- 羽口であって、
内管であって、第1の直径を有する下部セクション、前記第1の直径よりも小さい第2の直径を有する上部セクション、および前記内管の下部セクションを前記内管の上部セクションに接続する、30°〜60°の収束角Θを有する収束移行セクションを含み、前記内管上部セクションの下流端にある内側ノズルで終端する内管と、
前記内管を取り囲んでそれとの間に環状部を形成する外管であって、前記第1の直径よりも大きい第3の直径を有する下部セクション、前記第3の直径よりも小さいが前記第2の直径よりも大きい第4の直径を有する上部セクション、および前記外管の下部セクションを前記外管の上部セクションに接続する収束移行セクションを有し、前記外管上部セクションの下流端にある外側ノズルで終端する外管とを備え、
前記羽口は、前記羽口によって形成されるジェットが、0.75〜2の膨張マッハ数を有する噴出モードにある攪拌モードと、安定した非予混合火炎が形成されて、前記内側ノズルまたは前記外側ノズルのいずれかの閉塞を取り除くことができるバーナーモードとの2つのモードで動作可能である、羽口。 - 前記羽口を、攪拌モード中に前記噴出モードで動作させるとき、前記膨張マッハ数は1.25よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の羽口。
- 前記内管の前記上部セクションの外面に15°〜75°のテーパー角度でらせん状に巻き付けられた、直径方向反対側の1対のワイヤをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の羽口。
- 前記内管に不活性ガスを供給するように構成された第1の不活性ガス弁、および前記内管に燃料を供給するように構成された燃料弁と、
前記外管に不活性ガスを供給するように構成された第2の不活性ガス弁、および前記外管に酸化剤を供給するように構成された酸化剤弁と、
前記羽口を攪拌モードまたはバーナーモードで動作させるようにプログラムされたコントローラと、をさらに備え、前記攪拌モードでは、前記第1の不活性ガス弁および前記第2の不活性ガス弁は開かれる一方で、前記燃料弁および前記酸化剤弁は閉じられ、前記バーナーモードでは、前記燃料弁および前記酸化剤弁は開かれる一方で、前記第1の不活性ガス弁および前記第2の不活性ガス弁は閉じられる、請求項1に記載の羽口。 - 前記羽口の前記内管内の第1の背圧を示す信号を前記コントローラに送信するように構成された、前記羽口の前記内管の上流の導管内の第1の圧力センサと、
前記羽口の前記外管内の第2の背圧を示す信号を前記コントローラに送信するように構成された、前記羽口の前記外管の上流の導管内の第2の圧力センサと、をさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、前記第1の背圧および前記第2の背圧の一方または両方が前記羽口内の所定の正常背圧範囲から逸脱したとき、羽口動作を前記攪拌モードから前記バーナーモードに切り替えるようにプログラムされている、請求項4に記載の羽口。 - 前記羽口の前記外管の前記上部セクション内の温度を示す信号を前記コントローラに送信するように構成された温度センサをさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、前記温度が前記羽口内の所定の正常温度範囲から逸脱したとき、羽口動作を前記攪拌モードから前記バーナーモードに切り替えるようにプログラムされている、請求項4に記載の羽口。 - 前記羽口の前記内側ノズルおよび前記外側ノズルの視覚画像を前記コントローラに送信するように構成されたカメラをさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、前記視覚画像が前記内側ノズルおよび前記外側ノズルの一方または両方の部分的な閉塞を示すとき、羽口動作を前記攪拌モードから前記バーナーモードに切り替えるようにプログラムされている、請求項4に記載の羽口。
