Description
本出願は、2018年6月22日米国に出願された「組織治療のためのマルチレンズアレイ(Multi−Lens Array For Tissue Treatment)」と題する米国仮出願第62/688,862号、2018年6月22日に出願された「治療装置に対する色素検出(Pigment Detection for a Therapeutic Device)」と題する米国仮出願第62/688,940号、2018年6月22日に出願された「EMRベースの組織治療のための回折光学(Diffractive Optics for EMR−Based Tissue Treatment)」と題する米国仮出願第62/688,913号、2018年6月22日に出願された「組織治療のための選択的プラズマ生成(Selective Plasma Generation for Tissue Treatment)」と題する米国仮出願第62/688,855号の利点を主張する。これらの各出願の全体が参照として含まれる。
色素沈着症状及び非色素沈着症状などの特定の皮膚状態の治療に望ましい波長の決定は、例えば皮膚に存在する様々な競合する発色団(例えば、発色団、ヘモグロビン、タトゥーのインクなど)の波長依存吸収係数に依存することができる。図3Aは、メラニンの例示的な吸光度スペクトルのグラフである。メラニンによるEMRの吸収は、約350nmの波長でピーク値に到達した後、波長の増加とともに減少することが観察されている。メラニンによるEMRの吸収は、メラニン含有領域130の加熱及び/又は破壊を促進するが、非常に高いメラニン吸光度は、表皮110における色素による高い吸収をもたらし、EMRの真皮120又は表皮110への浸透を低減させることができる。図3Aに示すように、メラニン吸収は、約500nm未満のEMR波長で相対的に高い。従って、約500nm未満の波長は、真皮120内に十分に浸透して、その内部の着色領域130を加熱及び損傷させたり破壊したりするのに適していない可能性がある。より小さい波長でのそのような増強され吸収は、表皮110及び真皮120の上部(表層)部分に望まない損傷をもたらす可能性があり、吸収されていないEMRが組織を通過して真皮120のより深い部分に入ることは相対的に少ない。
いくつかの実施形態では、入力レーザビームの反復速度は、標的組織/標的物質内のプラズマの崩壊速度よりも速いことがある。これは、連続的な(例えば、一時的に連続的、空間的に連続的など)プラズマの生成を可能にすることができる。レーザビームの反復速度を変更することにより、治療領域/標的領域(例えば、プラズマが生成される領域)の領域を制御することができる。
Claims (17)
- 光学システムであって、
光学素子のアレイであって、複数のサブビームを標的組織の複数の焦点領域に同時に集束させるように構成された複数の光学素子を含み、1次レーザビームを受光して前記複数のサブビームを生成するように構成された光学素子のアレイ、
を含み、
前記光学素子のアレイのピッチは、約1mmから約3mmの範囲であり、
前記複数の光学素子のうちの1つ以上の光学素子の開口数は、約0.3から約1の範囲であり、
前記複数のサブビームの第1サブビームは、前記複数の焦点領域の第1焦点領域にプラズマを生成するように構成される、光学システム。 - 前記複数の光学素子は、複数の切断レンズを含む請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記複数の光学素子の幅は、約1mmから約3mmの範囲である、請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記複数の切断レンズは、六角形アレイ及び長方形アレイのうちの少なくとも1つに配置される、請求項2に記載の光学システム。
