Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an additive composition for fuel oil, which has an excellent effect of suppressing the generation of sludge when storing fuel oil.
Fuel oil such as C heavy oil contains a high molecular weight hydrocarbon component called asphaltene. This asphaltene is insoluble in paraffinic hydrocarbons in fuel oil and exists in a colloidal dispersion in fuel oil. However, when the fuel oil is stored for a long period of time, the fuel oil is heated, or when fuel oils having different compositions are mixed, asphaltene may precipitate from the fuel oil and settle as sludge. When sludge is generated, there are problems that the strainer is clogged and asphaltene cannot be used as fuel, resulting in a decrease in fuel consumption. In order to deal with such a problem, it has been conventionally practiced to add an additive to the fuel oil to suppress the generation of sludge from the fuel oil.
By the way, in recent years, in order to suppress the amount of sulfur oxides generated when burning fuel oil, it is required to use low sulfur fuel oil having a low content of sulfur components. Under these circumstances, from 2020, the International Maritime Organization will introduce regulations to reduce the sulfur concentration of fuel oil used in general sea areas to 0.5% or less. As a result of analysis, it was found that such low-sulfur fuel oil has a large proportion of paraffinic hydrocarbon components in the fuel oil and tends to precipitate asphaltene as sludge as compared with the conventional fuel oil having a large sulfur component. ing. In addition, some fuel oils have a high content of paraffin wax components, and sludge tends to be easily deposited from those fuel oils. Therefore, the conventionally used additives may not be able to sufficiently suppress the precipitation of sludge even when added to the low sulfur fuel oil.
The present invention solves such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide an additive composition having an excellent effect of suppressing sludge generation when added to a low-sulfur fuel oil.

Additive composition in the same manner as in Example 1 except that Plysurf A-208B (polyoxyalkylene lauryl ether phosphoric acid ester, manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd.) was used instead of JP-524R as the phosphoric acid ester. I got something. The composition of the additive composition is shown in Table 1. Further, with respect to the obtained additive composition, the residual sludge amount and the sludge suppression rate were measured in the same manner as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 2.
(Example 4)
An additive composition was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that phosphatidylethanolamine was used instead of phosphatidylserine. The composition of the additive composition is shown in Table 1. Further, with respect to the obtained additive composition, the residual sludge amount and the sludge suppression rate were measured in the same manner as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 2.
(Comparative Example 1)
An additive composition was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that 55 parts by mass of phosphatidylserine was used without using JP-524R. The composition of the additive composition is shown in Table 1. Further, with respect to the obtained additive composition, the residual sludge amount and the sludge suppression rate were measured in the same manner as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 2.
