Description
Claims (20)
- 下記を含む摩擦材:
(A)結合面を提供するベース部;
(B)前記ベース部に浸透し、それと一体化され、さらに前記ベース部の前記結合面に対向する摩擦発生面を提供する摩擦発生層であって、
(i)フィブリル化ナノ繊維;
(ii)摩擦調整粒子;および
(iii)エラストマー粒子;を
含む摩擦発生層;および
(C)前記摩擦発生層および前記ベース部の全体に分散されている硬化性樹脂。 - 前記エラストマー粒子はISO 6310にしたがって試験を行ったときに約1〜約10%の圧縮率を有する、請求項1に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子はカシューナットシェルオイル、ゴムおよびこれらの組み合わせから由来する粒子から選択される、請求項1または2に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子はシリコーンゴム、スチレンブタジエンゴム、ブチルゴム、エチレンアクリルゴム、クロロブチルゴム、ブロモブチルゴム、ポリクロロプレンゴム、フッ素ゴム、フルオロエラストマー、およびこれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子がカシューナットシェルオイルから由来される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子が約40μm未満の平均直径を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子が約200℃以上の熱安定性を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子が前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり約3〜約15lbs(約278.7m2当たり約1.4〜約6.8kg)の量で存在する、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦調整粒子がシリカ、炭素、黒鉛、アルミナ、マグネシア、酸化カルシウム、チタニア、セリア、ジルコニア、コーディエライト、ムライト、シリマナイト、スポジュメン、ペタライト、ジルコン、炭化ケイ素、炭化チタン、炭化ホウ素、炭化ハフニウム、窒化ケイ素、窒化チタン、ホウ化チタンおよびこれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記エラストマー粒子がISO 6310にしたがって試験を行ったときに約1.5〜約7.5%の圧縮率を有し、前記摩擦調整粒子が約5〜約6.5のモース硬度を有する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦調整粒子は前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり約7〜約23lbs(約278.7m2当たり約3.2〜約10.4kg)の量で存在する、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦調整粒子および前記エラストマー粒子は約3:1〜約1:1の重量比で存在する、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記フィブリル化ナノ繊維はアクリル繊維、アラミド繊維、炭素繊維、セルロース繊維、およびこれらの組み合わせから選択され、前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり約1〜約6lbs(278.7m2当たり約0.5kg〜約2.7kg)の量で存在する、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦発生面と前記結合面の間の距離として定義される厚さを有し、前記摩擦発生層が前記摩擦発生面から前記結合面に向かって前記厚さの約40%まで延長する、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦発生層が前記フィブリル化ナノ繊維、前記摩擦調整粒子および前記エラストマー粒子から本質的になる、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記ベース部が前記摩擦発生層内に浸透し、前記フィブリル化ナノ繊維と混在する構造繊維を含む、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記ベース部が前記エラストマー粒子を実質的に含まない、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記硬化性樹脂がフェノール樹脂および/または変性フェノール樹脂であって、前記硬化性樹脂が前記摩擦材の100重量部を基準に約50重量%未満の量で存在する、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材。
- 硬化した請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦材を含み、前記硬化した摩擦材の前記ベース部の前記結合面が基板に結合される、摩擦板。
- 下記を含む摩擦材:
(A)結合面を提供するベース部;
(B)前記ベース部に浸透し、それと一体化され、さらに前記ベース部の前記結合面に対向する摩擦発生面を提供する摩擦発生層であって、
(i)セルロースを含み、約1mm〜約10mmの平均長さおよびカナダ標準ろ水度にしたがって測定するとき、約10mlのCSF〜約300mlのCSFの平均フィブリル化程度を有するフィブリル化ナノ繊維であって、前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり約1〜約6lbs(278.7m2当たり約0.5〜約2.7kg)の量で存在するフィブリル化ナノ繊維;
(ii)珪藻土を含み、前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり約7〜約23lbs(278.7m2当たり約3.2〜約10.4kg)の量で摩擦発生層に存在する摩擦調整粒子;
(iii)カシューナットシェルオイルから由来され、約40μmの平均直径を有するエラストマー粒子であって、前記摩擦発生面の3000ft2当たり約3〜約15lbs(278.7m2当たり約1.4〜約6.8kg)の量で存在するエラストマー粒子;を
含む摩擦発生層;および
(C)前記摩擦発生層および前記ベース部の全体に前記摩擦材の100重量部を基準に約40重量%未満の量で存在する硬化性樹脂。
