Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a polymerizable monomer, a curable composition, and a dental adhesive composition.
(Meth) acrylate-based polymerizable monomers are widely used in dental materials such as dental curable compositions and dental adhesives, optical materials, printing plate making, photoresist materials, paints, adhesives, inks, and optical molding resins. It is available at. In particular, in a dental adhesive composition, a phosphoric acid group-containing polymerizable monomer exemplified in Patent Documents 1 to 3, a carboxylic acid group-containing polymerizable monomer exemplified in Patent Documents 4 and 5, and a patent document It is known that the sulfonic acid group-containing polymerizable monomer exemplified in 5 and 6 plays an important role in demineralization of the smear layer of the tooth and adhesion to the tooth.
Since the various polymerizable monomers described above have an acidic group, the compatibility with a polymerizable monomer having no acidic group is low. For example, bisphenol A diglycidyl di (meth) acrylate (Bis- In order to mix with a polymerizable monomer such as GMA) or triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA), there is a drawback that the handling is complicated such as a long stirring operation and heating. In addition, the salt compound of calcium ions derived from the tooth and the acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer deposited after demineralizing the smear layer contains an acidic group with respect to the polymerizable monomer having no acidic group. It is much less soluble than the polymerizable monomer itself and has low compatibility. When the compatibility between these salt compounds and other components is low, it becomes one of the factors that inhibit adhesion, and it is considered that sufficient adhesion cannot be obtained.
An object of the present invention is a polymerizable monomer having high compatibility with a polymerizable monomer having an acidic group but having no acidic group, An object of the present invention is to provide an acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer having high compatibility with a polymerizable monomer having no acidic group.
The present inventor synthesized various polymerizable monomers in order to solve the above problems. As a result, the present inventors have found that the above problem can be solved by using an acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer into which a functional group having a high dielectric constant is introduced as a compatibility-improving functional group, and the present invention has been completed.
That is, the present invention is an acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer containing a compatibility-enhancing functional group, and is a polymerizable monomer represented by the following general formula (1).

[In General formula (3), B and X 'are synonymous with what is shown in General formula (2). o ′, q ′, and r ′ are each an integer of 0 to 8. ]
Another invention is a curable composition comprising the polymerizable monomer (I) comprising the polymerizable monomer of the present invention and a polymerization initiator.
The curable composition of the present invention preferably further contains an acidic group-free polymerizable monomer in addition to the polymerizable monomer of the present invention.
The curable composition of the present invention can be suitably used for a dental adhesive composition.
The polymerizable monomer of the present invention has high compatibility with a polymerizable monomer that has an acidic group but has no acidic group, and facilitates operation during mixing. Can do. In addition, the polymerizable monomer of the present invention has high compatibility in the state of a salt compound with an inorganic salt. When the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is used as an adhesive composition and a salt compound is produced at the time of adhesion, a salt compound having low compatibility with the surrounding polymerizable monomer is caused by precipitation or decrease in polymerizability. Reduce adhesion. It is thought that the salt compound of the polymerizable monomer having low compatibility is likely to precipitate at the interface between the tooth surface and the adhesive (dental adhesive composition). . On the other hand, since the salt compound formed by the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is highly compatible, when the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is used as a dental adhesive composition, the salt compound Precipitation at the interface is suppressed or dispersed on the adhesive material side, so that the abundance ratio of the salt compound at the interface can be reduced, and as a result, the adhesiveness can be improved.
The polymerizable monomer of the present invention is represented by the following general formula (1).
Here, in the general formula (1), R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. Y is —O— or —NR 2 — (R 2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms). L is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 5 to 20 carbon atoms having at least one monovalent or divalent functional group derived from the compound X having a relative dielectric constant of 5 or more, and the carbon atom is an oxygen atom , Sulfur atom or nitrogen atom may be substituted.
The polymerizable monomer of the present invention is highly compatible with a polymerizable monomer having no acidic group, and can be easily mixed with a polymerizable monomer having no acidic group. In addition, the adhesive composition containing the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is a polymerizable monomer having no acidic group of the salt compound of the polymerizable monomer of the present invention produced by reaction with an inorganic salt or an organic salt. High compatibility with etc. As a result, high adhesiveness can be expressed even in an environment where a salt compound is generated. Such an effect is achieved by having a feature having an acidic group and a functional group having a high dielectric constant as a design of the polymerizable monomer. The present inventors estimate the reason why such an effect is obtained as follows.
First, the reason why the operation during mixing is easy is considered to be because a functional group based on a skeleton of a compound having a high dielectric constant is added. Generally, amide solvents such as dimethylacetamide and dimethylformamide, sulfoxide solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide, cyclic ether solvents such as tetrahydrofuran, solvents having a lactam ring such as methylpyrrolidone, carbonate solvents, etc. Is known to have a high dielectric constant of 5 or more and a high compatibility with a compound that is hardly soluble in ordinary organic solvents such as salt compounds. These solvents are easily compatible with organic solvents such as acetone, which are generally used as solvents. Therefore, compatibility with a wide range of polarizable polymerizable monomers and catalysts is improved by providing a polymerizable monomer with a skeleton of a compound having a high dielectric constant having a relative dielectric constant of 5 or more. It is thought to do.
The reason why the compatibility of the salt compound is excellent is that, as described above, the polymerizable monomer of the present invention has a functional group based on a skeleton of a compound having a high dielectric constant and does not have an acidic group. This is because the compatibility with the polymerizable monomer is high. In addition, even if the polymerizable monomer of the present invention forms a salt compound, the polymerizable monomer of the present invention has a skeleton of the solvent in which the solubility of the salt compound is high. It is thought that the dispersibility with respect to a polymerizable monomer etc. is improved and precipitation of a salt compound is suppressed. As a result, for example, when the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is used in a dental adhesive composition, it adheres to an adherend such as a tooth that produces a salt compound on the adhesive interface with the dental adhesive composition. However, since the salt compound that inhibits adhesion is easily dispersed in the dental adhesive composition, it is considered that the adhesion is excellent.

In X 1 -4, R 31, R 41 is a hydrogen atom or, a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, R 31 is preferably a hydrogen atom or, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms R 41 is preferably a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms.
In X 2 -2, R 32 , R 42 and R 52 are a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and R 32 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. R 42 and R 52 are preferably a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms.
The polymerizable monomer of the present invention includes a compound having a high dielectric constant by having a monovalent or divalent functional group derived from the compound X having a relative dielectric constant of 5 or more in L. The inventors consider that the compound has an effect of improving the compatibility of the compound, and speculates that the functional group exhibits compatibility by interfering with the intermolecular interaction of the compound having a high dielectric constant. ing. Therefore, it is assumed that the functional group is more likely to interfere with the interaction with a compound having a high dielectric constant if it is designed to move relatively freely rather than being fixed in the polymerizable monomer. Is done. Therefore, as a specific example of L, the functional group as exemplified in L-2 has a structure in L as exemplified in L-1 rather than the structure fixed in the main chain in L. It is more preferable that the structure is not fixed to the main chain.
In addition, from the viewpoint of a design in which a monovalent or divalent functional group derived from a compound X having a relative dielectric constant of 5 or more easily interferes with intermolecular interaction with a compound having a high dielectric constant, More preferably, the interaction between the group and the compound having a high dielectric constant does not suffer from steric hindrance of the main chain. That is, the functional group is preferably present at a position relatively distant from the main chain in L. On the other hand, when the functional group exists away from the main chain, the effect on the compatibility of the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is reduced. Therefore, the structure of the polymerizable monomer having high compatibility with the high dielectric constant compound preferably has 2 to 8 atoms between the functional group and the main chain in L-1. 5 is more preferable.

R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.

<Examples 7 to 12, Comparative Examples 1 and 2 Preparation of Dental Adhesive Composition>
A polymerizable monomer containing a phosphoric diester skeleton and a polymerizable monomer not containing a phosphoric diester skeleton are mixed at a predetermined mass ratio shown in Table 1, and 100 parts by mass of a mixture of these polymerizable monomers is added. On the other hand, after adding 0.5 parts by mass of CQ, 1.0 part by mass of DMBE, and 0.1 parts by mass of BHT, the mixture was stirred in the dark until uniform. Thereby, a dental adhesive composition was obtained.
Table 1 shows the composition of the dental adhesive composition prepared using the phosphoric acid group-containing polymerizable monomer and the result of the adhesion test.
From comparison between Examples 7 to 12 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the compound of the present invention is compared with known MEP and MDP having no functional group derived from Compound X having a relative dielectric constant of 5 or more. It can be seen that the adhesive strength is high. This is because the polymerizable monomer of the present invention is highly compatible with a polymerizable monomer having no acidic group, and has an acidic group even if the polymerizable monomer of the present invention becomes a salt compound. Because of the high compatibility with non-polymerizable monomers, the salt compound produced by the calcium ions derived from the tooth and the acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer generated by decalcification is used to bond the tooth surface and the adhesive composition. This is considered to be because it was not precipitated at the interface with the resin and dispersed in the adhesive composition. From the comparison between Example 11 and Example 12, the functional group derived from the compound X having a relative dielectric constant of 5 or more in L in the general formula (1) is in the side chain rather than in the main chain. It can be seen that the effect of improving adhesiveness is greater. From the comparison between Examples 8 and 9 and Example 10, it can be seen that the pyrrolidone skeleton or the tetrahydrofuran skeleton has a greater effect of improving the adhesiveness than the ethylene carbonate skeleton. This shows that the effect of improving the adhesiveness is greater when the relative dielectric constant of the compound corresponding to the introduced functional group is 50 or less.
