Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a shaped article and a flower arrangement method.
The open-cell foam made of thermosetting resin is characterized by having elasticity through air and water, and a water-absorbing cleaner sponge that wipes off dirt by including liquid in the air bubbles, and dishware that contains detergent. It is used as a cushioning material for sponges, chairs and mattresses for washing cars and cars.
As a water-absorbing sponge that is an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin, for example, there is a floral foam. The floral form is used in a flower arrangement as a pedestal for inserting a fresh flower by absorbing water or inserting and fixing an artificial flower or preserved flower without absorbing water.
Floral foam is a material that can be easily cut, and is used as a pedestal for flower arrangement by cutting according to the size of a vase.
Floral foam is a porous sponge having good water absorption and has a unique texture. Floral foam, which is easy to form, has many colors, and has a unique texture, has attractive characteristics as a material for forming a molded article.
Floral foam has the properties of being "friable" and "easy to break" in order to avoid damaging the stem when inserting fresh flowers, and although it is easy to cut and excavate due to its properties, it is used as a shaped product Insufficient strength.
Patent Literature 1 below discloses a flowerpot using a floral foam. The following Patent Document 1 aims to use a floral foam as a flower pot, solidifies the surface of the floral foam with a synthetic resin paint film, and drains the planting hole and a part of the bottom from the part of the top to the bottom. Hole is provided.
In the invention of Patent Document 1, in order to use the floral foam as a flowerpot, the surface of the floral foam is solidified with a synthetic resin paint film to prevent evaporation of water, and a hole necessary for drainage is provided on the bottom surface.
When cutting and excavating floral foam, which is an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin, hold the shaped product firmly by hand during the formation, or finger the surface of the shaped product with a finger. When pressed, the part that applied force to the floral foam dents and does not return, so in order to use floral foam as a material of molded products, it is necessary to give strength that can withstand those forces .
Using an adhesive that does not easily penetrate into an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin, for example, an adhesive having a high viscosity and a high curing speed, a member is applied to a part of the surface of the household sponge that is the foam. If the member is touched with a finger after bonding, the member is easily separated from the foam. Even when the foam is a floral foam, due to its "friable" property, the powder of the floral foam adheres to the adhesive on the bonding surface, and the adhesive is peeled off from the floral foam body. Also, if the member is bonded with an adhesive having too low a penetration rate, for example, having a low viscosity and a low curing speed, the adhesive is absorbed by the foam and does not remain on the bonding surface. Cannot be glued.
Floral foam, which is an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin, has poor flexural strength due to its "friable" nature, and thus easily breaks when a plate-shaped or rod-shaped floral foam is bent by hand. For example, when a floral foam formed in a plate shape having a thickness of 3 mm is to be bent into a cylindrical shape by hand, it is necessarily broken.
An object of the present invention is to make an open-celled foam made of a thermosetting resin into an excellent molding material.
The inventor of the present application discloses an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin, a molded article formed by processing a floral foam as the foam, and a permeable layer that protects the surface of the foam. Further, since the floral form has a large number of colors, a desired color can be selected, or a desired color can be applied to a light colored floral form such as ivory with a coloring agent.
According to the present invention, a miniature-sized molded article can be easily produced. For example, it is possible to express the texture of the cross-section of the shaped product without breaking even if a shaped product of a floral foam imitating a hole cake formed in a size of 1/6 or 1/12 of the real product is cut with a cutter knife.
According to the invention according to claim 4, it is possible to change the texture of the finish of the shaped article by changing the type of the synthetic resin to be penetrated into the permeable layer.
For example, if a polyvinyl alcohol resin is used for the permeation layer, it is possible to make use of the texture without erasing the bubbles of the floral foam, and it is possible to produce a shaped article imitating a sponge cake.
In addition, the permeable layer can protect the surface of the shaped article and reinforce the bonding force of the layer overlapping the permeable layer and the bonding force between the adhesive for fixing the member to the shaped article and the permeable layer. .
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, by further providing a protective layer on the surface of the permeable layer, the molded article can have a higher strength than when only the protective layer is used.
According to a sixth aspect, the synthetic resin used in the protective layer has a decorative effect of changing the texture of the finished product. For example, if an acrylic resin-containing acrylic emulsion containing calcium carbonate, which is an acrylic resin, is used for the protective layer, a decoration simulating whipped cream can be formed with this protective layer.
According to the invention according to claim 7, by providing the surface of the shaped article formed in a plate shape or a rod shape with a permeable layer of a synthetic resin having flexibility, these shaped articles are given bending strength and bent. , Twisting becomes possible.
The synthetic resin having flexibility has elasticity after drying or curing the acrylic polymer emulsion by irradiating light of a specific wavelength to the photocurable resin.
According to the eighth aspect of the present invention, when a plate-shaped floral foam having a thickness of 3 mm is bent into a cylinder having a diameter (outer diameter) of 40 mm, it always breaks. (Outer diameter) It can be made into a cylindrical shape of 40 mm.
According to the invention of claim 9, a shaped article of a floral foam provided with a synthetic resin permeable layer treated according to the present invention, and a floral provided with a flexible synthetic resin permeable layer treated according to the present invention By combining a shaped article having a structure in which a foam is bent, a shaped article having a bent structure as a partial structure can be manufactured. For example, when making a shaped product imitating an apple tart, the part of the tart base is made of floral foam with a synthetic resin permeable layer, and the curved sliced apple part, which is the topping, is penetrated by flexible synthetic resin. By making them from floral foam with layers and bonding them together, a shaped product that imitates an apple tart can be completed.
According to the invention according to claim 10, by using a molded article of an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin, only as a “pedestal” or “sword mountain” of a flower arrangement which is a use of a conventional floral foam. Instead, it can be provided with a function as an "enchanting device." The shaped article with the function of "enchanting device" can be integrated with the flower arrangement as various model items, and it will be an unprecedented new flower arrangement method.
Hereinafter, a molded article having a permeable layer and a protective layer on the surface of a foam such as a floral foam of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to only these embodiments.
In the present invention, a penetrating layer 2 that penetrates from the surface of the foam to the inside to protect the surface is formed on the surface of the molded article 1 formed by processing an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin. A shaped article is provided. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view schematically showing the permeable layer 2. Regarding the range of the permeable layer 2, (a) shows the entire surface and (a ') shows the surface other than the bottom surface, and it is preferable to provide the permeable layer 2 on the surface to which strength needs to be imparted. When it is a shaped article intended to be put on a fixture and displayed, and it is not necessary to impart strength to the bottom surface, the permeation layer 2 is in the range shown by (a ').
When the permeation layer 2 is not provided inside from the surface of the modeled object 1 and a coating layer of a synthetic resin is provided outside the surface, for example, when a drop impact is applied to the modeled product, the coating layer of the foam and the synthetic resin is applied. Easily peels off. This is caused by the "fragile" nature of the molded article 1, and is caused by a part of the molded article 1 adhering to the bonding surface of the synthetic resin coating layer and peeling off from the main body.
In the present invention, the synthetic resin has penetrated into the osmotic layer 2 shown in FIGS. 1A and 1A ′, and the synthetic resin contained in the osmotic layer 2 is cured, whereby the shaped object 1 is hardened. The synthetic resin is in a state in which the root extends from the surface to the inside, and protects the surface of the molded article 1. The type of the synthetic resin is selected according to the strength of the surface required by the molded article 1 and the texture desired to be expressed by the molded article. For example, when the foam is formed into a molded product imitating a sponge cake, a polyvinyl alcohol resin is preferable, and when the foam is formed into a molded product imitating jelly, an acrylic resin or a photocurable resin is preferably used.
Additives can optionally be added to the synthetic resin for the osmotic layer. Typical examples of the additives are acrylic paints and pigments, and these colorants are selected to be mixed with the synthetic resin used for the permeable layer. In addition, the fragrance can be emitted from the shaped article by absorbing the fragrance into the inside of the foam. The permeable layer has a thickness of, for example, about 0.5 to 2 mm.
In the present invention, a molded article having a permeation layer 2 for protecting the surface inside the molded article 1 is provided on the surface of the molded article 1 formed by processing an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin. FIG. 2 is a vertical cross-sectional view schematically showing a protective layer 3 formed on the surface of a molded article having a permeation layer 2 that penetrates into the molded article 1 to protect the surface. Regarding the range of the protective layer 3, (b) shows the entire surface of the modeled object 1 and (b ′) shows a part of the surface of the modeled object 1. Strength is imparted. This protective layer 3 may be provided for the purpose of decoration. The protective layer 3 (b) is decorated while protecting the entire surface of the molded article, and the protective layer 3 can be provided with water resistance. The protective layer 3 of (b ') is intended for decoration. For example, a liquid layer imitating a fruit sauce can be provided by using a confectionery cake decoration method. For the protective layer 3 shown in FIG. 2, using one or more layers of polyvinyl alcohol resin, acrylic resin, photocurable resin, urethane resin, or silicone resin, the strength of the surface of the shaped article required, The type is selected according to the texture expressed by the model. The present invention relates to a shaped article and a method for manufacturing the shaped article .
According to the present invention, since an open-cell foam made of a thermosetting resin can be easily cut and excavated, it can be formed into an arbitrary shape, and the surface of a molded article formed by the foam is coated on the surface. By providing a protective permeable layer, strength can be imparted. The permeable layer plays a role of a primer when attaching a member to the surface of the foam. Since the foam has an open-cell structure and is excellent in gas and liquid permeability and retention, a permeable layer can be easily provided.
Since the shape of the pores of the phenolic resin or polyurethane resin foam and the pores of the porous body existing in nature are similar, it can be used as a modeling material utilizing the texture of the shape. For example, since the open-cell structure of a foam of a phenolic resin or a polyurethane resin is very similar to the open-cell structure of a sponge cake for confectionery, a molded article simulating a sponge cake is easily produced using the foam. be able to.
Floral foam is a material that can be easily cut and excavated, formed into any shape, and can be formed with household tools. For example, it can be easily die-cut using a confectionery die for cooking utensils for home use, and can be formed to a thickness of 2 mm with a slicer for vegetables.
Depending on the type of the synthetic resin that penetrates the permeation layer, the texture of the finished product can be changed.
For example, if a polyvinyl alcohol resin is used for the permeation layer, it is possible to make use of the texture without erasing the bubbles of the floral foam, and it is possible to produce a shaped article imitating a sponge cake.
In addition, the permeable layer can protect the surface of the shaped article and reinforce the bonding force of the layer overlapping the permeable layer and the bonding force between the adhesive for fixing the member to the shaped article and the permeable layer. .
By providing an additional protective layer on the surface of the permeable layer, the shaped article can have a higher strength than when only the protective layer is used.
The synthetic resin used in the protective layer has the decorative effect of changing the texture of the finished product. For example, if an acrylic resin-containing acrylic emulsion containing calcium carbonate, which is an acrylic resin, is used for the protective layer, a decoration simulating whipped cream can be formed with this protective layer.
By providing a permeable layer of a synthetic resin having flexibility on the surface of a plate-shaped or rod-shaped shaped product, the shaped product is given bending strength, and can be bent and twisted.
The synthetic resin having flexibility has elasticity after drying or curing the acrylic polymer emulsion by irradiating light of a specific wavelength to the photocurable resin.
If you try to bend it into a cylindrical shape with a diameter (outer diameter) of 40 mm with a 3 mm thick plate-shaped floral foam, it will always break, but by processing this patent, you will make a cylindrical shape with a diameter (outer diameter) of 40 mm be able to.
A molded product of a floral foam having a synthetic resin permeable layer treated according to this patent and a molded product having a structure obtained by bending a floral foam having a flexible synthetic resin permeable layer treated according to this patent By combining them, a shaped article having a bent structure as a partial structure can be manufactured.
By using a molded product of open-cell foam made of thermosetting resin, it can function not only as a pedestal and a sword mountain for flower arrangements, which are the applications of conventional floral foam, but also as an attractive device Can be provided. The shaped article with the function of "enchanting device" can be integrated with the flower arrangement as various model items, and it will be an unprecedented new flower arrangement method.
