ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1において、
上記表面処理された金属粒子は、上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層に色を付ける
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項2において、
上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層の色は、上記金属基体の色から視覚的に識別可能である
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項3において、
上記表面処理された金属粒子は、上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層に、金色、橙色、または黄色を付ける
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項において、
上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層は、約5〜40重量%の上記表面処理された金属粒子を有する
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項において、
上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層は、約24〜28重量%の上記表面処理された金属粒子を有する
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項において、
上記金属粒子は、アルミニウム片を含む
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項7において、
上記表面処理されたアルミニウム片は、最大寸法に沿って約5〜30μmのD50サイズを有する
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項において、
上記金属粒子は、制御された酸化プロセスにより表面処理されている
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項において、
上記金属粒子は、該金属粒子の表面を金属酸化物で被覆することにより表面処理されている
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項10において、
上記金属酸化物の金属は、上記金属粒子の金属とは異なる
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項10または11において、
上記金属酸化物は、着色遷移金属酸化物である
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項において、
上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層は、約3〜17μmの厚みを有する
ことを特徴とするエンジン用の滑り要素。 - 請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の滑り要素を備えたエンジン。
- エンジン用の滑り要素を製造する方法であって、
ポリマーベースマトリクスを提供するステップと、
表面処理された金属粒子を含むスラリーを提供するステップと、
上記スラリーを上記ポリマーベースマトリクスに混ぜるステップと、
上記ポリマーベースマトリクスおよび上記スラリーの混合物を金属基体に塗布するステップと、
上記ポリマーベースマトリクスおよび上記スラリーの混合物を硬化して、表面処理された金属粒子を有するポリマーベースオーバーレイ層を形成するステップとを含み、
上記金属粒子は、上記ポリマーベースオーバーレイ層に上記金属基体の色と目に見えて異なる色を与えるように表面処理されている
ことを特徴とする方法。
