Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a warehouse management system that improves the efficiency of storage and retrieval management in a warehouse.
There is known an automatic conveyance device which automatically conveys goods received in a warehouse on pallets to designated locations. There is also well known an apparatus for automatically performing an operation of moving an item put on a pallet from one place in a warehouse to another place (Patent Document 1).
As described above, it is relatively easy to automate the operation of moving the item put on the pallet. On the other hand, the task of taking out the specified number of items out of the items stacked on the shelf or pallet requires image recognition, identification of items, and grabbing of items Therefore, an expensive robot with a complicated control mechanism is required (Patent Document 2).
Therefore, a system that relies on man rather than a robot for picking operation for picking and packing a specified number of items for each shipping destination is widespread.
The known prior art has the following problems to be solved.
In order to improve the efficiency of the picking operation described above, there is known an automatic device for moving a pallet loaded with items to be picked to the operator who performs the picking operation (Patent Document 3). However, it becomes essential to have a storage form in which all items can be automatically transported to the picking location.
In addition, an automatic device for receiving picked items in accordance with a worker picking items and transporting the picked items to a place for packing and shipping is also developed and introduced by the company Effidence in France. However, this device requires an autopilot function that follows the worker while communicating with the worker.
The present invention relates to an automatic machine for transporting an item picked by an operator to a designated place, an automatic machine for automatically transporting a pallet loaded with an article to a designated place, and the like for solving the above problems. It is an object of the present invention to provide a warehouse management system for improving work efficiency while efficiently using

Heretofore, a method has been employed in which the worker issues an operation instruction such as warehousing process, delivery process, inspection process, etc., and the worker utilizes the automatic machine by his own judgment. Also, the automatic machine was assigned work to complete the work with only the automatic machine.
However, in the former case, when the worker uses the automatic machine by its own judgment, for example, when the warehousing process and the delivery process are concentrated, traffic may occur in the movement of the automatic machine. In the latter case, the advantages of the automatic machine can not be fully utilized and the effective use of the automatic machine can not be achieved.
In the present invention, the cooperative control system controls the worker and the automatic machine separately. Then, the automatic machine is moved so as to support the worker's work at an optimal timing without applying the load of the automatic machine control to the worker. Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail for each example.

A description of the flow chart of FIG. 4 (b) will now be given. As described above, the

In the example of FIG. 10A, the automatic machine arrives at the work place and stands by before the worker starts the work. The movement route and movement destination of the automatic machine are set as shown by the automatic machine control data 44 (FIG. 7), and are set to arrive before the scheduled start time of the work and transmitted to the automatic machine. The automatic machine stops at a position close to the worker's work place by autonomous control and waits for the worker's work start.

FIG. 10B is an example of processing for sequentially loading articles picked up by a plurality of workers and carrying them to a designated destination. When a plurality of workers manually pick up a plurality of articles loaded on the same truck, one automatic machine can sequentially receive and move a plurality of articles.
In FIG. 10C, when an item picked up by the worker can not be loaded by one automatic machine, another automatic machine arrives at the work place at an appropriate timing. Have the additional items carried by the other automatic machine. Since each of the two automatic machines is independently controlled, the operator can continue the pickup operation without being aware of the transportation.
As described above, in the present invention, the automatic machine is controlled independently and independently of the work of the worker. Conventionally, the automatic machine has been moved according to the operator's request or instruction. However, automatic machine control as shown in FIG. 10 (b) or (c) is difficult. Also, if the worker is aware of control of the automatic machine, efficient operation of the automatic machine can not be achieved. On the other hand, if automatic machines are controlled independently and uniformly, control as shown in FIG. 10 (b) is extremely difficult.
Therefore, the
The delivery vehicle which has carried the goods and finished the goods receipt processing may now leave with loading another goods. In this case, too, the waiting time at the warehouse entrance of the delivery vehicle should be minimized. The allocation optimization means 32 analyzes the
Although the worker and the automatic machine are independently controlled as shown in FIG. 10, the automatic machine is controlled so that the work of the worker can be performed with maximum efficiency. That is, as shown in FIG. 10 (a), the automatic machine has a
At this time, if it is necessary to adjust the traffic congestion, the
FIG. 11 is an explanatory view showing an example of an automatic machine movement route of the warehouse.
L1 to L28 indicate shelves (inventory locations) for storing articles. A1 to A4 are storage areas for receiving storage articles, and X1 to X4 are delivery areas for accumulating delivery articles. Arrows in the figure indicate the moving direction of the automatic machine, and M1, M2, and M3 indicate moving paths of the automatic machine when moving an article from the storage area to the storage rack. Further, N1, N2, N3 are moving paths of the automatic machine when moving from the storage rack to the delivery area.
As can be seen in this figure, the moving path of the automatic machine is a mixture of a one-way part and a two-way part. There are also wide and narrow passages. Although the storage area and the delivery area are separately provided in the example of the figure, new articles are often loaded instead of being received on the truck after the articles are received, and the storage area and the delivery area may be adjacent to each other. All of these are included in the conditions to select the travel path and time of the automatic machine.
When a movement route 78 (a movement source, a movement destination and a traveling route) and an activation start time are designated to a certain automatic machine, the automatic machine moves by autonomous control. Therefore, for example, when congestion occurs on a designated route, the efficiency of warehouse management as a whole decreases. Therefore, the allocation optimization means 32 refers to the automatic control schedule data and the automatic
Thus, the occurrence of traffic congestion is predicted. If traffic congestion occurs, there is a risk that the schedule for all work will be upset. This coordination function can be added to the existing WCS. The
