Abstract
Description
The present invention comprises a vehicle in which a tow vehicle and a towed vehicle are separable, a video display device is mounted on the towed vehicle, and a plurality of videos for transmitting a video signal to the towed vehicle to the video display device. The present invention relates to an in-vehicle camera device for a vehicle having a transmission line on which a camera is mounted and detachably connects the video display device and the video camera.
When a monitor as an image display device is attached to the cab of a tractor (also referred to as a trailer head) as a tow vehicle and a plurality of video cameras are attached to a semi-trailer as a tow vehicle, conventionally, the monitor and the video Each camera had to be connected by a separate transmission line.
As described above, since the monitor and the video camera are conventionally connected by individual transmission lines, when separating the tractor and the semi-trailer, each transmission line between the monitor and the video camera is individually separated, Further, when connecting the tractor and another semi-trailer, it is necessary to individually connect the transmission lines between the monitor and the video camera.
Further, conventionally, a control box is provided on the tractor side, and it is necessary to connect each transmission line of each video camera to the control box, which is troublesome.
The work of disconnecting or connecting a plurality of transmission lines is troublesome, and in some cases, there is a possibility that the transmission lines between the monitor and the video camera to be originally connected are erroneously connected.
For example, if the transmission line of the video camera attached to the left and right sides of the semi-trailer is accidentally connected, the left and right images of the semi-trailer are displayed in reverse on the monitor, and the driver accidentally operates the steering wheel. May occur.
The above-mentioned Patent Document 1 is a rear monitoring device provided in a tractor / trailer type truck including a tractor provided with a driver's cab and a trailer connected to or separated from the rear part of the tractor. A video camera attached to the rear and projecting the back of the trailer; a transmission unit built in or near the video camera; for transmitting a video signal from the video camera wirelessly; and in a cab of the tractor A monitor that displays a rear image of the trailer by a video signal from the transmission unit, and the video camera and the transmission unit that are built in or near the video camera at the rear of the trailer And a battery installed near the battery at the rear of the trailer. It is, a dedicated generator to charge to the battery, and the track runs are rear monitoring device tracks and a generator according to a wind or vibrations caused by the is disclosed.
However, in the prior art described in Patent Document 1 described above, only one video camera that reflects the back of the trailer is mounted, and the video camera and the monitor are connected wirelessly.
If a plurality of video cameras are mounted on the trailer, the frequency must be changed for each video camera in order to transmit the video signal to the monitor wirelessly, which complicates the entire apparatus and increases the cost.
The present invention reliably attaches and detaches the transmission lines of the video display device and the plurality of video cameras by simply attaching and detaching a single connector when the video display device and the transmission lines of the plurality of video cameras are detachably connected. It is something to be done.
(1) The present invention is an in-vehicle camera device comprising a video display device provided in a tow vehicle and a video camera mounted on a towed vehicle to be separated from the tow vehicle.

(5) It is desirable that the lens of the video camera mounted on the lower front part of the left and right side portions of the towed vehicle is directed toward the rear wheel of the towed vehicle.
Thus, when the lens of the video camera mounted on the lower front part of the left and right sides of the towed vehicle is oriented in the direction of the rear wheel of the towed vehicle, foreign matter or the like is present on the rear wheel. It is possible to reliably determine whether there is a risk of being involved.
(6) It is preferable that a video camera with a lens pointing forward with respect to the traveling direction is also attached to the front portion of the tow vehicle, and the video camera is connected to the video display device by a transmission line.
Thus, when a video camera with the lens pointing forward with respect to the traveling direction is also attached to the front part of the towing vehicle, the front video is also recorded by connecting to the video recording device. If an accident occurs, you can check the condition afterwards.
(7) It is preferable that a video camera whose lens is directed rearward with respect to the traveling direction is also attached to the rear part of the towing vehicle, and the video camera is connected to the video display device by a transmission line.
Thus, if the video camera with the lens pointing backward with respect to the traveling direction is also attached to the rear part of the tow vehicle, the state of the load on the tow vehicle can be confirmed, or the tow vehicle alone The driver can check the rear image even when driving on the road.
Moreover, the state of the whole towed vehicle can also be confirmed.

Therefore, when exchanging the tow vehicle and the towed vehicle, the operator only has to attach and detach the one connector, and the working time is shortened.
In addition, since there is no need to connect transmission lines of a plurality of video cameras, connection errors do not occur.
