Description

The present invention relates to an excretion or flatulence detector that detects excretion or flatulence of a person to be cared for or an infant or the like, and in particular, can be easily attached to and detached from clothes, diapers, etc. of the person to be detected by excretion or flatulence. Concerning portable type excretion or flatulence detectors that can be performed.

There is a detection device that detects the presence or absence of excretion in the diaper with a sensor. For example, there is an excretion confirmation device described in Patent Document 1. This excretion confirmation device is attached to the outer surface that does not come into contact with the excrement of the absorbent article, and detects the impedance change between the pair of electrodes formed side by side slightly apart from one surface of the hard substrate by the sensor means. The presence or absence of excretion in the absorbent article is confirmed based on the change in frequency according to the change in impedance between the pair of electrodes detected by the sensor means.
On the other hand, in recent years, ultra-small sensors have been developed. For example, a gas sensor having a MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) structure in which a metal oxide semiconductor film and a heater are provided on a bridge or diaphragm provided on a cavity of a Si substrate has been developed (Patent Document 2). .. Such a MEMS type gas sensor is not inferior in performance to the conventional gas sensor, and moreover, it is smaller and consumes less power than the conventional gas sensor.

In the above-mentioned detection device for detecting excretion, the excretion detection sensor is used by attaching it to an absorbent article such as a diaper or a urine absorbing pad of a person to be detected for excretion such as a care recipient or an infant. It is troublesome to install the sensor at two places, the position corresponding to the urination point and the position corresponding to the defecation point on the outer surface of the. In particular, if you have to change diapers many times a day, you have to determine the position corresponding to each point by eye measurement or measurement and attach the sensor every time you change diapers, which is very troublesome. It takes.
The present invention is to provide a small and portable excretion or flatulence detector that can be easily attached to and detached from clothes, diapers, etc. of a person subject to excretion or flatulence detection.

FIG. (F) is a right side view. 3 and 4 are block diagrams showing the configuration of the excretion or flatulence detector, and FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram regarding the outline of the gas sensor element and the CPU board and the outline of communication between the excretion or flatulence detector and other devices. FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram regarding an outline of a CPU board included in an excretion or flatulence detector.

The excretion or flatulence detector 10 of the present embodiment is generated from excretion or flatulence in a housing 11 having a vertical size of 60 mm or less, a horizontal size of 30 mm or less, and a thickness direction size of 10 mm or less. A communication means for transmitting the gas sensor element 12 for detecting gas and the excretion or flatulence information based on the detection signal detected by the gas sensor element 12 to another device 20 together with the unique identification information for identifying the excretion or flatulence detector 10. A hook 14 is provided outside the housing 11 as a means for attaching / detaching the excretion or flatulence detector 10 to a person to be detected. The housing 11 is configured with a gas sensor element 12 provided with a gas introduction hole 15 for introducing gas generated from excrement or flatulence from the outside of the housing 11.

The housing 11 of the excretion or flatulence detector 10 is made of an insulating material such as resin. The housing 11 includes a gas sensor element 12 and a CPU board 16 including a communication means 13. Further, the housing 11 is provided with a gas introduction hole 15 for introducing gas from the outside of the housing 11 into the gas sensor element 12.

The gas sensor element 12 uses an ultra-small sensor element. For example, a commercially available gas sensor element having a size of about several mm and formed by a MEMS structure is used. For example, a MEMS type semiconductor gas sensor TGS8100 (Figaro Giken) is used.
Further, the size of the CPU board 16 on each side is about several mm to several ten and several mm.
With such an ultra-small gas sensor element 12 and a CPU board 16, the size of the housing 11 can be reduced.

The excretion or flatulence detector 10 in the present embodiment is provided with a plurality of gas introduction holes 15, and holds the excrement (feces, urine) or the gas generated from the intestinal gas released to the outside of the body. Introduce into body 11. The area of each gas introduction hole 15 is about 3 mm ^ 2 to 6 mm ^ 2, respectively. In this embodiment, a plurality of gas introduction holes 15 are provided, but if there is no adverse effect such as noise on the output value of the detection signal by the gas sensor element 12, one large gas introduction hole 15 is provided in the central portion. May be good.

ブルートゥース(登録商標)による近距離無線通信回線、LPWA(Low Power Wide Area)による省電力広域回線、3G/4G/5Gなどのセルラー回線、無線LAN(Local Area Network)回線、NFC(Near Field Communication)超近距離無線通信回線等が通信手段の一例である。 The excretion or flatulence detector 10 can wirelessly communicate with the other device 20. The other device 20 is, for example, a mobile phone carried by a caregiver or a caregiver, a smartphone, a mobile tablet, a computer installed inside or outside the care center, or the like. There are no restrictions on the means of communication with the other device 20. Short-range wireless communication line by Bluetooth (registered trademark), power-saving wide area line by LPWA (Low Power Wide Area), cellular line such as 3G / 4G / 5G, wireless LAN (Local Area Network) line, NFC (Near Field Communication) An ultra-short-range wireless communication line or the like is an example of communication means.

The excretion or flatulence detector 10 has a CPU board 16. The CPU board 16 is a control means 17 composed of a CPU having a calculation function, a working RAM, a ROM for storing various data and programs, and a unique identification number or a unique identification number assigned to each excretion or release detector 10. A signal receiving means 19 as an input interface including a storage means 18 for storing identification information peculiar to the excretion or release detector 10 such as an identification code, an amplification unit, an A / D conversion unit, and the like, and inputting a detection signal from the gas sensor element 12. For example, the communication means 13 for transmitting the excretion or release information to the other device 20 via the various communication lines described above is provided. The components are connected to each other via a bus.

The control means 17 determines the presence or absence of excretion or flatulence based on the excretion or flatulence detection program stored in the ROM or the like based on the detection signal from the gas sensor element 12. Then, when there is excretion or flatulence, the excretion or flatulence information for notifying that there is excretion or flatulence is generated. Then, the generated excretion or flatulence information is transmitted to the other device 20 via the communication means 13. At this time, the control means 17 transmits the excretion or flatulence information to the other device 20 together with the identification information stored in the storage means 18.

For example, when the caregiver in the care facility is the detection target person, all the caregivers wear the excretion or flatulence detector 10 respectively. The excretion or flatulence detector 10 is provided with unique identification information for identifying each excretion or flatulence detector 10, which is different identification information for each excretion or flatulence detector 10. Then, when the caregiver wears the excretion or release detector 10, the caregiver information showing information about the caregiver (for example, name, gender, room number, etc.) and the identification information of the excretion or release detector 10 to be worn are used. Is associated and stored in the caregiver information storage means (not shown). The caregiver information storage means is provided, for example, in another computer or server (not shown), an external storage medium, or the like. The other device 20 is configured to be accessible to the caregiver information storage means. Further, the caregiver information storage means may be provided in the other device 20.

Due to such a configuration, when the other device 20 receives the excretion or flatulence information, it refers to the caregiver information storage means and is based on the caregiver information associated with the identification information received together with the excretion or flatulence information. Therefore, it is possible to determine which excretion or flatulence detector 10 is the excretion or flatulence information, that is, which caregiver is the excretion or flatulence information.

The excretion or flatulence detection program executed by the control means 17 may use a conventionally known excretion or flatulence detection program. For example, an excretion determination threshold is provided, and when the detection signal received from the gas sensor element 12 is within a predetermined first threshold range, it is determined that there is urination, and excretion or flatulence information indicating urination is generated, and the detection signal is predetermined. If it is within the second threshold range, it is determined that there is defecation, and excretion or flatulence information indicating defecation is generated. Alternatively, when the detection signal is within a predetermined third threshold range, it is determined that there is flatulence, and excretion or flatulence information indicating flatulence is generated. Further, the presence or absence of excretion or flatulence may be determined according to the change in the signal strength of the detection signal received from the gas sensor element 12. Further, the excretion detection method described in Japanese Patent No. 6184631 by the applicant of the present application may be used.

FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of a usage state of the excretion or flatulence detector 10.
The detection target is, for example, a care recipient, an infant, or the like. The excretion or flatulence detector 10 is used by hooking a hook 14 provided on the outside of the housing 11 on clothes such as trousers worn by a detection target person. Then, the gas generated from the excrement (feces, urine) or flatulence of the detection target person is taken into the inside of the housing 11 through the gas introduction hole 15, and is detected by the gas sensor element 12.
The housing 11 of the excretion or flatulence detector 10 has a vertical size of 60 mm or less, a horizontal size of 30 mm or less, and a thickness direction size of 10 mm, and is very small. Therefore, even when wearing it, there is almost no feeling of foreign matter. Further, since it can be attached only by hooking the hook 14, it is possible to easily attach / detach the excretion or flatulence detector 10 when changing clothes.

In the above-described embodiment, an example is described in which a hook 14 is provided as a means for attaching / detaching the hook 14 by hooking it on clothes such as trousers worn by a detection target person. Next, an example in which an adhesive tape or a hook-and-loop fastener 30 for being attached to an absorbent article or clothing worn by the detection target person will be described as the attachment / detachment means.
FIG. 6 is a schematic external view of the excretion or flatulence detector according to another example, FIG. 7 is a schematic rear view of the excretion or flatulence detector according to another example, and FIG. 8 is a usage state of the excretion or flatulence detector according to another example. It is explanatory drawing which shows an example.

As shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the excretion or flatulence detector 50 according to another example has different shapes of the housing 11 and the gas introduction hole 15 from the excretion or flatulence detector 10 (FIG. 1) of the above-described embodiment. .. The excretion or flatulence detector 50 is further miniaturized as compared with the excretion or flatulence detector 10, and the size of the housing 11 is 30 mm or less in the vertical direction, 15 mm or less in the horizontal direction, and the thickness direction. The size is 10 mm or less. As shown in FIG. 7, the excretion or flatulence detector 50 is provided with an adhesive tape or a hook-and-loop fastener 30 on the back surface of the housing 11 for being attached to an absorbent article or clothing worn by a detection target person. The configuration and function of the CPU board 16 including the gas sensor element 12, the gas introduction hole 15, the communication means 13, the control means 17, the storage means 18, and the signal receiving means 19 included in the excretion or flatulence detector 50 are the above-described embodiments. Since it is the same as the above, the description thereof will be omitted.

FIG. 8 is an example of use in the case where the excretion or flatulence detector 50 is attached to the diaper by the adhesive tape provided on the housing 11.
When the housing 11 is provided with a hook-and-loop fastener and the excretion or release detector 50 is attached to clothing (for example, trousers) by the hook-and-loop fastener, the housing 11 is composed of either male or female hook-and-loop fastener, and the detection target person has a hook-and-loop fastener. A pair of male and female hook-and-loop fasteners are sewn or attached to the side of the garment. The clothing itself may be made of the other hook-and-loop fastener material.

In particular, a female hook-and-loop fastener consisting of a large number of loops is softer and softer than a male fastener consisting of a large number of key-like bodies, and is therefore suitable for wearing on clothes. Therefore, it is preferable to provide a female hook-and-loop fastener on the side of the clothes. When the female hook-and-loop fastener material is provided on the clothes, the housing 11 is provided with a pair of male hook-and-loop fasteners.

As described above, according to the excretion or flatulence detectors 10 and 50, the gas sensor element is contained in the housing 11 having a vertical size of 60 mm or less, a horizontal size of 30 mm or less, and a thickness direction size of 10 mm or less. A communication means 13 for transmitting excretion or flatulence information based on a detection signal to another device 20, and a hook 14 or an adhesive tape or a surface fastener 30 as an attachment / detachment means outside the housing 11 and excretion. Since the housing 11 is provided with a gas introduction hole 15 for introducing gas generated from an object or flatulence, it is easy to put on and take off the clothes, diapers, etc. of the person subject to excretion or flatulence detection while maintaining the performance of excretion or flatulence detection. It is possible to realize a small and portable excretion or flatulence detector.

The scope of application of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment.
