単一の剪断ウェブ120のみが例示的な実施形態では示されているが、追加の剪断ウェブが、本開示の範囲内で利用されてもよい。さらに、剪断ウェブ120は図3ではIビーム構造として示されているが、代替の剪断ウェブ構成、例えば、必要に応じて、一般にU字形又はV字形構造を有するスプリットビームが利用されてもよい。
本開示の別の態様によれば、スパーキャップ100と剪断ウェブ120の組立てを容易にするために、接着剤、例えばペーストを塗布及び誘導するためのガイドが設けられる。
本開示の別の態様によれば、スキン位置決めフィーチャをスパーキャップ形成プロセスに組み込むことができる。図7〜図8に示される例示的な実施形態では、スパーキャップは、ブレードスキンに係合できるようにするフィーチャとともに形成する、例えば、引抜成形することができる。例えば、スパーキャップは、ブレードスキンの相補的フィーチャを嵌合的に受け取るためのフィーチャ110を伴って形成することができる。限定ではなく説明の目的で、スキン位置決めフィーチャ110は、ブレードスキンに形成された相補的突起310を受け取るように構成された凹部として示されているが、これらのフィーチャのオス/メス構成は、必要に応じて、逆にすることができる。
本開示の別の態様によれば、位置決めフィーチャ202を含む当て板200を利用することができる。図9に示される例示的な実施形態では、当て板位置決めフィーチャ202が、スパーキャップ位置決めフィーチャ102に係合する。実施形態によっては、当て板位置決めフィーチャ202は、後続の組立てプロセス中に当て板及びスパーキャップを係合したままにするために、解放可能な接続、例えば、ねじ又はピンを含むことができる。例えば、当て板位置決めフィーチャ202は、スパーキャップ位置決めフィーチャ102に係合することができ、その結果、当て板は、強制移動/変位を制限され、それによって、当て板200が、注入プロセスの間、存在し、確実に係合されたままであることを可能にする。
