Abstract
Description
図1A〜Cおよび図2A〜Cは、実施の形態1に係る面光源装置100の構成を示す図である。図1Aは、面光源装置100の平面図であり、図1Bは、側面図であり、図1Cは、正面図である。図2Aは、図1Aにおいて光拡散部材140を外した平面図であり、図2Bは、面光源装置100の模式的な断面図であり、図2Cは、図1Aに示されるA−A線における部分拡大断面図である。なお、以下の説明では、発光素子131の光軸OAに平行な方向をZ方向とし、Z方向と直交し、かつ複数の発光装置130の配列方向をY方向とし、Z方向およびY方向に垂直な方向をX方向として説明する。また、1個の発光装置130について説明する場合は、発光素子131の発光中心を原点として、X方向の軸をX軸とし、Y方向の軸をY軸とし、Z方向の軸をZ軸として説明する。
なお、この確認では、発光装置から−90°以下および+90°以上の方向への出射光の光度を測定された配光特性データを用いることとする。
以上のように、本実施の形態に係る面光源装置100、200は、発光装置130から出射され、直接光拡散部材140に到達する光で光拡散部材140の中央部分を主として照らし、発光装置130から出射され、基板120で反射した光で光拡散部材140の中央部分よりもやや外側の部分を照らし、発光装置130から出射され、第1斜面112で反射した光で光拡散部材140の外側の部分を照らすため、全体として光拡散部材140を均一に照らすことができる。

Claims (6)
- 開口部を有する箱状の筐体と、前記筐体内に配置された基板と、前記基板上に一方向に配列された複数の発光装置と、前記開口部を覆うように配置された光拡散部材とを有する面光源装置であって、
前記複数の発光装置は、
発光素子と、
前記発光素子から出射された光の配光を制御する光束制御部材とをそれぞれ有し、
前記筐体は、
前記基板が配置された底面と、
前記複数の発光装置の配列方向と平行に、かつ前記底面を挟んで両側に配置される斜面とを有し、
前記斜面は、前記複数の発光装置の配列方向に対して垂直な断面において、前記底面から離れるにつれて、前記光拡散部材に近づくように傾斜し、
前記発光装置の配光特性において、最大光度の70%以上の光度が示される角度範囲のうち前記光軸に対して最も大きな角度の光線は、前記斜面に直接到達するか、または前記底面に一回反射した後に前記斜面に到達し、
前記発光素子の光軸と、前記発光装置から出射された最大光度の光線とのなす第1角度は、前記発光素子の光軸と、前記発光素子の発光中心と前記開口部側の前記斜面の端部とを繋ぐ直線とのなす第2角度より大きい、
面光源装置。 - 前記複数の発光装置は、前記基板上に一列に配列されている、請求項1に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記2つの斜面は、それぞれ平面である、請求項1または請求項2に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記光束制御部材は、
前記発光素子の光軸と交わるように裏側に配置され、前記発光素子から出射された光を入射させる入射面と、
表側に配置され、前記入射面で入射した光の一部を、前記発光素子の光軸と略垂直であり、かつ互いに略反対向きである方向にそれぞれ反射させる2つの反射面と、
前記2つの反射面を挟んで、前記光軸に垂直な方向であって、かつ前記発光装置の配列方向に垂直な方向において互いに対向するように配置され、前記2つの反射面で反射された光および前記入射面で入射した光をそれぞれ外部に出射させる2つの出射面とを有する、
請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の面光源装置。 - 前記発光素子の光軸と、前記基板の表面に対する法線とは、平行である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の面光源装置。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の面光源装置と、
前記光拡散部材の上に配置された表示部材とを有する、表示装置。
