Abstract
Description
図1、図2、図3に示す本実施形態の電流センサ1は、車両Vに搭載されたバッテリBの充放電電流を計測するためのセンサである。バッテリBを含む車両Vの電源システムSにおいては、近年、車両Vの電装品の種類、数の増加等に伴ってバッテリBの消耗が相対的に増加する傾向にあり、このような傾向に対応すべく、当該バッテリBの状態をより適正に監視したいという要請がある。このような要請に対応すべく、電源システムSは、電流センサ1によってバッテリBの充放電電流を検出し、検出した電流(電流値)に基づいて、バッテリBの残存容量監視、バッテリBの消耗(劣化度合い)検出、オルタネータ等の発電機Gの動作制御による燃費向上処理等を行う。

Claims (3)
- 導電性を有し、バッテリの負極を構成するバッテリポストに締結されるバッテリ端子部と、
前記バッテリ端子部と接合部を介して導通接続され、電流検出用の第1検出端子及び第2検出端子を有するシャント抵抗とを備え、
前記バッテリ端子部は、前記接合部と前記バッテリポストとの間に、前記バッテリの電圧検出用の第3検出端子を有することを特徴とする、
電流センサ。 - 前記第1検出端子からの出力と前記第2検出端子からの出力とに応じて前記シャント抵抗に流れる電流を計測する電流検出部と、
前記第3検出端子からの出力と前記バッテリの陽極側からの出力とに応じて前記バッテリの電圧を計測する電圧検出部とを備える、
請求項1に記載の電流センサ。 - 前記第1検出端子からの出力と前記第2検出端子からの出力とに応じて計測される電流値と、前記第2検出端子からの出力と前記第3検出端子からの出力とに応じて計測される電流値から前記第1検出端子からの出力と前記第3検出端子からの出力とに応じて計測される電流値を減算した電流値とに基づいて、故障を判定する故障判定部を備える、
請求項1又は請求項2に記載の電流センサ。
