Claims (9)
- 電気光学ディスプレイのためのバックプレーンであって、
データラインと、
トランジスタと、
前記トランジスタを介して前記データラインに接続されるピクセル電極であって、前記ピクセル電極は、データライン/ピクセル電極静電容量を作り出すように前記データラインの一部に隣接して位置付けられる、ピクセル電極と、
前記データライン/ピクセル電極静電容量を低減させるように前記データラインの少なくとも一部に隣接して配置されるシールド電極と
を備える、バックプレーン。 - 前記シールド電極は、前記データラインに略平行に延在する、請求項1に記載のバックプレーン。
- 前記シールド電極は、前記データラインと略同一の形状を有する、請求項1に記載のバックプレーン。
- 前記シールド電極は、前記データラインよりも幅広い、請求項1に記載のバックプレーン。
- 前記データラインおよび前記シールド電極は、同一のデバイス層上に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載のバックプレーン。
- 前記データラインおよび前記シールド電極は、異なるデバイス層上に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載のバックプレーン。
- 前記シールド電極の一部は、前記ピクセル電極の真下に延在する、請求項1に記載のバックプレーン。
- 請求項1に記載のバックプレーンを備える電気光学ディスプレイであって、前記電気光学媒体は、回転二色部材またはエレクトロクロミック媒体である、ディスプレイ。
