手段1の遊技機では、駆動源の駆動により第1ギヤが作動すると、当該第1ギヤの第1歯部と噛合する第2歯部を有する第2ギヤが作動し、当該第2ギヤの作動により動作部材が動作して、可動演出が行われる。そして、第1歯部および第2歯部の噛合に際して、第1ギヤおよび第2ギヤが互いに離れるのを防止し得るものとしている。このため、第1ギヤが作動するときには、第1歯部(第1ギヤ)と第2歯部(第2ギヤ)がしっかりと噛合する状態とすることが可能となる。これにより、動作部材の動作不良を招くことなく、当該動作部材の動作を円滑に行うことが可能となり、延いては、質の高い可動演出を実現して演出効果を高めることが可能となる。
(2)手段2の遊技機は、上記手段1の遊技機において、
所定の第1位置と第2位置との間を移動可能な可動部材を備え、
前記可動部材は、前記第2ギヤおよび前記動作部材を含んで構成されるものであり、

手段2の遊技機では、第1位置と第2位置との間を移動可能な可動部材を備え、当該可動部材が、第2ギヤおよび動作部材を含むものとなっている。そして、可動部材が第1位置にあるときには、第1ギヤおよび第2ギヤが離れて第1歯部および第2歯部が噛合しないことから、動作部材が動作することはなく、動作部材の動作による可動演出は行われない。一方、可動部材が第2位置にあるときには、第1ギヤおよび第2ギヤが近接して第1歯部および第2歯部が噛合するので、このときに駆動源の駆動により第1ギヤが作動すると、これに伴って第2ギヤが作動し、当該第2ギヤの作動により動作部材が動作する。このため、可動部材が第2位置にあるときには、動作部材の動作による可動演出が実行可能となる。ここで、前述のように、第1歯部および第2歯部の噛合に際し、第1ギヤおよび第2ギヤが互いに離れるのを防止可能とするところ、可動部材が第2位置にあるときに可動部材の第1位置側への移動を防止することで、第1ギヤと第2ギヤが離れないものとなるため、当該状況下での第1歯部および第2歯部の噛合に際し、第1ギヤおよび第2ギヤが互いに離れるのを防止することが可能となる。これにより、第2位置にある可動部材が第1位置側へ移動すること(位置ズレ)を防止しつつ、第1ギヤおよび第2ギヤが互いに離れるのを防止することが可能となり、質の高い可動演出が効率的に得られるものとなる。
(3)手段3の遊技機は、上記手段2の遊技機において、
