着座面の側の表層パッドと、該表層パッドの前記着座面の反対側に層状に一体化される前記表層パッドより硬質かつ低密度な裏層パッドと、を備えており、
該裏層パッドにおける少なくとも着座乗員の座圧が印加される方向に略平行な方向に延びるとともに前記表層パッドと当接する面には、横断面が前記表層パッドの側に向かって開口する略U字状で着座乗員の座圧が印加される方向に略平行な方向に延びる複数の溝が設けられ、
該溝の中に前記表層パッドの一部が侵入した状態で前記表層パッドと前記裏層パッドとが一体化されている乗物用シートパッド。
