Claims (2)
- 連続して設置された複数の段を含むメカニカルシールであって、各段は、
シャフトの上に位置するローターと、
前記ローターに接触している、ばねの力で軸方向へ移動可能なステーターと、
を含み、
前記ステーターは、ケーシングに対してOリングで密封されていると同時に、高圧空間と低圧空間とを連通させる隙間を制限しており、
前記ケーシングは、段状環とスラスト環とが連続して組み合わされた外筒を各段に1個ずつ含み、前記段状環は、前記外筒には密封され、前記ステーターには対向しており、前記スラスト環は、前記段状環と前記ステーターとの間で前記ばねとして機能し、
前記ステーターによって制限された隙間は、前記段状環に対して密封された、軸方向へ移動可能な段形状のピストンとして機能するように設計されており、それと共に、前記ピストンのうち、外径が小さい部分は高圧側、すなわち前記段状環に対するシールよりも前方に位置し、外径が大きい第2部分は低圧側、すなわち前記シールよりも後方で、かつ前記外筒の内側に位置し、
前記外筒のうち、前記ステーターに対向する外径の移行領域において、前記段状環には貫通穴が空けられ、前記ケーシングとステーターとの隙間を膨張槽に連通させている
ことを特徴とするメカニカルシール。
