Abstract
Description
a)フェノールとホルムアルデヒドの反応によるフェノールのプレメチロール化;および、これに続く
b)ステップa)の生成物を本明細書に記載の液体リグニン組成物と混合し、混合物を加熱して水性結合樹脂を得る。
水と水酸化ナトリウム水溶液の混合物(濃度:水中の50重量%NaOH)に、クラフトリグニンと尿素を加えた。この混合物を蓋付きの50mlプラスチック容器で約5分間撹拌し、続いて55℃のオーブンで1〜21時間加熱した。リグニン溶液の粘度は、ブルックフィールドDV−II+LV粘度計を使用して25℃で測定した。粘度値を表1に示す。
最初にホルムアルデヒドでフェノールをプレメチロール化し、次いでリグニンおよび尿素をアルカリ溶液に溶解させた液体形態でリグニンおよび尿素を添加して更に反応させることによって、積層板用途向けにリグニンベースのフェノール樹脂を調製した。
リグニン−フェノール−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂を、リグニンによるフェノール置換レベル25%の積層板用途向けに合成した。

- 合板、パーティクルボード、ウェーハボード、グルーラムビーム、構造複合材、配向性ストランドボード(OSB)、配向ストランド材(OSL)、単板積層材(LVL)、または積層板、断熱材もしくは成形コンパウンドなどの加工木材製品の製造における請求項11に記載の樹脂の使用。
