本発明の発明者らは、鋭意研究を行った結果、シート１プライ当たりの坪量、紙厚、ボリューム感、しっとり感、滑らかさ、柔らかさ、しっかり感を調整した、薬液の塗布された、２プライのシートからなるローションティッシュペーパーを課題として、本発明者は以下のものを提供することで解決できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

木材パルプとして、表１及び表２に示すパルプ組成（質量％）の、ＮＢＫＰとＬＢＫＰから、表１及び表２に示す特性を有する原紙を抄紙して第一次原反ロールを得た。次に、第一次原反ロールをマシンワインダーに２本セットし、カレンダー処理を施し、２プライ積層することで第二次原反ロールを得た。次に、第二次原反ロールに対して、表１及び表２に示すローション薬液をフレキソ塗布装置にてオフライン塗布して第三次原反ロールを得た後、特許第５９３３３８４号公報に記載された保管装置で表１及び表２に示す期間保管し、マルチスタンド式インターフォルダ加工機にて、ローションティッシュペーパーの積層体を形成した。なお、表１及び表２中、多価アルコールはグリセリンであり、油性成分は、アミノ変性シリコーン油とシアバターの混合物である。得られたローションティッシュペーパーについて、ＴＳ７、ＴＳ７５０、Ｄ、紙中の油性成分の含有量、紙中の薬剤含有量を計測するとともに、使用感、ボリューム感、しっとり感、柔らかさ、滑らかさ、しっかり感、加工適性（断紙の発生頻度）、製品シワ発生頻度について５段階評価を行った。
