The present invention relates to a DCDC converter.
As a DCDC converter, a switch provided on a low-side power supply line between a power supply and a primary coil of a transformer is alternately turned on and off to supply power supplied from the power supply through a transformer, a rectifying circuit, and a smoothing circuit. There is a method of controlling the drive of the switch so that the output current reaches the upper limit value of the rated output current when the output current exceeds the upper limit value of the rated output current while being output to the load.

As a related technique, there is
However, since the DCDC converter does not detect the current flowing through the switch, the switch may be destroyed if an overcurrent flows through the switch.
Further, in the above DCDC converter, when the output current required by the load is larger than the upper limit value of the rated output current, there is a concern that the current required by the load cannot be output to the load.
Therefore, an object of one aspect of the present invention is to prevent a switch from being destroyed due to an overcurrent flowing through the switch in a DCDC converter, and the output current required from the load is higher than the upper limit value of the rated output current. Even if it is large, the current required by the load should be output to the load as much as possible.
A DCDC converter, which is one mode of the present invention, includes a transformer, a switch provided on a low-side power supply line between a power supply and a primary coil of the transformer, and a rectifier circuit provided after the secondary coil of the transformer. A smoothing circuit provided after the rectifier circuit, an input voltage sensor for detecting the input voltage of the DCDC converter, an output voltage sensor for detecting the output voltage of the DCDC converter, and an output current sensor for detecting the output current of the DCDC converter. , A drive unit that outputs a control signal to the switch to turn on and off alternately, and a control signal that obtains the control signal from the input voltage and the output voltage command value detected by the input voltage sensor and outputs the control signal to the drive unit And a section.
The drive unit stops the operation of the switch when the peak value of the current flowing through the switch becomes equal to or higher than the peak current threshold value.
Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the switch from being destroyed due to the overcurrent flowing through the switch.
Further, when the output current detected by the output current sensor is larger than the upper limit value of the rated output current, the control unit displays a drooping control map in which the output current and the output voltage when the DCDC converter does not stop are associated with each other. With reference to the output voltage corresponding to the output current detected by the output current sensor as the output voltage threshold, if the output voltage detected by the output voltage sensor is greater than the output voltage threshold, the output voltage detected by the output voltage sensor is The output voltage command value is gradually decreased until it becomes equal to or lower than the output voltage threshold.
Accordingly, even when the output current is larger than the upper limit value of the rated output current, the output voltage can be reduced using the drooping control map to output the current from the DCDC converter to the load without stopping the DCDC converter. The current required from the load can be output to the load as much as possible.
Further, the control unit may be configured to change the peak current threshold according to the input voltage detected by the input voltage sensor or the output voltage detected by the output voltage sensor.
Further, the DCDC converter includes a temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the cooling water that cools the DCDC converter, and the control unit is configured to change the drooping control map to another drooping control map according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor. You may.
The present invention, in a DCDC converter, prevents destruction of a switch due to overcurrent and, even when the output current required by the load is larger than the upper limit of the rated output current, loads the current required by the load as much as possible. Can be output to.
Embodiments will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of the DCDC converter of the embodiment.
The
なお、スイッチSWは、MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor)などとする。 また、駆動部4は、IC(Integrated Circuit)などにより構成される。また、制御部5は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)またはプログラマブルなデバイス(FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)やPLD(Programmable Logic Device))などにより構成される。
The
The positive terminal of the high voltage battery Bhi is connected to one terminal of the capacitor C1 and one terminal of the primary coil L1 of the transformer T, and the negative terminal of the high voltage battery Bhi is connected to the other terminal of the capacitor C1 and the source terminal of the switch SW. Has been done. The drain terminal of the switch SW is connected to the other terminal of the primary coil L1. One terminal of the secondary coil L2 of the transformer T is connected to the cathode terminal of the diode D1 and one terminal of the inductor L, and the other terminal of the secondary coil L2 is connected to the cathode terminal of the diode D2. The other terminal of the inductor L is connected to one terminal of the capacitor C2 and the positive terminal of the low voltage battery Blo. The anode terminal of the diode D1 is connected to the anode terminal of the diode D2, the other terminal of the capacitor C2, and the negative terminal of the low voltage battery Blo.
The input voltage sensor SVin is connected to one terminal of the capacitor C1, detects the voltage applied to the capacitor C1, and outputs it to the
The drive unit 4 alternately outputs the control signal output from the
Further, the drive unit 4 uses the current detected by the input current sensor SIin as the input current, and when the peak value of the input current becomes equal to or higher than the peak current threshold, the

On the other hand, when the output current is larger than the upper limit value of the rated output current (step S2: No), the
Here, FIG. 3A is a diagram showing an example of the drooping control map. The horizontal axis of the Cartesian coordinates shown in FIG. 3A represents the output current, and the vertical axis represents the output voltage. In addition, the solid line shown in FIG. 3A (the intersection of the upper limit value of the rated output current and the upper limit value of the rated output voltage, and the output voltage of the DCDC converter 1 (vehicle stop voltage) when the vehicle is stopped due to the load demand current and insufficient power). It is assumed that the straight line connecting the intersection point with) indicates a drooping control map and is stored in advance inside the

On the other hand, when the output voltage acquired in step S1 or step S8 described later is higher than the output voltage threshold value (step S5: No), the

With this, when the output current is larger than the upper limit value of the rated output current and the output voltage is higher than the output voltage threshold, the output voltage can be gradually decreased until the output voltage becomes equal to or lower than the output voltage threshold. The current and output voltage can be made to substantially match the output current and output voltage shown in the droop control map, respectively. As described above, when the output current and the output voltage substantially match the output current and the output voltage shown in the droop control map, respectively, the
As described above, in the

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various improvements and changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.

FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing an example of the operation of the
The flowchart shown in FIG. 4 differs from the flowchart shown in FIG. 2 in that the peak current threshold value is changed by the input voltage and the output voltage in step S2′ before step S2. The execution timing of step S2' is not limited to that before step S2.
For example, the
As the input voltage increases or the output voltage decreases, the variation width of the current flowing through the switch SW per unit time ((input voltage/winding of the primary coil L1 The number N−the output voltage)/the inductance of the inductor L) becomes large. That is, as the input voltage increases or the output voltage decreases, the peak value of the current flowing through the switch SW increases.
Therefore, as in the first modification, by changing the peak current threshold value in accordance with the change in the peak value accompanying the change in the input voltage or the output voltage, the switch current is switched even though the overcurrent is not flowing to the switch SW. Stopping the SW can be reduced.

The flowchart shown in FIG. 6 is different from the flowchart shown in FIG. 2 in that the drooping control map is changed according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor St in step S4′ before step S4.
For example, when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor St has not risen, the
In order to suppress the destruction of the switch SW due to heat, it is necessary to reduce the output current and suppress the heat generation of the switch SW as the temperature of the cooling water rises.
Therefore, the output current can be reduced by changing the drooping control map to another drooping control map according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor St as in the second modification, so that the switch SW is destroyed by heat. Can be suppressed.
