前記製剤Aをイオン交換水で2倍希釈し、クロチアニジンを0.075重量%含有する希釈製剤を作成した。
該害虫防除用組成物を市販のトリガースプレー容器に充填しトリガー(キャニヨン製、型式TS800−1)を取り付け、比較用スプレーを作成した(以下、参考スプレー2と称す)。

〔モモアカアブラムシに対する防除効果確認〕
スプレーノズルの噴射パターンをSPRAYにして、噴射孔がAdvantec製No.6ろ紙を2枚敷いたペトリディッシュ(東洋濾紙(株) ADVANTEC 品番PD−47A φ50×高さ11mm)の中心域方向となるよう位置調整し、該ろ紙から15cmm離して、害虫防除用組成物が該ろ紙に約0.35ml付着するように噴霧塗布した。
かかる害虫防除用組成物が噴霧塗布されたろ紙上にモモアカアブラムシ成虫1頭を放虫し、ガラスカップ(φ3cm×高さ20mm)を被せた。
前記モモアカアブラムシが該ガラスカップの壁面を這い上がる都度、ガラスカップの壁面を叩いてモモアカアブラムシをろ紙上に落下させながら、行動停止に至るまでの時間を求めた。なお、モモアカアブラムシが10秒間動かず、さらにモモアカアブラムシを針で刺激しても反応がない状態を行動停止とした。
上記試験を5反復し、行動停止に要した平均の時間を算出した。表3に結果を示す。

The above test was repeated 5 times, and the average time required for behavioral arrest was calculated. The results are shown in Table 3.

屋内害虫の徘徊地域に噴霧塗付して使用されるクロチアニジンおよびセルロースナノファイバーを含む害虫防除用組成物であって、該セルロールナノファイバーの含有量が当該害虫防除用組成物全体量に対し0.04〜0.2重量%であることを特徴とする害虫防除用スプレー。
