Abstract
Description
我々が相互作用する物体の病原菌負荷を最小限に抑えるために、安価で効果的でありながら、安全で便利な方法が必要である。この方法は、将来の治療に耐性を有する病原菌を残してはならない。そして、この必要性は、事実上全ての既知の抗生物質に耐性のある病原菌がより一般的になりつつあるため、より切実となっている。
本明細書に開示された発明は、表面に適用する前の任意の点でのヨウ素の形成に関連する不安定性、溶解性及びヒトに対する安全性の問題を排除することによって、ヨウ素化学を用いた表面消毒の改善を提供する。開示された発明は、別個の適用ステップにおいて非常に低いレベルでヨウ素生成反応化合物(reactant compound)を分散させ、消毒すべき表面上に直接ヨウ素殺生物剤を形成することによって表面を消毒する改良された方法を提供する。
本開示は、特に、2回以上の別々の適用においてヨウ素殺生物剤の反応化合物を適用することによって、その場でそれらの標的上でヨウ素殺生物剤を生成させることによる、部屋、エリア、及びそれらのエリア内の表面を滅菌するための方法に関する。本明細書に記載の方法は、全ての反応成分が適用された後にのみ、ヨウ素殺生物剤が標的上に直接形成されるため、より安全である。

Claims (12)
- 以下を含む、エリア内における消毒が必要な表面を消毒する方法:
過酸化物化合物又はヨウ素塩化合物のいずれかである第1の反応化合物を含む第1の水性組成物の複数の液滴を前記エリアに分散させること;
前記第1の水性組成物が、前記エリア全体に分散し、前記表面上において堆積し固化して層になるのに十分な時間を与えること;
前記第1の反応化合物の他方である第2の反応化合物を含む第2の水性組成物の複数の液滴を前記エリアに分散させること;
前記第2の水性組成物の前記液滴が前記第1の水性組成物の固化した層上に堆積して反応層を形成するのに十分な第2の時間を与え、それにより、ヨウ素の殺生物剤反応化合物を前記反応層上にその場で形成させ、前記表面を消毒すること。 - 分散した第1の水性組成物の量が、少なくとも約1ミクロンから約20ミクロンまでの実質的に均一な厚さを有する前記第1の水性組成物の固化した層を提供するのに十分である、請求項1に記載の方法。
