Abstract
Description
特許文献1に開示されている「ヒ素除去用吸着剤およびこれを用いたヒ素イオンを含有する被処理水の処理方法」では、コスト低廉な火山灰質土壌(黒ボク・軽石等)に属する疑似グライ化黄褐色森林土(秋田県田沢湖町)、黄褐色森林土(茨城県つくば市)、硫酸酸性質グライ土(茨城県美浦村)、鹿沼土(栃木県鹿沼市)、黒ボク土(茨城県美浦村)、黒ボク土(茨城県つくば市)をヒ素除去用吸着剤として用いることが提案されている。
みそ土取得工程110において、具体的には、本発明に係る重金属類吸着剤の主材料となるみそ土を火山灰層から採掘することによって取得する。ここで、みそ土とは、火山灰層に堆積している粘土鉱物であって、アロフェンを多く含むことを特徴とする。
みそ土解砕・分級工程120において、みそ土取得工程110にて取得したみそ土を解砕・分級する。火山灰層に堆積しているみそ土は、多量の水分を含む上層の黒ボクの下層にあるため、湿潤状態を維持しており、乾燥状態にはなり難い。上述したように火山灰層から採掘する際には、湿潤状態のみそ土を採掘して工場へ搬送する。当該工場内では、搬送されたみそ土に含まれるアロフェンの中空ボ−ル状の立体構造を破壊しないように、当該みそ土を解砕・分級する。
金属混合工程130において、みそ土解砕・分級工程120にて処理されたみそ土に金属混合物を混合する。具体的に、みそ土に混合する金属混合物とは、マグネシウムとアルミニウムとを含むものである。以下、マグネシウムとアルミニウムとの金属混合物として、説明するが、金属混合物は、これに限定されるものではなく、アルミニウムの一部または全部を鉄に換えても良く、同様の結果が得られる。ただし、マグネシウムとアルミニウム(鉄、またはアルミニウムと鉄との混合物)とを混合する割合は、マグネシウムの方を多くする必要があり、60重量%〜90重量%:40重量%〜10重量%が好ましく、80重量%:20重量%が最適である。
下記(1)M50、(2)M70、(3)M80、(4)M85の4種類の重金属類吸着剤(試料)を用いて有害重金属類に対する吸着性能を測定した。
(1)M50
マグネシウムとアルミニウムとの金属混合物:50重量%
みそ土:50重量%
(2)M70
マグネシウムとアルミニウムとの金属混合物:30重量%
みそ土:70重量%
(3)M80
マグネシウムとアルミニウムとの金属混合物:20重量%
みそ土:80重量%
(4)M85
マグネシウムとアルミニウムとの金属混合物:15重量%
みそ土:85重量%

Claims (6)
- 有害物混じり土壌及び廃棄物焼却灰から溶出する重金属類を吸着して不溶化剤として作用する重金属類吸着剤であって、
火山灰層から採掘され、粘土鉱物であるアロフェンが含有されているみそ土と、
マグネシウムと、アルミニウムまたは鉄の少なくともいずれかとを含む金属混合物と、を備える、重金属類吸着剤。 - 前記みそ土と前記金属混合物とは、50重量%〜85重量%:50重量%〜15重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の重金属類吸着剤。
- 前記マグネシウムは、前記アルミニウムまたは前記鉄の少なくともいずれかよりも多いことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の重金属類吸着剤。
- 前記マグネシウムと前記アルミニウムまたは前記鉄の少なくともいずれかとは、80重量%:20重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の重金属類吸着剤。
- 前記火山灰層は、大山倉吉軽石層であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の重金属類吸着剤。
- 有害物混じり土壌及び廃棄物焼却灰から溶出する重金属類を吸着して不溶化剤として作用する重金属類吸着剤の製造方法であって、
粘土鉱物であるアロフェンが含有されているみそ土を火山灰層から採掘し、
前記採掘したみそ土の含水率を10%〜20%に維持しつつ、かつ含有されるアロフェンの中空ボール状の立体構造を維持するように解砕し、
前記解砕したみそ土に含まれる黒ボク、軽石塊、および植物の破片を除去し、
マグネシウムとアルミニウムまたは鉄の少なくともいずれかとを混合する、重金属類吸着剤の製造方法。
