Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a knitting method of a pile knitted fabric capable of forming a place where there is a pile loop in the course direction of the pile knitted fabric and a place where there is no pile loop, and a sinker and a flat knitting machine suitable for the knitting method of the pile knitted fabric.
Conventionally, a pile knitted fabric having a pile loop has been knitted by pile knitting using a flat knitting machine including a needle bed in which a plurality of knitting needles are arranged and a sinker floor in which a plurality of sinkers are arranged. ing. For example,
In pile knitting using a flat knitting machine, a ground yarn serving as a base of a pile knitted fabric is fed from a preceding yarn feeder, and pile yarns forming a pile loop are fed from a subsequent yarn feeder. The ground yarn and the pile yarn are separated by a knitting yarn locking hook provided on the knitting needle and sorted by a pile hook nail of a sinker. As a result of this sorting, a base loop, which is a sinker loop made of ground yarn, is formed on the ground thread engaging surface, which is the upper end edge surface of the sinker ground thread hook, and the upper edge of the sinker pile hook hook A pile loop, which is a sinker loop composed of pile yarn, is formed on the pile locking surface which is a surface. A pile loop larger than the base loop is formed by knit with a knitting needle while the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted. In this case, the pile loop is formed so as to protrude to the inside of the glove. Here, the sinker loop is a loop composed of knitting yarns connecting adjacent knit loops formed by knitting needles.
As described above, the sinker that performs pile knitting has a function of sorting the ground yarn and the pile yarn, and a function of maintaining the state where the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted until the knitting by the knitting needle is finished, have. The former function is carried by the pile hooking claw of the sinker, and the latter function is carried by the pile locking surface. Here, the sinker is attached to the sinker groove of the sinker floor, and moves forward and backward along the extending direction of the sinker groove in order to press the sinker loop during knitting of the knit loop. If the pile loop easily falls off from the pile locking surface to the extent that the sinker is slightly advanced and retracted, it is difficult to maintain the state where the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted. Therefore, the pile locking surface is substantially parallel to the advancing / retreating direction of the sinker. When the sinker is viewed alone, the sliding contact surface that comes into sliding contact with the bottom surface of the sinker groove when the sinker is disposed in the sinker groove is parallel to the advancing / retreating direction of the sinker. Based on this sliding contact surface, the pile locking surface is substantially parallel to the sliding contact surface.
In the method of knitting a pile knitted fabric of
Therefore, one of the objects of the present invention is to provide a knitting method of a pile knitted fabric in which a portion having a pile loop and a portion having no pile loop are mixed in the same course. Another object of the present invention is to provide a sinker and a flat knitting machine suitable for the knitting method of the pile knitted fabric.

The knitting method of the pile knitted fabric of the present invention is:
When knitting a pile knitted fabric using a flat knitting machine including a needle bed having a plurality of knitting needles and a sinker floor having a plurality of sinkers,
By classifying the ground yarn from the preceding yarn feeder toward the knitting needle and the pile yarn from the subsequent yarn feeder toward the knitting needle by the sinker, the base loop constituted by the ground yarn and the pile yarn are configured. In a knitting method of a pile knitted fabric in which pile knitting is performed in which knits are performed with the knitting needles while the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted in a state where the pile loop is formed at different positions of the sinker.
When knitting a predetermined course of the pile knitted fabric, in addition to the pile knitting, the ground yarn and the pile yarn are once sorted in the same manner as the pile knitting, and then the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted. Pile cancellation knitting is performed in which knit is performed in a state where the problem is resolved.

The flat knitting machine of the present invention
A needle bed in which a plurality of knitting needles are arranged, and a sinker floor in which a plurality of sinkers for sorting ground yarn supplied to the knitting needles from a preceding yarn feeder and pile yarn supplied to the knitting needles from a subsequent yarn feeder are arranged. In a flat knitting machine comprising:
A part of the plurality of sinkers is the sinker of the present invention.
In the pile elimination knitting in the knitting method of the pile knitted fabric, the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted to form a pile loop once, and then the state where the ground yarn and the pile yarn are sorted is eliminated. When knitting with knitting yarn is performed in a state where the ground yarn and pile yarn are not sorted, the pile loop is pulled by the knitting needle, and by the advance of another sinker on both sides of the sinker to which the pile loop is locked The pile loop yarn is absorbed. As a result, the pile loop is reduced to almost the same size as the base loop. A pile loop that is approximately the same size as the base loop does not have the function originally required, but is merely a sinker loop. By performing such pile elimination knitting when the knitted fabric portion is knitted for one course, it is possible to mix a portion where there is a pile loop and a portion where there is no pile loop in the same course.
Here, in order to mix a part with a pile loop and a part without a pile loop on the same course, it is considered to perform a knitting that does not form a pile loop without sorting the ground yarn and the pile yarn while repeating the pile knitting. It is done. However, once the separation between the ground yarn and the pile yarn is canceled and the ground yarn and the pile yarn are integrated, it is difficult to separate the ground yarn and the pile yarn again, and the surface of the pile knitted fabric is large. It may be distorted or pile knitted fabric may not be knitted. On the other hand, like the pile elimination knitting in the present invention, the ground yarn and the pile yarn were sorted in another sinker adjacent to the sinker whose sorting was eliminated by taking time and effort to form a pile loop once. The state can be maintained. As a result, the knitting after pile elimination knitting (which may be pile knitting or pile elimination knitting) can be stabilized, and disturbance of the surface of the knitted fabric portion can be suppressed.
According to the flat knitting machine of the present invention using the sinker of the present invention, pile elimination knitting can be easily performed. This is because the pile locking surface of the sinker of the present invention is inclined so as to be lowered toward the tip, so that the pile loop once formed easily falls off the pile locking surface and moves to the ground yarn locking surface. . Since the base loop is originally locked on the ground yarn locking surface, when the pile loop is dropped on the ground yarn locking surface, the ground yarn and the pile loop are not sorted. When knitting with the knitting needle is performed in this state, the pile loop is pulled by the knitting needle and becomes smaller, and becomes almost the same size as the base loop.
Hereinafter, embodiments of a knitting method of a pile knitted fabric, a sinker, and a flat knitting machine of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

In this embodiment, a schematic configuration of a flat knitting machine will be described first, and then a method of knitting a pile knitted fabric using the flat knitting machine will be described.

In this case, the yarn feeder provided on the yarn feeder 8 on the back side of the paper is the preceding yarn feeder for feeding the
≪Pile knitting method≫
In the knitting method of the pile knitted fabric, the pile knitting is performed when the pile knitted fabric is knitted for one course by using the
[Pile organization]
The pile knitting is a knitting conventionally performed. Briefly describing the pile knitting, the knitting with the
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing one
The movement of the
For the pile knitting in this example, a
The
The ground
FIG. 6 shows the locked state of the
At timing B in FIG. 2, the
As the
[Pile cancellation organization]
The pile elimination knitting is a new knitting that has not existed before. The pile elimination knitting will be briefly described with reference to FIG. 1. The
The movements of the
In the pile elimination knitting, a modified
FIG. 4 shows the locked state of the
At timing B in FIG. 2, the

By performing the pile knitting and the pile elimination knitting described above when the pile knitted fabric is knitted for one course, a portion where the
≪Comparative example≫
Here, in addition to the knitting method shown in the first embodiment, the following two knitting methods were tried as a knitting method in which a part having a pile loop and a part having no pile loop are mixed in the same course.
(1) The
(2) The
However, it was found that the surface of the pile knitted fabric was greatly disturbed by any knitting method. The knitting methods (1) and (2) are knitting methods in which the
