Abstract
Description
The present invention provides a blind connector for information transmission, which is interposed between a receptacle on the device side and a connector for an information transmission cable connected to the receptacle, and a temporary holder for an information transmission cable connector using the blind connector, in detail. Has a sufficient shielding ability on the signal transmission path when it is installed, and when reconnecting, it is possible to connect to the original terminal by simply removing the information transmission blind connector. Regarding the temporary holder of the information transmission cable connector that was there.
The connection between the information transmission cable connector and the receptacle needs to be disconnected from the cable connector and the receptacle during the inspection work for the purpose of promptly performing the inspection after its installation.
However, this connector portion, particularly the connector portion of the optical cable, is extremely sensitive to contamination by dust and damage by physical external force, and it is necessary to protect this from contamination and damage during work.
On the other hand, it is an absolute requirement to reconnect the cable connector, which was disconnected during the work, to the receptacle at the exact same position, and it is an unmistakable work.
Patent Document 1 describes a connector structure having a shutter structure inside the connector portion and the inside being protected by the shutter when not connected.
Patent Document 2 describes a structure having a shutter on the plug insertion port side into which the connector is inserted, and realizes dustproofing on the device side.
Patent Document 3 describes a cap provided with an information display unit as a cap that can be attached to and detached from the connector.
Patent Document 4 describes an vacant core wire display jig provided with an information display unit connected to the vacant core wire (core wire) of the connector connection board.
In the invention described in Patent Document 1 and the invention described in Patent Document 2, it is cost effective to incorporate an unnecessary shutter in all connectors and receptacles during connection, which occupies most of the usage time. This increase is unavoidable, and it is economically disadvantageous in that repairs such as replacement of the connector are required in the event of a failure of the shutter structure.
It is also possible to manually manage which terminal should be removed from which terminal and which terminal should be reconnected if there are several connectors, but when a large number of cable groups are the work targets, the management of them becomes complicated. Not only that, but there is a high possibility of human error at the reconnection location.
In the invention described in Patent Document 3 and the invention described in Patent Document 4, caps can be attached to both the connector and the receptacle side that have been disconnected during construction, and information on the connection position can be displayed. It takes time and effort to describe the information of the connection location on both the connector side and the receptacle side.
Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to prevent damage and contamination of the connector (ferrule) in this connection work, and to accurately and quickly match the terminal and the cable in the connection work.
The invention according to claim 1 is an information transmission blind connector interposed between a connector for an information transmission cable and a receptacle to protect both, and the connector side of the information transmission blind connector is engaged with a male connector. A blind connector for information transmission that has a matching female structure, and the receptacle side of this information transmission blind connector has a male structure that engages with the female receptacle, and has sufficient shielding ability on the signal transmission path. Is.
The information transmission cable is a cable such as an electric signal line or an optical fiber, and usually has a connector at the end which can be easily connected and disconnected.
On the other hand, the device side to which the connector is connected (such as an optical distribution frame) has a receptacle that can be engaged with the connector, and in some cases, the number of receptacles per device may be one to several tens. It should be noted that the engagement includes the relationship in which the male and female portions (concavities and convexities) are fitted to each other.
Even after it has been laid once, construction may be required due to various circumstances, such as changes near the cable line. In this case, it is necessary to disconnect the connector in order to quickly carry out the inspection after construction.
Therefore, the inventor has one information transmission blind connector, the cable side has a female structure that engages with the male structure of the connector, and the device side has a male structure that engages with the female structure of the receptacle. Is temporarily connected to the original receptacle on the device side via the information transmission blind connector (temporary placement of the cable side connector during work), and during the temporary connection, the information transmission blind has the same shielding ability as disconnection. He invented a connector and a temporary holder for an information transmission cable connector using the connector.
As a result, by inserting a blind connector for information transmission into each connector connection at the start of construction, a shield equivalent to disconnection (electrical insulation, shading, waterproofing, dustproofing, blocking against various disturbances such as electromagnetic fields) is provided. At the same time, it is possible to connect to the original terminal without making a mistake in the connection position when reconnecting.
Further, even when performing temporary connection / disconnection work, by using the information transmission blind connector according to the present invention, it is not necessary to secure a wide area, and even when working in a narrow place, High workability is maintained.
Further, since the information transmission blind connector according to the present invention is separate from the optical cable and the device, it can be used many times as long as the connector shapes match.
The technical idea of the present invention can be applied to the connector structure that can be applied to the information transmission blind connector according to the present invention, whether it is a general-purpose connector or a connector of a proprietary standard. ..
The invention according to claim 2 is the information transmission blind connector according to claim 1, wherein the information transmission by the information transmission cable is performed via an optical signal, and the shielding ability of the information transmission blind connector is light shielding. is there.
In the case of an optical signal, the material of the information transmission blind connector itself is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to manufacture it with an inexpensive material such as plastic similar to a normal connector or the like. In order to have the ability to sufficiently block optical signals, the material of the blind connector for information transmission may be used as it is as long as it can sufficiently block light, but if necessary, metal is placed on the straight line of the ferrule in the connector, which is the signal path. You may provide a light-shielding plate such as.
In the invention according to claim 3, the information transmission by the information transmission cable is performed via an electric signal, and the shielding ability of the information transmission blind connector is insulation. The information transmission blind connector according to claim 1. Is.
In the case of an electric signal, since the connector is connected to the device side by contact between metals, the blind connector for information transmission of the present invention is preferably made of a non-conducting material inserted between them. Normally, an inexpensive material such as plastic can sufficiently insulate, but when the voltage is high, a rubber material or the like may be provided in the middle of the blind connector for information transmission to improve the insulating capacity.
The present invention has been described above assuming a situation in which a cable-side connector having a male structure and a receptacle side having a female structure are frequently used, but due to special circumstances, the cable has been described. The technical idea of the present invention can be applied to a connector shape in which the side is a female structure and the device side is a male structure, a cable extension connector in which both the male side and the female side are cables, and the like.
The invention according to claim 4 is a temporary holder for an information transmission cable connector that locks the information transmission cable connector in a temporarily placed state by using the information transmission blind connector according to any one of claims 1 to 3. This is a temporary placement tool for an information transmission cable connector in which a plurality of the above-mentioned information transmission blind connectors are hooked and fixed in accordance with the arrangement of a plurality of receptacles.
By interposing the information transmission blind connector of the present invention between the information transmission cable connector and the receptacle during work, it is protected from contamination by dust, damage by physical external force, and equipment failure by unexpected noise transmission. However, since the connector can be attached and detached while maintaining the connection position in the device, it is possible to avoid mistakes in the reconnection location.
In the invention according to claim 4, the information transmission cable connector is locked in the temporary placement state by using the temporary placement tool of the information transmission cable connector. For example, a plurality of information transmission blind connectors are inserted into and fixed to a plurality of mounting holes of the mounting member. After that, the cable connector is connected to the information transmission blind connector.
For example, a plurality of through holes arranged vertically and horizontally are formed on a flat plate (temporary holder), matched with the arrangement of receptacles on the device side, and a blind connector for information transmission is attached to and fixed to these through holes. Further, for each of the plurality of information transmission blind connectors fixed to the flat plate in this way, the information transmission cable connector removed from the receptacle on the device side is connected to the corresponding information transmission blind connector. As a result, a plurality of information transmission cable connectors are temporarily placed on this flat plate (temporary placement tool).
Hereinafter, examples of the present invention will be described. The present invention is not limited to these examples.
(Example 1)
As shown in FIG. 1, in the information transmission blind connector (attachment) 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the optical connector side portion thereof is the same as (same as) the receptacle portion (optical adapter) 200 of the wiring device. It has a female structure (of) and can be fitted (engageable) with the male structure of the
On the other hand, the receptacle side portion of the information
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the information
The information
Further, the information

(Example 2)
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the information

In the third embodiment of the present invention, the information transmission blind connector is not connected to the receptacle, that is, the information transmission cable connector removed from the receptacle can be temporarily placed. Further, in this case, the temporary placement includes the case where the information transmission blind connector to which the information transmission cable connector is connected is fitted and connected to the receptacle again.

As described above, the
As a result, the work (improvement of work efficiency) can be performed extremely smoothly as a temporary placement when the optical cable connector (along with the cable) 300 is removed from a large number of device-
