Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年4月9日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/654,647号の米国特許法第119条(e)下の優先権の利益を主張し、本出願の開示全体は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本開示は:少なくとも1つの第4級アンモニウム化合物を含む抗菌成分と;少なくとも1つのカチオン性モノマーAb、任意選択的に少なくとも1つのアニオン性モノマーBa、及び任意選択的に少なくとも1つのノニオン性モノマーCaを含む合成ポリマーと;有機酸と;カチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択される界面活性剤と、を含む硬質表面処理組成物であって、組成物が、ノニオン性界面活性剤を含まない組成物を提供する。残留抗菌作用を表面に提供する方法であって、本開示の組成物を表面に適用する工程を含む、方法もまた提示される。本開示はまた、残留抗菌作用を有する基材であって、基材の少なくとも一部分が、本開示の組成物でコーティングされる基材を含む、基材を提供する。
本開示は、処理された表面により長期間持続する殺菌を提供し、ノニオン性界面活性剤を含まない組成物に関する。本組成物は、繰り返し処理を必要とすることなく、12〜24時間で少なくとも95%以上の微生物(例えば、細菌、ウィルス、又は真菌)の死滅(例えば、99.9%死滅)を達成する。米国環境保護庁(EPA)による24時間の長期消毒要求を立証するために、残留自己消毒(RSS)法、EPAプロトコル#01−1A(https://www.epa.gov/sites/production/files/2015−09/documents/cloroxpcol_final.pdf)で、組成物を評価する。長期間の殺菌を検証するために、既存の全ての試験プロトコルは、再適用前に予想される接触及び拭き取りにより、典型的には、24時間の再汚染及び摩耗の最大量をエミュレートする。本明細書では、表面へのおよそ半分のレベルの摩耗及び再汚れ付着の課題を伴う中間プロトコルが、「RSS−12h」試験プロトコルとして提示される。

7.トリメチルアンモニウムエチル(メタ)アクリレートクロリド、トリメチルアンモニウムエチル(メタ)アクリレートメチルサルフェート、ジメチルアンモニウムエチル(メタ)アクリレートベンジルクロリド、4−ベンゾイルベンジルジメチルアンモニウムエチルアクリレートクロリド、トリメチルアンモニウムエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド(2−(アクリルオキシ)エチルトリメチルアンモニウム、TMAEAMSとも呼ばれる)クロリド、トリメチルアンモニウムエチル(メタ)アクリレート(2−アクリルオキシ)エチルトリメチルアンモニウム、TMAEAMSとも呼ばれる)メチルサルフェート、トリメチルアンモニウムプロピル(メタ)アクリルアミドクロリド、ビニルベンジルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド、

配合物A〜F(表1)から調製されたフィルムを、上記のようなRSS−12hプロトコル、変更バージョンの残留自己消毒(RSS)法、EPAプロトコル#01−1Aを用いて評価した。全てのフィルムを150マイクロリットルの配合物を(1×1)インチのスチール基材上にピペット分注することにより調製し、空気乾燥させた。
殺菌剤組成物Dは、処理量を減らしても、>3LRである点でかなり堅牢であるように見える。これを更に適合して、他の全ての成分を配合物Dのとおりに一定に保ちながら、殺生物剤「quat」の総濃度を減らした(表2)。総「quat」は、第4級アンモニウム化合物(1)及び(2)のppmの合計である。これにより、より環境適合性であるプロファイルが可能となると同時に、規制の観点から「quat」の濃度を減らす必要がある特定の用途に組成物を拡張できるようになる。全てのフィルムを150マイクロリットルの配合物を(1×1)インチのスチール基材上にピペット分注することにより調製し、空気乾燥させた。これらの適合組成物(表2で示されるG、H、I)を、エンテロバクター・アエロゲネス(Enterobacter aerogenes)を使用してスチール基材上で試験し、3.76LRでRSS−12プロトコルに合格した。
次いで、24時間の要求について6交互摩耗サイクル(各々湿潤及び乾燥)で、(EPA)プロトコル#01−1A残留自己消毒活性試験により、組成物Dを更に評価した。この試験は、RSS−12よりもより強力で、2倍の数の湿潤及び乾燥の摩耗があり、また、RSS−12の3回ではなく、5回の再接種が必要である。%相対湿度(%RH)が(45〜55)%の試験範囲内であるように注意する必要がある。まず、エンテロバクター・アエロゲネス(Enterobacter aerogenes)を使用して(1×1)スチール基材上で100マイクロリットルの配合物Dを用いて評価した場合、3.97LRが達成され、スタフィロコッカス・アウレウス(Staphylococcus Aureus)では3.86LRが達成され(表3)、RSS−24についての合格を示した。S.アウレウス(S.aureus)を用いた試験のために、25〜100マイクロリットルの分注された異なる容量の配合物について試験を繰り返した。表3における結果は、配合物Dが、24時間の殺菌を提供し、S.アウレウス(S.aureus)で25マイクロリットルという少量についてRSS−24に合格した。
別の実施形態では、適用前に水と混合して希釈し、湿った布又は他の同様の方法で表面に噴霧又は拭き取られ得る濃縮物を提供することが、いくつかの用途では望ましい。これらの濃縮物は、希釈状態で適用されたときに残留自己消毒を提供しながら、高い希釈係数で透明且つ相安定でなければならない。
Claims (17)
- a.少なくとも1つの第4級アンモニウム化合物を含む抗菌成分と;
b.
i.少なくとも1つのカチオン性モノマーAb、
ii.任意選択的に、少なくとも1つのアニオン性モノマーBa、及び
iii.任意選択的に、少なくとも1つのノニオン性モノマーCa
を含む合成ポリマーと;
c.有機酸と;
d.カチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される界面活性剤と
を含む硬質表面処理組成物であって、
前記組成物が、ノニオン性界面活性剤を含まない組成物。 - 前記組成物から形成されるフィルムが、RSS−12hによる少なくとも3摩耗サイクルに関して、少なくとも95%の微生物を死滅させる、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記抗菌成分が、モノアルキルジメチルベンジルアンモニウム塩、ジアルキルジメチルアンモニウム塩、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記モノマーAbが、ジアリルジメチルアンモニウムハライドからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリマーが、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるモノマーBaを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリマーが、2−(ジメチルアミノ)エチルメタクリレート(DMAEMA);N−ビニルピロリドン(NVP);N−ビニルイミダゾール;アクリルアミド;メタクリルアミド;及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるモノマーCaを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。

- 前記組成物から形成されるフィルムが、環境保護庁(EPA)プロトコル#01−1A残留自己消毒活性試験に従って、少なくとも95%のグラム陽性菌及びグラム陰性菌、又はエンベロープウィルス及びノンエンベロープウィルスを死滅させる、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- a.少なくとも1つの、800ppm〜約40,000ppmの範囲の量の第4級アンモニウム化合物を含む抗菌成分と;
b.
i.少なくとも1つのカチオン性モノマーAb、
ii.任意選択的に、少なくとも1つのアニオン性モノマーBa、及び
iii.任意選択的に、少なくとも1つのノニオン性モノマーCa
を含む約800ppm〜約30,000ppmの範囲の量の合成ポリマーと;
c.約1,000ppm〜約35,000ppmの範囲の量の有機酸と;
d.カチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、約2,000ppm〜約90,000ppmの範囲の量の界面活性剤と
を含む硬質表面処理濃縮組成物であって、
