Claims (8)
- 供給水を処理するためのバイオリアクターアセンブリであって、
i)断面積を有する内側チャンバを画定する内側周辺表面と、前記内側チャンバへの流体アクセスを提供するように適合された第1及び第2のポートと、を備える圧力容器(73)と、
ii)前記内側チャンバ内に位置する複数のバイオリアクター(52)であって、各バイオリアクターが、外周、及び入口領域から出口領域へ生物成長表面に沿って延びる流動チャネルを含む、複数のバイオリアクターと、
iii)供給水の供給源との接続のために適合され、かつ前記圧力容器の前記第1のポートから、各バイオリアクターへの平行流動パターンに沿って、各バイオリアクターの前記流動チャネルの中に、そして圧力容器の第2のポートの外へ延びる流体流動経路と、を備える、バイオリアクターアセンブリ。 - 前記バイオリアクターが、前記圧力容器の前記内側チャンバ内に直列配置で配置される、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- i)前記圧力容器の前記内側チャンバが、対向する端部の間の軸(Y’)に沿って延び、ii)前記流動チャネルの面積を除く、前記内側チャンバの前記断面積の少なくとも15、20、25、30%が、前記流体流動経路へアクセス可能な自由空間である、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記バイオリアクターの前記外周が、容積を画定し、前記流動チャネルが、前記バイオリアクターの前記容積の少なくとも65%を構成する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記バイオリアクターの前記外周と前記圧力容器の前記内側周辺表面との間に位置する少なくとも1つのスペーサーをさらに備え、前記スペーサーが、前記圧力容器の前記内側周辺表面と前記バイオリアクターの前記外周との間の前記流体流動経路を保持する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記バイオリアクターの前記外周が、容積を画定し、前記生物成長表面が、表面積を有し、生物成長表面積とバイオリアクターの容積の比率が、15cm−1〜150cm−1である、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- それぞれが複数のバイオリアクターを備える複数の圧力容器をさらに備え、前記個々の圧力容器が、供給水の前記供給源から延びる前記流体流動経路に対して並列配置で配置され、各圧力容器が、圧力容器からの流れを遮断するための弁を含み、それにより、圧力容器が、供給水の前記供給源から隔離され得る、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 下流に位置し、前記圧力容器の前記第2のポートに流体アクセスする濾過装置をさらに含み、前記圧力容器が集合的に、処理された供給水の供給源を前記濾過装置へ提供する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
