of the diaper 1 to grasp when the waste tape 10 is unfolded and stretched. The gripped portion 20 typically has no adhesiveness from the viewpoint of ease of gripping. The grip portion 20 is formed of, for example, a sheet piece that is connected to the second surface 18b of the fastening portion sheet piece 18 and is separate from the fastening portion sheet piece 18.

[Operation when disposing of diapers and disposal form of diapers]
A typical operation when disposing of the diaper 1 using the disposal tape 10 having the above configuration will be described.
First, as shown in FIG. 4, the used diaper 1 is placed in a state where the ventral region A and the dorsal region B are overlapped with the skin facing surface inside. At this time, the inseam region C is bent at the intermediate portion in the vertical direction X, and the opening ends 50 of the waist opening 1W of the ventral region A and the dorsal region B are overlapped. This form is also referred to as a "folded form" of the diaper 1. The side edges A1 and B1 of the ventral region A and the dorsal region B may or may not be separated.
Subsequently, the diaper 1 is rolled from the inseam region C toward the waist opening 1W so that the side on which the disposal tape 10 is not arranged (for example, the ventral region A) is on the inside. Then, the waist opening 1W on the side where the disposal tape 10 is arranged (for example, the dorsal side region B) is covered on the rolled outer surface 5a.

Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 5, the grip portion 20 of the disposal tape 10 is grasped with a finger and pulled in the longitudinal direction X1 of the disposal tape 10, and the disposal tape 10 is developed from a laminated state to a strip-shaped state. Let me. Further, by pulling the grip portion 20 in the longitudinal direction X1, the extension portion 12 starts to extend.
Subsequently, the stretched waste tape 10 is wrapped around the outer surface 5a of the rolled diaper 1. Then, the fastening portion 13 is fastened to an arbitrary position on the outer surface 5a of the diaper 1.
As a result, the disposal form of the diaper 1 as shown in FIG. 6 is formed.

In the present embodiment, the position of the waste tape 10 is defined as follows in relation to the leakage-proof cuff 6, so that the extension by the leakage-proof cuff 6 assists the extension of the disposal tape 10 during the above-mentioned disposal operation. However, the disposal operation can be performed more smoothly and reliably.

[Positional relationship between waste tape and leak-proof cuff]
As shown in the enlarged view of FIG. 7, the distance D1 along the vertical direction X between the lower end portion 11b of the fixing portion 11 of the waste tape 10 and the opening end 50 of the waist opening 1W is the cuff expansion / contraction portion. The distance D2 or more along the vertical direction X between the end portion 62a of 62 and the opening end 50. That is, at least a part of the fixed portion 11 is arranged so as to overlap the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 in the vertical direction X in a plan view. The distances D1 and D2 are the distances measured in the expanded / extended form as shown in FIGS. 2 and 7.
Further, the distance D1 is the distance D2 between the end portion 62a located on the ventral region A side and the opening end 50, or the distance between the end portion 62a located on the dorsal region B side and the opening end 50. Of D2, the smaller distance D2 or more may be used. In particular, from the viewpoint of effectively exerting the effects described later, the distance D1 is an end portion located on the dorsal region B or ventral region A side on which the disposal tape 10 is arranged, as shown in FIG. The distance D2 or more between 62a and the opening end 50 is preferable.

By arranging the waste tape 10 in this way, the distance between the lower end portion 11b of the fixing portion 11 and the end portion 62a of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 becomes close. As a result, when the disposal tape 10 is pulled for disposal of the diaper 1 (absorbent article), the tensile force easily acts on the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 of the leakage-proof cuff 6. That is, due to the tensile force, the waste tape 10 can be stretched, and the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 of the leakage-proof cuff 6 can be stretched. The cuff stretchable portion 62 can be formed of an easily stretchable elastic member such as a rubber thread. Therefore, with this configuration, the disposer of the diaper 1 (absorbent article) can feel that the disposal tape 10 is smoothly stretched with a small load.
Further, since the leak-proof cuff 6 is also stretched by the tensile force, the energy of the tensile force is consumed by the stretching of the leak-proof cuff 6, and it is possible to prevent the stretched portion 12 from being excessively stretched. Further, even if the discarder feels that the waste is easily stretched, it becomes difficult for the discarder to apply an excessive tensile force to the waste tape 10, and the excessive stretch of the stretched portion 12 is prevented. As a result, the risk of the stretched portion 12 being stretched until it is plastically deformed can be reduced, and the breakage of the waste tape 10 due to the decrease in strength is suppressed.
As described above, according to the diaper 1 (absorbent article) of the present embodiment, the extension of the leak-proof cuff 6 assists the extension of the extension portion 12, and the disposal tape 10 feels easy to extend and is for disposal. Breaking of the tape 10 is suppressed. As a result, the diaper 1 (absorbent article) can be smoothly disposed of by the disposal tape 10, and the disposal shape of the diaper 1 (absorbent article) can be reliably formed.

Further, since it is difficult for the disposer of the diaper 1 to apply an excessive tensile force to the disposal tape 10, the risk that the fixing portion 11 is detached from the outer surface 5a can be reduced. Further, along with this, it is possible to limit the amount of the adhesive used in the fixing portion adhesive portion 15 of the fixing portion 11, and it is also possible to suppress a feeling of strangeness when worn by the fixing portion 11.

Further, at the time of defecation or the like, after separating the side edge portions A1 and B1 of the ventral region A and the dorsal region B, the diaper 1 may be rolled up and discarded. In such a case, the tensile force applied to the waste tape 10 may act more directly on the region (dorsal region B or ventral region A) where the waste tape 10 is arranged. Therefore, when the distance D1 is equal to or greater than the distance D2 between the end portion 62a located in the dorsal region B or the ventral region A where the disposal tape 10 is arranged and the open end 50, the ventral region A. By separating the side edge portions A1 and B1 of the dorsal region B, the tensile force can be easily propagated by the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62. Therefore, the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 becomes easier to expand, and the above-mentioned action and effect can be obtained more reliably.

[Extension of cuff elastic part]
From the viewpoint of more reliably obtaining the effect of assisting the elongation of the waste tape 10 described above, the extensibility of the cuff elastic portion 62 is preferably defined in relation to the extensibility of the waste tape 10.

First, a mode in which a load in the longitudinal direction X1 is applied to the waste tape 10 will be described.
When a load in the longitudinal direction X1 is applied to the waste tape 10, the waste tape 10 having a laminated structure is first developed in a long shape. After that, the stretching portion 12 starts stretching at a predetermined stress (which is regarded as the first stress). Then, when the load in the longitudinal direction X1 is continuously applied to the waste tape 10, the extension portion 12 starts plastic deformation at a predetermined stress (referred to as a second stress) larger than the first stress. Further, when a load is continuously applied to the waste tape 10 in the longitudinal direction X1, the waste tape 10 breaks at a predetermined stress larger than the second stress. Alternatively, the fastening portion 13 may be plastically deformed at a predetermined stress larger than the second stress, and then the disposal tape 10 may be broken. Since the strength of the waste tape 10 decreases when it is plastically deformed, it is preferable that the waste tape 10 be wound around the rolled diaper 1 at the stage from the start of elongation to the start of plastic deformation.
In the present specification, the "stress at the start of stretching of the waste tape 10 (first stress)" means the stress at the start of stretching of the stretched portion 12, and the "start of plastic deformation of the waste tape 10". The “stress at time (second stress)” means the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the elongated portion 12.

Therefore, it is preferable that the stress at the start of extension of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 of the leak-proof cuff 6 is smaller than the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the waste tape 10 (second stress). As a result, the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 can start stretching at the stage where the waste tape 10 is elastically deformed before reaching plastic deformation. Therefore, before the plastic deformation of the waste tape 10, the energy of the tensile force from the waste is consumed by the elongation of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62, and it becomes easier for the waste to get a feeling of smooth expansion, and the waste tape 10 Plastic deformation is suppressed more effectively.

Further, it is preferable that the stress at the start of extension of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 of the leakage-proof cuff 6 is smaller than the stress at the start of extension of the waste tape 10 (first stress). Since the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 starts stretching before the waste tape 10 starts stretching, the load at the initial stage of the pulling operation of the waste tape 10 is felt lightly. As a result, the disposer of the diaper 1 can more reliably obtain the feeling that the disposal tape 10 is smoothly stretched with a small load in the initial stage of stretching.

[More detailed arrangement of fixed parts]
As shown in FIG. 3, it is preferable that at least a part of the fixing portion 11 is arranged on the joining region S where the exterior body 5 and the absorbent body 4 are joined. The aspect of "at least a part of the fixing portion 11 is arranged on the joining region S" includes an aspect in which at least a part of the fixing portion 11 is arranged on at least a part of the joining region S.
The joining region S means a region where the exterior body 5 and the constituent member (for example, the back surface sheet) on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorbent main body 4 are joined by a known joining method such as an adhesive or fusion. In the example shown in FIG. 3, in the bonding region S, the exterior body 5 and the absorbent main body 4 are bonded via an adhesive S1 such as a hot melt adhesive.
The joining region S may include, for example, a plurality of small regions having a planar shape such as a band shape, a linear shape, or a dot shape. These small regions may be arranged intermittently in a plane direction orthogonal to the thickness direction Z. In this case, it is preferable that at least a part of the fixing portion 11 is arranged on one or more of the small regions.

By arranging at least a part of the fixing portion 11 on the joint region S, the tensile force pulling the waste tape 10 is easily propagated to the absorbent main body 4 through the joint region S. As a result, the leakage-proof cuff 6 of the absorbent main body 4 becomes more easily stretched by the tensile force. Therefore, it becomes easier to obtain the effect that the elongation of the waste tape 10 is assisted by the elongation of the leakage-proof cuff 6.

Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the distance D3 along the vertical direction X between the lower end portion 11b of the fixed portion 11 and the end portion 62a of the cuff telescopic portion 62 is the dimension L in the vertical direction X of the fixed portion 11. It is preferably 50% or less of. The distance D3 is the difference between the distance D1 along the vertical direction X between the lower end portion 11b of the fixed portion 11 and the opening end 50 and the distance D2 between the end portion 62a of the cuff telescopic portion 62 and the opening end 50. Can be calculated as.
Further, the end portion 62a used for calculating the distance D3 is the end portion 62a located on the ventral side region A side or the end portion 62a located on the dorsal side region B side, whichever has the smaller distance D2. And.
As a result, the region on the upper end portion 11a side of the fixing portion 11 is located above the vertical direction X of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62. Therefore, the region on the upper end portion 11a side of the fixing portion 11 is less likely to be affected by the expansion and contraction of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62, and the bonding between the fixing portion 11 and the exterior body 5 becomes more stable.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 7, in the exterior body 5, leg elastic members 21 are arranged along the pair of leg openings 1L. The leg elastic member 21 includes one or more thread-shaped or band-shaped elastic members (for example, rubber thread). The leg elastic member 21 extends along the vertical direction X in the expanded / extended form as shown in FIGS. 2 and 7. "The leg elastic member 21 extends in the vertical direction X" means that the leg elastic member 21 extends in the vertical direction X upward from the vertical X intermediate portion of the inseam region C.
The upper end portion 21a of the leg elastic member 21 above the vertical direction X is the portion of the leg elastic member 21 located most above the vertical X in the expanded / extended form as shown in FIGS. 2 and 7. In the example shown in FIGS. 2 and 7, the upper end portion 21a is located at the side edge portions A1 and B1 of the ventral region A and the dorsal region B.

From the viewpoint of suppressing the influence of the extension of the leg elastic member 21 when the waste tape 10 is extended, the distance D1 along the vertical direction X between the lower end 11b of the fixing portion 11 and the opening end 50 is for the leg. It is preferably smaller than the distance D4 along the vertical direction X between the upper end 21a of the elastic member 21 and the opening end 50. That is, it is preferable that the lower end portion 11b of the fixed portion 11 is located above the upper end portion 21a in the vertical direction X.
As a result, the tensile force when stretching the waste tape 10 can be suppressed from acting on the leg elastic member 21, and the leg elastic member 21 is suppressed from being stretched by the tensile force. Therefore, with this configuration, it is possible to suppress a problem that the diaper 1 is stretched too much in the vertical direction X with the stretching of the waste tape 10 and is excessively shrunk when the tensile force is weakened.

(Measuring method of stress at the start of expansion and contraction of the leak-proof cuff)
The cuff forming sheet 61 of the leak-proof cuff 6 is in a state of being peeled off from the surface sheet 2 or the like of the absorbent main body 4. Subsequently, the longitudinal direction of the leak-proof cuff 6 is made to match the tensile direction, the distance between the chucks is set to 100 mm, and the leak-proof cuff 6 is used as a chuck of a tensile tester (for example, manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd., model "RTA-100"). Install. When attaching the leak-proof cuff 6 to the chuck, both ends of the cuff telescopic portion 62 are attached to the chuck. Next, the tensile load (stress) that changes with the tensile distance is measured by pulling at a speed of 300 mm / min.
Immediately after the measurement, the leakage-proof cuff 6 does not extend and the tensile distance increases until the leakage-proof cuff 6 is stretched in the longitudinal direction. Then, at some point, the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve changes, and the stress increases in proportion to the tensile distance. The stress at the point where the inclination first changes is defined as the stress (N) at the start of extension of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 of the leak-proof cuff 6.

(Measuring method of stress of waste tape)
The stretched portion 12 of the waste tape 10 is peeled off from the fixed portion 11 so as to be stretched in the longitudinal direction X1. Next, the longitudinal direction X1 of the extension portion 12 is aligned with the tension direction, the distance between the chucks is set to 30 mm, and the extension portion 12 is attached to the chuck of a tensile tester (for example, manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd., model “RTA-100”). When attaching the extension portion 12 to the chuck, avoid the joint portion with the fastening portion 13 and the joint portion with the fixing portion 11, and attach the joint portion between the two joint portions to the chuck. Next, the stress (tensile load) that changes with the tensile distance is measured by pulling at a speed of 300 mm / min.
Immediately after the measurement, the stretched portion 12 does not stretch and the tensile distance increases until the stretched portion 12 is stretched in the longitudinal direction X1. Then, at some point, the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve changes significantly, and the stress begins to increase in proportion to the elongation. The stress at the point where the slope first changes is defined as the first stress (N), which is the stress at the start of stretching of the waste tape 10 (stretching portion 12).
When the tensile distance is further increased after the extension portion 12 starts stretching, the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve becomes small at a certain point, and a point where the stress hardly changes with respect to the tension distance appears. The stress at the point where the inclination changes significantly after the start of stretching is defined as the second stress (N), which is the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the waste tape 10 (stretched portion 12). The second stress (N) can be the inflection of the stress (N) -elongation curve.
When the tensile distance is further increased after the stretched portion 12 starts plastic deformation, the stress becomes the maximum value at a certain point, and then the stretched portion 12 breaks.

(Measuring method of stress at the start of plastic deformation of the anchorage)
The fastening portion 13 of the waste tape 10 is peeled off from the extending portion 12 so as to be extended in the longitudinal direction X1. Next, the longitudinal direction X1 of the waste tape 10 is aligned with the tensile direction, the distance between the chucks is set to 30 mm, and the fastening portion 13 is attached to the chuck of a tensile tester (for example, manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd., model "RTA-100"). Install. When attaching the fastening portion 13 to the chuck, avoid the joint portion with the extension portion 12 and the joint portion with the knob portion described later, and attach the joint portion between the two joint portions to the chuck. Next, the stress (tensile load) that changes with the tensile distance is measured by pulling at a speed of 300 mm / min.
Immediately after the measurement, the fastening portion 13 does not extend and the tensile distance increases until the fastening portion 13 is stretched in the longitudinal direction. Then, at some point, the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve changes significantly, and the stress begins to increase in proportion to the elongation. The stress at the point where the inclination first changes is defined as the stress (N) at the start of extension when the fastening portion 13 starts extension.
When the tensile distance is further increased after the fastening portion 13 starts stretching, the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve becomes small at a certain point, and a point where the stress hardly changes with respect to the tensile distance appears. The stress at the point where the inclination changes significantly after the start of the elongation is defined as the stress (N) at the start of the plastic deformation of the fastening portion 13. The stress (N) at the start of plastic deformation of the fastening portion 13 can be an inflection point of the stress (N) -elongation curve.

(Specific examples of distances D1, D2, D3 and dimensions L)
The distance D1 along the vertical direction X between the lower end portion 11b of the fixed portion 11 and the open end 50 avoids the joint position of the fixed portion 11 from the configuration of the waist gather or the like, and the feeling of wearing due to the waste tape 10 is reduced. From the viewpoint of suppressing the above, it is preferably 65 mm or more, more preferably 70 mm or more, preferably 115 mm or less, and more preferably 110 mm or less.
The distance D2 along the vertical direction X between the end portion 62a of the cuff expansion / contraction portion 62 and the opening end 50 provides a good fit of the leakage-proof cuff 6 and the tensile force of the waste tape 10 is applied to the cuff expansion / contraction portion. From the viewpoint of effectively acting on 62, it is preferably 63 mm or more, more preferably 65 mm or more, preferably 113 mm or less, and more preferably 105 mm or less.

[Measurement of stress at the start of extension of the cuff expansion / contraction part]
Using the leak-proof cuffs of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the stress (N) at the start of extension of the cuff expansion / contraction portion was measured. First, the cuff-forming sheet of the leak-proof cuff was separated from the surface sheet of the absorbent body. Subsequently, the longitudinal direction of the leak-proof cuff is matched with the tensile direction, the distance between the chucks is set to 100 mm, and both ends of the leak-proof cuff are used as chucks of a tensile tester (manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd., model "RTA-100"). I installed it. Next, the leak-proof cuff was pulled at a speed of 300 mm / min, and the tensile load (stress) that changed with the tensile distance was measured.
As described above, the point at which the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve first changed significantly and the stress began to increase in almost proportional to the elongation was defined as the stress (N) at the start of elongation of the cuff expansion / contraction part. .. As a result, as shown in Table 1, in each of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the stress (N) at the start of extension of the cuff expansion / contraction portion was 0.02N.

[Measurement of stress at the start of stretching and plastic deformation of the waste tape]
The stretched portion of the waste tapes of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 was peeled off from the fixed portion, and the stretched portion was stretched in the longitudinal direction. Next, the longitudinal direction of the extended portion was made to match the tensile direction, the distance between the chucks was set to 30 mm, and the extended portion was attached to the chuck of a tensile tester (manufactured by Orientec Co., Ltd., model "RTA-100"). When the extended portion was attached to the chuck, the joint portion with the fastening portion and the joint portion with the fixed portion were avoided, and the space between the two joint portions was attached to the chuck. With the above tensile tester, the stretched portion was pulled at a speed of 300 mm / min, and the stress (load) changing with the tensile distance was measured.
As described above, the point at which the slope of the stress (N) -elongation curve first changed significantly and the stress began to increase in substantially proportional to the elongation was defined as the stress at the start of elongation of the waste tape. Further, the stress at the point where the inclination changed significantly from the time of elongation and the stress began to change in proportion to the elongation was defined as the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the waste tape.
As shown in Table 1, in each of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the stress at the start of elongation of the waste tape was 2N, and the stress at the start of plastic deformation was 8N.
That is, in the diapers of each Example and Comparative Example, the stress at the start of elongation of the cuff expansion / contraction portion was smaller than the stress at the start of plastic deformation of the waste tape and the stress at the start of elongation.

[Evaluation of the ease of elongation of waste tape]
160 g of ion-exchanged water was injected into the diapers obtained in Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Subsequently, 30 monitors were asked to wind up the diaper, roll it up, and fix it with waste tape. The ease of elongation of the waste tape at that time was evaluated and classified into the following criteria.
<Judgment criteria>
A: More than 80% of monitors answered that they are easy to expand.
B: Monitors with 50% or more and less than 80% answered that they are easy to grow.
C: Less than 50% of monitors answered that they are easy to stretch.

As shown in Table 1, the ease of elongation of the waste tape was evaluated as A in all of Examples 1 to 4, but evaluated as B in Comparative Example 1 and C in Comparative Example 2. From this result, it was found that the waste tapes of Examples 1 to 4 seemed to be more easily stretched than the waste tapes of Comparative Examples 1 and 2.

[Evaluation of breakage of waste tape]
160 g of ion-exchanged water was injected into the diapers obtained in Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Subsequently, 30 monitors were asked to wind up the diaper, roll it up, and fix it with waste tape. The percentage of the waste tape broken by the disposal operation at that time was calculated as the break ratio (%) of the waste tape.

As shown in Table 1, the breaking rate of the waste tape in the diapers of Examples 1 to 4 was 7% or less, but the breaking rate of the waste tape in the diapers of Comparative Examples 1 and 2 was 13. % And 20%. From this result, it was found that the disposal tapes of Examples 1 to 4 had less breakage during the disposal operation as compared with the disposal tapes of Comparative Examples 1 and 2.
