Claims (21)
- 使用者の体の上に位置付けられる、送信(TX)および受信(RX)アンテナ対の配列を備える、超広帯域(UWB)センサーを介して送信される、連続するUWBパルスに対する、反射後方散乱データのセットと、前記UWBセンサーの中のキャリブレーションチャネルからの対応するキャリブレーション測定値とを収集することと、
前記反射後方散乱データのセットに基づいて、各組織界面に対する反射係数を決定することであって、前記反射係数は、その連続するUWBパルスに対する前記反射後方散乱データ、および前記対応するキャリブレーション測定値に基づく、反射曲線から決定され、前記反射曲線は、前記UWBセンサーと肺組織との間にある、前記体の中の組織層のモデルと関連付けられることと、
前記反射係数に基づいて、前記肺組織の体液レベル容量を決定することと、
を含む、身体的特徴を決定するための方法。 - 前記反射後方散乱データのセットが、反射後方散乱データの各セットに対して、広帯域ビーム形成信号を生成するように組み合わせられる前記UWBセンサーの中の、前記TXおよびRXアンテナ対の各々に対して取得される、反射後方散乱データを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記反射曲線が、前記対応するキャリブレーション測定値に基づく、補正UWBパルス波形を使用して、その反射後方散乱データのセットの前記広帯域ビーム形成信号のスパースデコンボリューションに基づいて決定される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記広帯域ビーム形成信号の前記スパースデコンボリューションが、K個の周波数帯の各々に対して実施される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記反射係数に基づいて、前記肺組織の呼吸サイクルの中の頂点、中間点、および底点で、肺組織界面の深さを特定することを含み、
前記肺組織の前記体液レベル容量を決定することが、前記呼吸サイクルの中の前記頂点、中間点、および底点での体液レベル容量を決定することを含む、

- 前記組織層の前記特徴が、少なくとも一つの組織層界面の場所、または少なくとも一つの組織層の誘電特性を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 送信(TX)および受信(RX)アンテナの対を含むアンテナの配列と、キャリブレーションチャネルとを備える、超広帯域(UWB)センサーであって、使用者の体の上に位置付けられるように構成される、UWBセンサーと、
前記アンテナの配列のうちの前記TXアンテナへ連結されるUWBパルス発生器と、前記アンテナの配列のうちの前記RXアンテナへ連結されるUWB受信機とを備える、無線周波数(RF)フロントエンドであって、前記UWBパルス発生器によって生成されるUWBパルスが、前記TXアンテナを介して前記使用者の前記体の中へ順次送信され、反射後方散乱信号が、そのTXおよびRXアンテナの対のうちの前記RXアンテナを介して受信される、無線周波数(RF)フロントエンドと、
前記反射後方散乱と関連付けられるデータと、前記キャリブレーションチャネルからの対応するキャリブレーション測定値とを伝達するように構成される、無線送信機と、
前記データを受信し、前記反射後方散乱および対応するキャリブレーション測定に基づいて、前記使用者の身体的特徴を決定するように構成される、計算デバイスと、
を備える、携帯型身体監視システム。 - 前記計算デバイスが、
前記連続して送信されるUWBパルスに対する、前記反射後方散乱と関連付けられる前記データと、前記対応するキャリブレーション測定値とに基づいて、反射曲線を決定し、前記反射曲線が、前記UWBセンサーと標的組織との間で前記体の中にある組織層のモデルと関連付けられ、
前記反射曲線に基づいて、反射係数を決定し、
生成された前記標的組織のデータから、前記標的組織の特徴を決定する、
ように構成される、請求項8に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。 - 前記標的組織の前記特徴が、前記標的組織との界面の深さ、または前記標的組織の誘電特性を含む、請求項9に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記標的組織が肺組織である、請求項10に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記計算デバイスが、前記肺組織の前記特徴に基づいて、肺液量の尺度を特定するように構成される、請求項11に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記計算デバイスが、心拍、心拍変動、呼吸数、または一回換気量のうちの一つ以上を同時に特定するように構成される、請求項12に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記計算デバイスが、前記肺組織の呼吸サイクル中の、肺組織界面の上下深さを特定するように構成される、請求項11に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記計算デバイスが、前記肺組織の前記呼吸サイクルにおける、前記上下深さおよび平均深さでの誘電特性を特定するように構成される、請求項14に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 反射曲線は、前記連続するUWBパルスに対する前記反射後方散乱と関連付けられる前記データに基づいて、平均化された広帯域後方散乱信号のスパースデコンボリューションによって決定される、請求項9〜15のいずれかに記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記計算デバイスが、一連の反射後方散乱データセットの各々に対して、反射曲線を決定するように構成され、前記反射後方散乱データセットの各々が、そのセットと関連付けられる前記連続して送信されるUWBパルスに対する、前記反射後方散乱と関連付けられるデータを含む、請求項9〜15のいずれかに記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記キャリブレーションチャネルが、前記アンテナの配列に隣接して位置付けられる、既知のインピーダンスの負荷を有する、温度キャリブレーションループを含む、請求項8〜15のいずれかに記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記送信されるUWBパルスの変動は、前記対応するキャリブレーション測定値に基づいて補正される、請求項18に記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記計算デバイスへの送信のために、前記反射後方散乱信号および前記対応するキャリブレーション測定値を取得し処理するように構成される、デジタル信号処理(DSP)回路を含む、請求項8〜19のいずれかに記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
- 前記UWBパルスが、毎秒約10,000の速度で前記体の中へ送信される、請求項8〜19のいずれかに記載の携帯型身体監視システム。
