Abstract
Description

超硬構造体を処理して非平面頂部領域を含む超硬構造体の体積を取り除き、超硬構造体が平面頂部領域を含んでなるようにすることと、
を含んでなる。
Claims (13)
- 超硬材料を含んでなるストライク構造体と、
超硬合金材料を含んでなる基材であって、界面にて前記ストライク構造体と連結する、基材と、
を含んでなるピックツール用のストライクチップであって、
前記ストライクチップが主中心軸に対して回転対称性を有し、前記ストライク構造体が平面頂部領域を有し、および主中心軸が位置する面において、凸湾曲側壁が前記平面頂部領域と前記基材との間に延在する、ストライクチップ。 - 前記湾曲側壁が、異なる曲率半径を有する、請求項1に記載のストライクチップ。
- 前記平面頂部領域が、前記基材の断面の最大面積の0.5〜30%である、請求項1または2に記載のストライクチップ。
- 前記頂部領域が、前記ストライクチップの中心縦軸を中心として実質的に円形である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のストライクチップ。
- 前記ストライク構造体が、前記頂部領域から垂下し、かつこれを包囲するスカート構造体を含んでなる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のストライクチップ。
- 前記ストライク構造体が、前記平面頂部領域と同心円状に配置される切頭された円錐面を含んでなる、請求項5に記載のストライクチップ。
- 前記超硬材料が、多結晶ダイヤモンド(PCD)材料を含んでなる、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のストライクチップ。
- 前記頂部領域と、前記頂部と反対側の前記界面との間の前記ストライク構造体の厚みが、2.5〜10mmである、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のストライクチップ。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のストライクチップを含んでなる、ロードミリングまたはマイニング用ピックツールのためのアセンブリ。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のストライクチップを製造する方法であって、
超硬材料を含んでなるストライク構造体と、超硬合金材料を含んでなる基材とを含んでなるプレカーソル構成体であって、前記基材が界面にて前記ストライク構造体と連結し、前記ストライク構造体が非平面頂部領域を有し、および凸湾曲側壁が前記平面頂部領域から前記基材に向かって垂下する、プレカーソル構成体を提供することと、
前記超硬構造体を処理して前記非平面頂部領域を含む前記超硬構造体の体積を取り除き、前記超硬構造体が平面頂部領域を含んでなるようにすることと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記プレカーソル構成体の前記非平面頂部領域が、球状に丸まっている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記超硬構造体を処理して前記非平面頂部領域を含む前記超硬構造体の体積を取り除き、前記基材の断面の最大面積の0.5〜30%を有する平面頂部領域を残すことをさらに含んでなる、請求項10または11に記載の方法。
- 前記超硬構造体を処理して前記非平面頂部領域を含む前記超硬構造体の体積を取り除き、実質的に円形であり、かつ前記ストライクチップの中心縦軸を中心とする平面頂部領域を残すことをさらに含んでなる、請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
