吸音体2は、立設したFRP壁材1のうち、一枚のFRP壁材1に並列するリブ12間や、二枚並べて立設したFRP壁材1のそれぞれのリブ12間に配置する。
吸音体2の大きさは、高さ方向はFRP壁材1の高さよりも短くし、幅方向は、並列したリブ12の間隔と略同一とし、奥行き方向は、突設するリブ12の高さよりも短くする。

また、並列したFRP壁材1の上端には、上蓋16を設ける。
上蓋16は、並列したリブ12の上端間に渡設し、リブ12の上端に突設した上蓋支持材161に固定する。上蓋16と上蓋支持材161はFRP壁材1と同じくFRP製又はGFRP製とし、リベットを介して上蓋16と上蓋支持材161を固定するのが好適である。
上蓋16で吸音体2の上方を覆うことにより、吸音体2の内部に水が浸入するのを防止できる。
