Claims (20)
- 骨を通して形成される孔の検査および測定のためのデバイスであって、前記デバイスは、
第1の端部と、第2の端部とを含むハンドルと、
前記ハンドル内に摺動可能に搭載される骨プローブであって、前記骨プローブは、探査先端を画定する遠位端を含むシャフトを備え、前記探査先端は、
抵抗を殆どまたは全く伴わずにボア孔の内部表面に接触し、前記孔の内部表面の触覚フィードバックをユーザに提供するように成形され、かつ、構成される第1の部分と、
シャフトへの力の十分な印加に応じて、前記孔に隣接する骨の外部表面との引掛部を確立するように成形され、かつ、構成される係合表面を含む第2の部分と
を備える、骨プローブと、
前記ハンドル内に摺動可能に搭載される深度ゲージ部材であって、前記深度ゲージ部材は、遠位端を含む中空の伸長体を備え、前記中空の伸長体は、管腔を含み、前記管腔において、前記骨プローブシャフトの少なくとも一部は、前記骨プローブおよび深度ゲージ部材が相互および前記ハンドルに対して独立して摺動可能であるように受容される、深度ゲージ部材と、
前記ボア孔の深度を示す電子信号を生成するように構成されるセンサであって、前記電子信号は、前記ハンドルの前記第1の端部と前記深度ゲージ部材の前記伸長体の前記遠位端との間の距離に関連して変動する、センサと
を備える、デバイス。 - 前記探査先端の前記第1の部分は、略平面状の基部表面と、前記基部表面の周囲に沿った1つ以上の略弓形の縁とを有する基部を画定する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記探査先端の前記第2の部分は、前記骨プローブシャフトの縦軸に対してある角度で配向される略平面状の上面を有する上部を画定する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記角度は、鋭角である、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記鋭角は、1〜89度である、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- 前記鋭角は、約5〜25度である、請求項5に記載のデバイス。
- 前記角度は、鈍角である、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記鈍角は、91〜179度である、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記鈍角は、約95〜115度である、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記探査先端の前記第2の部分の前記係合表面は、前記係合表面と骨の一部との間の摩擦を向上させるための表面テクスチャ加工を有する、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記探査先端の前記第2の部分の前記係合表面は、前記第2の部分の周囲に沿って延在する縁を画定する、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記骨プローブシャフトは、近位端から前記遠位端までの幅または厚さにおいてテーパ状である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記センサは、電気抵抗ベースのセンサである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記センサからの前記電子信号に基づいて、前記孔の深度測定のデジタル読出値を視覚的に提供するように構成される前記ハンドル上のディスプレイをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電子信号を含む情報を無線ディスプレイまたはコンピューティングデバイスと無線で通信し、かつ、交換するように構成される無線送信機/受信機をさらに備え、前記無線ディスプレイまたはコンピューティングデバイスは、少なくとも、前記センサからの前記電子信号に基づいて、前記孔の深度測定値を視覚的に提供する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ハンドルは、ポートを備え、前記ポートは、前記骨プローブシャフトの一部と通信し、前記ハンドルの外部から前記ハンドルの内部および前記骨プローブシャフトへのアクセスを提供する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記骨プローブシャフトは、導電材料を含む、請求項16に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ポートは、第2の医療用デバイスの入力コネクタを受容し、それを前記骨プローブシャフトと電気通信させ、前記骨プローブシャフトは、前記第2の医療用デバイスの前記入力コネクタへのおよびそれからの電気信号を搬送するように構成される、請求項17に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第2の医療用デバイスは、神経監視デバイスを備える、請求項18に記載のデバイス。
- 前記骨プローブシャフトの前記遠位端の前記探査先端は、神経が前記ボア孔内またはそれに隣接して存在するかどうかを示す信号を前記神経監視デバイスに提供するように構成される、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
