Abstract
Description
本発明は、2016年12月12日に出願された「System and Method for High Density Electrode Management」と題する米国特許出願第15/376,655に基づき優先権を主張するものであり、その内容は参照することにより本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (17)
- 神経モニタリング用システムであって、該システムは、
複数の電極グループであって、各電極グループは複数の電極を備え、各グループ内の前記電極の各々は類似のモニタリング機能性タイプ及び類似の配置位置の少なくとも1つを有する、複数の電極グループと、
複数のコネクタであって、各コネクタは電気的にアクセス可能なメモリを備え、固有の識別コードが各電気的にアクセス可能なメモリに記憶され、且つ前記複数の電極グループの各電極グループが前記複数のコネクタの少なくとも1つのコネクタに結合される、複数のコネクタと、
前記複数のコネクタを受け入れるように構成された少なくとも1つの受ユニットを備える制御ユニットであって、前記複数のコネクタの各コネクタと関連する各自の固有の識別子コードを識別することによって前記複数のコネクタの各コネクタのアイデンティティを確認し、各電極を前記固有の識別コードに基づいて該制御ユニット内の対応する入力チャネルと関連付けるように前記システムを設定する、制御ユニットと、
を備える神経モニタリング用システム。 - 前記固有の識別コードは128ビットのGUIDフォーマットである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの受ユニットは前記複数のコネクタの1つ以上のコネクタを受け入れるように構成された複数の入力受孔を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上のコネクタは前記少なくとも1つの受ユニットの前記複数の入力受孔の何れかに結合されるように構成される、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記コネクタは前記固有の識別コードに関連する情報を前記制御ユニットに送信するように構成された指定出力ピンを有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記固有の識別コードに関連する前記情報はバーコード又は無線周波数コード(RFID)としてフォーマットされる、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記固有の識別コードに関連する前記情報は、レジスタを備えたディップスイッチとして構成された多数のピンを用いて記憶される、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のコネクタの各々は少なくとも2つの異なる向きで前記受ユニットに挿入されるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のコネクタの各々は、前記固有の識別コード及び該コネクタの向きに関する情報を前記制御ユニットに送信するよう構成された2つの指定出力ピンを有する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記2つの指定出力ピンは、受ユニットに挿入される際の前記コネクタの向きを示すために異なる極性又は電圧レベルに維持される、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記2つの指定出力ピンの物理的位置は2つのそれぞれの向きで異なる、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 任意の1つの電極グループに含まれる電極は前記コネクタの入力に所定の順序で結合される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電極は4,6,8,10,12又は16電極のグループに構成に構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムはEEG又はEMG処置を行うように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者データモニタリング用医療システムであって、該システムは、
患者の身体に取り付けるように構成された複数の電極グループであって、前記複数の電極グループの各電極グループは類似のモニタリング機能性タイプ及び類似の配置位置の少なくとも1つを有する、複数の電極グループと、
複数のコネクタであって、各コネクタは電気的にアクセス可能なメモリを備え、固有の識別コードが各電気的にアクセス可能なメモリに記憶され、且つ前記複数の電極グループの各電極グループが前記複数のコネクタの少なくとも1つのコネクタに結合される、複数のコネクタと、
前記複数のコネクタを受け入れるように構成された少なくとも1つの受ユニットを備える制御ユニットであって、前記複数のコネクタの各コネクタと関連する各自の固有の識別子コードを識別することによって前記複数のコネクタの各コネクタのアイデンティティを確認し、各電極を前記固有の識別コードに基づいて該制御ユニット内の対応する入力チャネルと関連付けるように前記システムを設定し、ここで関連付けるとは、前記電極を前記対応する入力チャネルと電気通信状態に置くことである、制御ユニットと、
を備える、患者データモニタリング用医療システム。 - 前記医療システムは神経モニタリング用途に使用されるように構成されている、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記医療システムはEKG処置に使用されるように構成されている、請求項15に記載のシステム。
