Description

The present invention relates to a corrugated cardboard box composed of a single piece of corrugated cardboard.

A rectangular parallelepiped cardboard box is widely used as a packing box. When the corrugated cardboard box is made of one piece of corrugated cardboard, it is easy to handle the corrugated cardboard before assembling or after disassembling.

In a general corrugated cardboard box, the four side plate portions are formed in a tubular shape. In this case, the four side plate portions are formed in a series, and the connecting piece is formed so as to be connected to one of the four side plate portions, and the connecting piece is the other of the four side plate portions. It is glued to one.

In some cases, a corrugated cardboard box that does not require an bonding process during assembly may be adopted. For example, each of the two opposing side plate portions has a double structure including an outer plate and an inner plate that is connected to the upper side of the outer plate and is folded inward. Further, a folding piece connected to each of the remaining two of the four side plate portions is sandwiched between the outer plate and the inner plate (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this case, the cardboard box can be easily assembled and disassembled.

The corrugated cardboard box 10 has a rectangular bottom plate portion 1, four side plate portions 2, two inner flaps 3, a lid portion 4, and a lid retaining piece 5. Each of the four side plate portions 2 stands upright on the four sides of the bottom plate portion 1 via creases (see FIG. 1).

The four side plate portions 2 include two first side plate portions 21 facing each other and the remaining two second side plate portions 22 facing each other.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, the two inner flaps 3 are connected to the upper side of the two first side plate portions 21 via creases and face the bottom plate portion 1. The lid portion 4 is connected to the upper side of one of the two second side plate portions 22 via a crease.

The lid portion 4 overlaps the upper surface of the two inner flaps 3 and closes the upper opening formed by the four side plate portions 2.

The lid fastening piece 5 is connected to the side of the lid portion 4 on the side opposite to the side connected to the second side plate portion 22 via a crease. With the lid portion 4 closed, the lid retaining piece 5 is inserted into the gap between the other second side plate portion 22 and the two inner flaps 3.

The lid fastening piece 5 holds the lid portion 4 in a closed state due to frictional resistance between the second side plate portion 22 and the two inner flaps 3.

By the way, in the corrugated cardboard box 10, it is desired that sufficient strength can be ensured with a small amount of corrugated cardboard in addition to the fact that the bonding step at the time of assembly is unnecessary.

The corrugated cardboard box 10 does not require an adhesive process at the time of assembly, and has a structure capable of ensuring sufficient strength with a small amount of corrugated cardboard used. The structure will be described below.

The cardboard box 10 further has four side plate extension pieces 6. The four side plate extension pieces 6 are connected to both sides of the two second side plate portions 22 via creases. Each of the four side plate extension pieces 6 has a superimposing portion 61 that overlaps the first side plate portion 21, and a protruding piece 62 that projects upward from the superimposing portion 61.

Each of the four side plate extension pieces 6 includes a pair of two sets of side plate extension pieces 6 arranged along the first side plate portion 21. In the following description, each pair of the two sets of side plate extension pieces 6 is referred to as a side plate extension piece pair 6x.

Each of the first side plate portions 21 has a cut-up piece 21a cut up with a boundary portion with each of the inner flaps 3 as a root portion, and a side plate base portion 21b which is the remaining portion. In each of the first side plate portions 21, the cut-up piece 21a is cut up, so that an opening is formed at least in the region including the cut-up mark portion of the cut-up piece 21a. In the following description, this opening is referred to as a punch hole 21c.

In the present embodiment, the region occupied by the punched hole 21c includes a region of the cut-up trace of the cut-up piece 21a and a pair of expansion regions 210c (see FIGS. 5 and 6). The pair of expansion regions 210c are regions that are continuous on both sides of the region of the cut-up mark at the boundary portion with each of the inner flaps 3 in each of the first side plate portions 21. The region occupied by the punched hole 21c may be a region that coincides with the region of the cut-up mark of the cut-up piece 21a.

A part of the overlapping portion 61 and the protruding piece 62 in each of the two sets of side plate extension piece pairs 6x are inserted into the punched holes 21c, and the inner surface of the side plate base portion 21b and the cut-up piece 21a in each of the first side plate portions 21 Along the outer surface of (see Figures 1, 6 and 7). Further, a part of the overlapping portion 61 and the protruding piece 62 are sandwiched between the inner surface of the side plate base portion 21b and the outer surface of the cut-up piece 21a in each of the first side plate portions 21.

Note that FIG. 3 shows a state before the part of the overlapping portion 61 and the protruding piece 62 are inserted into the punching hole 21c. FIG. 4 shows a state in which a part of the overlapping portion 61 and the protruding piece 62 are inserted into the punching hole 21c and before the inner flap 3 is bent to a position facing the bottom plate portion 1.

The protruding pieces 62 of each of the side plate extension piece pairs 6x are engaged with the edge portion 21d of the punching hole 21c at the boundary portion with each of the inner flaps 3 in each of the first side plate portions 21. In other words, the two projecting pieces 62 in each of the side plate extension piece pairs 6x are tightly fitted into the punch holes 21c at the boundary portion with each of the inner flaps 3 in each of the first side plate portions 21. In the present embodiment, the protruding piece 62 is engaged with the edge portion 21d of the pair of expansion regions 210c in the punching hole 21c (see FIG. 6).

A part of the overlapping portion 61 and the protruding piece 62 in each of the side plate extension piece pairs 6x are inserted into the punching hole 21c, and the protruding piece 62 engages with the edge portion 21d of the punching hole 21c so that the two first side plates are formed. The portion 21 and the two second side plate portions 22 are held in an upright state in a fixed positional relationship. As a result, the strength of the rectangular parallelepiped box formed by the bottom plate portion 1 and the four side plate portions 2 is sufficiently ensured.

That is, the corrugated cardboard box 10 has a structure that does not require an adhesive process at the time of assembly. This makes it easy to handle the corrugated cardboard before assembling or disassembling the corrugated cardboard box 10.

Further, the corrugated cardboard box 10 is provided with two inner flaps 3 so that the gap between the two first side plate portions 21 and the lid portion 4 can be closed.

Further, the first side plate portion 21 has a cut-up structure rather than a double structure including an outer plate and an inner plate that sandwich the overlapping portion 61 of the side plate extension piece pair 6x. Therefore, the corrugated cardboard box 10 uses less corrugated cardboard than in the case where the side plate portion having a double structure is adopted.

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the protruding piece 62 in the four side plate extension pieces 6 protrudes upward from the closed lid portion 4. As a result, the height of the projecting piece 62 is secured so that the projecting piece 62 can engage with the edge portion 21d of the punching hole 21c with sufficient strength.

Further, in the present embodiment, the protruding length of the protruding piece 62 upward from the lid portion 4 is smaller than the thickness of the bottom plate portion 1.

Further, two slits 1a are formed at the boundary portion of the bottom plate portion 1 with the two first side plate portions 21 so that a portion of the protruding piece 62 that protrudes from the lid portion 4 can be inserted when the corrugated cardboard boxes 10 are stacked. (See Figures 1, 2, 8 and 9). Therefore, it is possible to stably stack a plurality of corrugated cardboard boxes 10.

[Application example]
Next, an application example of the cardboard box 10 will be described. Hereinafter, the differences from the corrugated cardboard box 10 in this application example will be described.

In this application example, the protruding piece 62 of the four side plate extension pieces 6 protrudes upward from the inner flap 3, and the protruding length of the protruding piece 62 upward from the inner flap 3 is larger than the thickness of the lid portion 4. Is also small.

In this application example, the protruding piece 62 does not protrude upward from the lid portion 4. Therefore, even if the slit 1a is not formed in the bottom plate portion 1, a plurality of corrugated cardboard boxes 10 can be stably stacked.

Further, also in this application example, the height of the protruding piece 62 is secured so that the protruding piece 62 can engage with the edge portion 21d of the punching hole 21c with sufficient strength.
