前記キャップの外面が前方に向かうに従い縮径され、前記軸筒のペン先側にキャップが装着された状態で熱変色性筆記具の重心が前記キャップの内部に位置され、前記軸筒のペン先側に前記キャップが装着された状態で熱変色性筆記具を水平載置面に載置した際、前記キャップの外面が水平載置面に接触し、前記キャップより後方の前記軸筒の外面及び前記摩擦部の外面が水平載置面と非接触状態となることを特徴とする熱変色性筆記具。
