Abstract
Description
坪量(g/m2)は、より少ない試料及びより小さな試料サイズを有する、ISO 536版を使用して、決定した。100±1cm2の面内の面積を有する円形試験片を、切断装置(ディスクカッター又はパンチ)を使用して、作製した。5個の円形試験片を、それぞれ、±0.5%の精度で読み取るはかりで秤量した。それぞれの試験片の坪量は、試験片の質量を面内の面積で割ることによって計算した。
変性セルロースパルプを、未変性木材セルロース繊維パルプから、酸化性のC2〜C3結合の初期数に基づいて約30%の変換度で、懸濁液中の繊維の部分をジアルデヒドセルロースに酸化し、その後、ジアルデヒドセルロースをジアルコールセルロースに還元することによって、調製した。セルロース繊維は、少なくとも1μmの平均直径を有する。本開示の繊維の平均直径は、通常、少なくとも5μm、例えば、少なくとも8μm、例えば、少なくとも12μmである。本開示の繊維の平均長さは、好ましくは、少なくとも0.3mm、例えば、0.3〜4mmである。しかしながら、例えば、繊維の発泡体が生成し得る限り、50mmまで等の、任意の繊維の長さがあり得る。本開示の繊維は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース起源である。セルロースのジアルデヒドセルロースへの変換度は、下記に記載する「カルボニル含量決定」方法を使用して、決定することができる。材料の繊維を調製するための方法において使用される繊維懸濁液は、叩解繊維の懸濁液であってもよい。
ケミサーモメカニカルパルプ(CTMP、濾水度600ml)と変性パルプ及び/又は高度精製広葉樹パルプの、実施例において作成した同様のブレンドを、混合及び発泡させた。カチオン性デンプン(CS)及び保持助剤(RA)等の保持化学物質を、発泡組成物に、以下の順序で添加した。0秒にCS、5秒にRA1(カチオン性ポリアクリルアミド、0.4kg/t)、10秒にRA2(Hercules社製の微粒子「Perform(登録商標)SP7200」、0.4kg/t)、及び混合を15秒で停止した。最後に、パルプ発泡体を、シート型に移し、シートを作成した。

Claims (21)
- 発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料を製造するための方法であって、
a.水及び発泡剤を含む水性発泡体を形成するステップと、
b.セルロース繊維を前記水性発泡体に添加し、このようにして、繊維発泡体組成物を形成するステップであって、前記セルロース繊維が変性セルロースを含み、前記変性セルロースがジアルコールセルロースを含有する、形成するステップと、
c.前記繊維発泡体組成物を、基材上又は型内に分配するステップと、
d.分配された繊維発泡体組成物中の水の量を低下させて、発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料を最終形状で得るステップと、
e.任意選択で、前記発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料を乾燥するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - ステップbにおいて、
前記セルロース繊維が、未変性粗セルロース繊維として、及び変性セルロース繊維を含むセルロース補強画分として添加され、前記変性セルロース繊維がジアルコールセルロースを含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記変性セルロースが、未変性セルロースを(繊維懸濁液中で)ジアルデヒドセルロースに部分的に酸化するステップ、及びその後前記ジアルデヒドセルロースを、前記変性セルロースの酸化性のC2〜C3結合の初期数に基づいて10〜50%の変換度まで、ジアルコールセルロースに還元するステップによる変性ステップにおいて調製される、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 未変性セルロースを変性セルロースと混合するステップを含み、このステップが、得られたセルロース混合物を前記水性発泡体に添加する前に行われる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 発泡形成セルロース繊維材料が、酸化性のC2〜C3結合の総数に基づいて、0.5〜25%のジアルコールセルロース、例えば、0.5〜20%、例えば、0.5〜10%、例えば、0.5〜5%のジアルコールセルロースを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維発泡体組成物が、0.1〜7重量%、例えば、0.1〜5重量%、例えば、0.5〜5重量%のセルロース繊維を含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 更なるセルロース補強画分が添加され、補強画分が、SR°80より大きいSR範囲を有する高度精製化学パルプ及び70mL未満のCSFを有する高度精製ケミサーモメカニカルパルプ(hrCTMP)から選択される高度精製繊維成分である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維発泡体組成物が、0.01から1000ppm、例えば、0.01から100ppm、例えば、0.01から10ppm、例えば、0.05から10ppm、例えば、0.05から8ppm重量%の発泡剤を含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。

- 水の量を低下させる繊維発泡体組成物の密度が、およそ600〜750kg/m3であり、平均気泡サイズが、100μmまたはそれ未満である、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 100〜700kg/m3、例えば、最大で450kg/m3の密度を有する、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって作製された、発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料。
- 100J/m2より高い、例えば、140J/m2より高い、例えば、170J/m2より高い層間剥離強度を有する、請求項14に記載の発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料。
- 20Nm/g(kNm/kg)を上回る比引張強さ(MD)を有し、450kg/m3より低い密度を有する、請求項14又は15に記載の発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料。
- 異なるセルロース材料の更なるシートと接触した層に積層又は配置された、請求項14から16のいずれか一項に記載の発泡形成低密度セルロース繊維材料を含む、包装材料用セルロースバルクシート。
- 異なるセルロース材料の更なるシートが紙である、請求項17に記載の包装材料用セルロースバルクシート。
- バルクシートが、少なくとも1層のポリマー、例えば、熱可塑性ポリマー、例えば、ポリオレフィンに積層されている、請求項17または18に記載のセルロースバルクシートを含む、積層包装材料。
- 酸素バリアを更に含む、請求項19に記載の積層包装材料。
- 請求項19又は20に記載の積層包装材料を含む、液体又は半液体食品用包装容器(30a;30b;30c;30d)。
