- 前記デバイスは、前記アンテナコイルアレイを通る窓を備え、前記発光器アレイの少なくとも1つの発光器は、前記窓を通して前記皮膚表面の一部を照明するように構成される、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記アンテナコイルアレイおよび前記発光器アレイに動作可能に結合されたコントローラを更に備え、前記コントローラは、
(i)前記埋め込みデバイスへ無線電力を供給すること、または(ii)前記埋め込みデバイスからの無線伝送を受信することの少なくとも1つのために前記アンテナコイルアレイのアンテナコイルを動作させること、および
(i)前記埋め込みデバイスへ光無線電力を供給すること、または(ii)前記埋め込みデバイスの光センサへ照明を供給することの少なくとも1つのために前記発光器アレイの発光器を動作させること
を備えるコントローラ動作を実行するようにプログラムされたコンピューティングデバイスを備える、
請求項9に記載のデバイス。 - 前記アンテナコイルアレイの各アンテナコイルが結合された無線周波スイッチと、
前記無線周波スイッチに動作可能に結合されたコントローラと
を更に備え、前記コントローラは、
(i)前記埋め込みデバイスへ無線電力を供給すること、または(ii)前記埋め込みデバイスからの無線伝送を受信することの少なくとも1つのために前記アンテナコイルアレイのアンテナコイルを動作させること
を備えるコントローラ動作を実行するようにプログラムされたコンピューティングデバイスを備え、前記アンテナコイルアレイの前記アンテナコイルを動作させることは、前記アンテナコイルを前記コントローラに結合するために前記無線周波スイッチを動作させることを備える、
請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記アンテナコイルアレイの各アンテナコイルは、それぞれの整合回路を介して前記無線周波スイッチに結合される、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 前記アンテナコイルアレイに動作可能に結合されたコントローラを更に備え、前記コントローラは、
前記アンテナコイルアレイのアンテナコイルを選択することであって、前記アンテナコイルアレイのアンテナコイルを選択することは、(a)各アンテナコイルによって受信された無線周波信号の受信信号強度を検出すること、および(b)前記アンテナコイルアレイのどのアンテナコイルが最大受信信号強度を有するかを決定することを備えること、および
前記選択されたアンテナコイルを動作させることであって、前記選択されたアンテナコイルを動作させることは、(i)前記埋め込みデバイスへ無線電力を供給すること、または(ii)前記埋め込みデバイスからの無線伝送を受信することの少なくとも1つを備えること
を備えるコントロール動作を実行するようにプログラムされたコンピューティングデバイスを備える、
請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - リーダデバイスを皮膚表面に取り付けることであって、前記リーダデバイスは、前記皮膚表面の特定の領域にかかるアンテナコイルアレイを備え、前記皮膚表面の下に埋め込みデバイスが埋め込まれ、前記アンテナコイルアレイの各アンテナコイルは、前記埋め込みデバイスのアンテナとのそれぞれの度合の電磁的結合を有することと、
前記アンテナコイルアレイのアンテナコイルを選択することと、
前記選択されたアンテナコイルを動作させることであって、前記選択されたアンテナコイルを動作させることは、(i)前記埋め込みデバイスへ無線電力を供給すること、または(ii)前記埋め込みデバイスからの無線伝送を受信することの少なくとも1つを備えることと
を備える方法。 - 前記アンテナコイルアレイの少なくとも1つのアンテナコイルは、約3ミリメートル〜約3.5ミリメートルの径を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記リーダデバイスは接触層を更に備え、前記接触層は、前記アンテナコイルアレイが前記皮膚表面に近接して取り付けられると、前記皮膚表面と接触し、前記皮膚表面と前記アンテナコイルアレイとの間に配置されるように構成され、前記接触層は、約0.1ミリメートル〜約0.4ミリメートルの厚さを有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナコイルアレイのアンテナコイルを選択することは、
各アンテナコイルによって受信された無線周波信号の受信信号強度を検出することと、
前記アンテナコイルアレイのどのアンテナコイルが最大受信信号強度を有するかを決定することと
を備える、
請求項15に記載の方法。 - 所与のアンテナコイルによって受信される前記無線周波信号は、前記所与のアンテナコイルによって送信された無線周波エネルギに応答して前記埋め込みデバイスによって送信される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記リーダデバイスは発光器アレイを備え、前記アンテナコイルアレイの各アンテナコイルは前記発光器アレイの少なくとも1つの発光器に関連し、
前記埋め込みデバイスに向かって光を射出するために前記発光器アレイの少なくとも1つの発光器を動作させることであって、前記動作された少なくとも1つの発光器は前記選択されたアンテナコイルに関連し、前記少なくとも1つの発光器を動作させることは、(i)前記埋め込みデバイスへ無線電力を供給すること、または(ii)前記埋め込みデバイスの光センサを照明することの少なくとも1つを備える、
