Description

The present invention relates to a fan and exhaust path configuration of a range hood provided above a kitchen appliance such as a gas stove, an electromagnetic cooker, etc., for collecting smoke, hot air, and the like generated during cooking and discharging the hood to the outside.

Conventionally, as a method of reducing the amount of dust and dirt adhering to the fan of the range hood and the frequency of maintenance, a rotatable filter formed in the shape of a disk is provided upstream of the exhaust fan to catch oil and dust in the exhaust gas. 2. Description of the Related Art There is known a range hood that collects and collects oil and dust collected by rotating a disc-shaped filter at a high speed during an exhaust operation by an oil collecting member (for example, see Patent Document 1). Hereinafter, the range hood will be described with reference to FIG.

As shown in FIG. 8, an exhaust fan 105, a disk-shaped filter 110 upstream of the fan 105, and a motor 111 for rotating the filter at a high speed are provided, and the disk-shaped filter 110 is rotated at a high speed during the exhaust operation. Thus, it is possible to reduce the amount of dust and dirt adhering to the fan and prevent the filter from being clogged.

In such a conventional range hood, in addition to the motor of the exhaust fan, the motor for rotating the disc-shaped filter at a high speed also consumes power. There is a problem that noise is generated.

Therefore, the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a range hood with reduced noise and reduced power consumption.

In order to achieve this object, a range hood according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a hood main body having a suction port and an exhaust port, a blower built in the hood main body, and a control for controlling an air volume of the blower. And an axial direction of the blower is a horizontal direction, air blown out from a discharge port of the blower is blown vertically upward and is exhausted from the exhaust port, and the control unit includes: It has a normal operation mode and an oil scattering operation mode, wherein in the normal operation mode, the oil smoke sucked from the suction port is exhausted from the exhaust port, and in the oil scattering operation mode, the rotation is larger than the normal operation mode. The number of the blowers is to be operated, thereby achieving the intended purpose.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the amount of oil and dirt adhesion | attachment of an exhaust fan can be reduced by blowing off the oil dirt which once adhered to the fan by the oil scattering operation. In addition, since it is not necessary to rotate a disk-shaped filter or the like at high speed, a range hood with reduced power consumption during operation can be provided.

A range hood according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a hood main body having an intake port and an exhaust port, a blower built in the hood main body, and a control unit that controls a flow rate of the blower, and the axial direction of the blower is: In the horizontal direction, the air blown from the discharge port of the blower is blown vertically upward and exhausted from the exhaust port, and the control unit has a normal operation mode and an oil scattering operation mode, The normal operation mode is a mode in which oil smoke sucked in from the suction port is exhausted from the exhaust port, and the oil scattering operation mode is a mode in which the blower is operated at a higher (larger) rotation speed than the normal operation mode. Thus, by rotating the blower at a high speed in the oil scattering operation mode, dirt such as oil adhering to the blower is blown off, and there is an effect that the careability is improved. In addition, since the configuration is such that the rotation axis of the fan is horizontal and blows upward (the fan is installed vertically), the distance between the fan and the oil collecting mechanism can be increased, so that noise is reduced. It has the effect of becoming.

Further, the configuration may be such that the mode is shifted to the oil scattering operation mode after the end of the normal operation mode. Thus, the dirt such as oil adhering in the normal operation mode is blown off every time the operation is performed, so that there is an effect that dirt hardly accumulates in the blower.

Further, an oil collecting mechanism for collecting oil contained in the oil smoke sucked from the suction port is provided, and a casing having an oil vent hole includes a blower, and the oil contained in the oil smoke sucked from the suction port is After being attached to the inner wall of the casing, the oil collecting mechanism may be collected through the oil drain hole. Thereby, there is an effect that the oil blown off in the oil scattering operation mode can be efficiently collected by the oil collecting mechanism.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

(Embodiment 1)
The range hood according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided above a kitchen appliance (not shown) such as a gas stove or an IH stove. The range hood has a hood body 1, a current plate 4, an oil collecting mechanism 9, and a controller (not shown).

The hood main body 1 has a suction port 2 for sucking contaminated air, and an exhaust device 3 (duct cover). The exhaust device 3 has a fan 5, a fan motor 11, and a casing 6. The fan 5 is provided inside the hood main body 1 and exhausts the air sucked from the inlet 2. The fan 5 is provided with a discharge port so as to blow out vertically upward. The rotation axis direction of the fan 5 is horizontal. Note that the “horizontal” here includes not only perfect horizontal but also one tilted by about 10 degrees from horizontal (see FIG. 5B). In this manner, by inclining the fan 5 forward from the horizontal direction, the detachability at the time of cleaning the fan 5 is improved.

The casing 6 contains the fan 5. The casing 6 has a continuous wall surface on which oil dirt blown off by the oil scattering operation described later flows down to the oil collecting mechanism 9 and an oil drain hole 10 at the bottom. The oil drain hole 10 is provided, for example, at the center of the lower portion of the casing 6 and above the oil collecting mechanism 9. The oil stain adhering to the wall surface of the casing 6 is guided along the wall surface of the casing 6 to the oil drain hole 10 at the lower portion as shown by an arrow A in FIG. Then, the oil is dropped from the oil drain hole 10 to the oil collecting mechanism 9. In this way, by configuring the surface that flows down the wall surface of the casing 6 as a curved surface, it is possible to efficiently collect oil and dirt in the oil collecting mechanism 9. That is, oil and dirt blown off by the oil scattering operation described below flows down the wall of the casing 6 and can be efficiently collected in the oil collecting mechanism 9. In addition, since the oil flows directly from the oil drain hole 10 provided in the casing 6 to the oil collecting mechanism 9, a range hood which is easy to clean and minimizes components contaminated in the process of collecting the oil is provided. Can be provided.

The operation of the fan motor 11 causes the fan 5 to rotate.

The oil collecting mechanism 9 is attached to the hood main body 1. The oil collecting mechanism 9 is provided below the casing 6. The oil collecting mechanism 9 has, for example, a box shape, and is configured to collect oil by allowing air containing oil dirt to flow into the inside and contacting the inner wall of the oil collecting mechanism 9. Good.

The current plate 4 has a rectangular shape, for example, and is attached to the suction port 2. Air flows from the periphery of the current plate 4 into the suction port 2.

The top surface of the exhaust device 3 is provided with an exhaust port 12 that communicates via a duct or the like that communicates with the outside.

Inside the hood body 1 and the exhaust device 3, a ventilation path connecting the suction port 2 and the exhaust port 12 via the fan 5 is formed.

The oil collecting mechanism 9 is made of, for example, metal, and is provided between the fan 5 and the suction port 2 to collect oil smoke generated from kitchen appliances and dust floating around.

The control unit has a normal operation mode and an oil scattering operation mode.

The normal operation mode is a mode in which the contaminated air is sucked in from the suction port 2 by the operation of the fan 5 and exhausted from the exhaust port 12. In the normal operation mode, the configuration may be such that the user can select any one of “weak, medium, and strong” operations in which the rotation speed of the fan 5 is different. At this time, for example, the operation is such that the rotation speed of the fan increases in the order of low, medium, and high.

Further, the configuration may be such that the remaining operation is performed in the normal operation mode. Here, the residual operation refers to an operation of stopping the fan 5 after operating the fan 5 for a certain period of time after receiving the “off” signal, that is, the fan stop signal.

The oil scattering operation mode is a mode in which the fan 5 is rotated at a high speed every time the normal operation mode ends to blow off oil and dirt. The rotation speed of the fan 5 in the oil scattering operation mode is, for example, 1200 r / min. The rotation speed of the fan 5 in the oil scattering operation mode is higher than the rotation speed in the normal operation mode, particularly, in the remaining operation.

Here, the normal operation mode and the oil scattering operation mode will be described with reference to FIG.

After the start of the operation, the control unit detects whether the vehicle is operating in the normal operation mode. When the operation is not in the normal operation mode (for example, when the operation is in the oil scattering operation mode), the operation is terminated without performing the remaining operation after receiving the “OFF” signal.

When operating in any of the normal operation modes of “weak, medium, and strong”, the control unit detects whether the vehicle is operating in the normal operation mode for a certain period of time. When the operation has not been performed for a certain period of time, after receiving the “OFF” signal, the fan 5 is stopped without performing the remaining operation, and the operation is terminated. When the "OFF" signal is received after the operation has been performed for a certain period of time in the normal operation mode, the remaining operation is performed. Then, after performing the remaining operation, the operation mode is shifted from the normal operation mode to the oil scattering operation mode. Then, in the oil scattering operation mode, an oil scattering operation in which the fan 5 is rotated at a higher speed than the normal operation mode for a few seconds at the maximum rotation speed of the normal operation mode is performed. After the oil scattering operation is completed, the fan 5 is stopped, and the operation is terminated.

The “off” signal may be a fan stop signal from a control unit of the range hood or a fan stop signal from an associated cooking appliance.

With the above configuration, the dirt such as oil adhered in the normal operation mode is blown off every time the operation is performed, so that the dirt hardly accumulates in the blower, and the careability of the user is improved. Further, according to this configuration, it is not necessary to separately mount a motor for rotating the disc-shaped filter at a high speed, so that it is possible to provide a range hood with reduced operation power consumption.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, by installing the fan 5 so as to blow up (vertically), the distance between the oil collecting mechanism 9 and the fan 5 is increased. Thus, by arranging the oil collecting mechanism 9 and the fan 5 apart, the ventilation resistance is reduced, and the effect of noise reduction is achieved.

Here, the relationship between the reduction in ventilation resistance and the reduction in noise will be described with reference to FIG.

In a certain operation state, the blower is used at the intersection A between the “static pressure-air volume characteristic” and the ventilation resistance. Here, when the ventilation resistance decreases, the point of use moves to the intersection B in accordance with the static pressure-air volume characteristics, but the point of use moves to C by control for keeping the air volume constant. Since the use point C is operated at a lower rotational speed than A, the use point C has an effect of reducing noise.

As described above, in the range hood according to the present embodiment, since the distance between the fan and the filter is increased, the ventilation resistance is reduced, and noise can be reduced.

As described above, the range hood according to the present invention has been described based on the embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiment. Unless departing from the gist of the present invention, various modifications conceivable by those skilled in the art are applied to the present embodiment, and forms configured by combining components in different embodiments are also included in the scope of the present invention. .

Since the range hood according to the present invention reduces the adhesion of oil stains to a blower, it is also useful for a cabinet or the like installed on a kitchen wall.
