Claims (16)
- 製紙プロセスに有効量の添加剤を添加することを含む、製紙プロセスにおける保持、排水、及び形成特性を増大する方法であって、前記添加剤は、ボロン酸部分を有するポリマーを含有するアクリルアミドを含み、前記ポリマーは、マイクロポリマーである、方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、非イオン性、陽イオン性、陰イオン性、両性、双性イオン性または会合性である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、ポリアクリルアミドと、3−(アクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、2−(アクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、4−(アクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、3−(メタクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、2−(メタクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、4−(メタクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、2−ビニルフェニルボロン酸、3−ビニルフェニルボロン酸、4−ビニルフェニルボロン酸、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択されるメンバーとを反応させることにより調製される、請求項1または2のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、(メタ)アクリル酸、(メタ)アクリル酸の塩、2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸(AMPS)、AMPSの塩、2−(アクリロイルオキシ)N,N,N−トリメチルエタンアミニウム(DMAEA.MCQ)、塩化ジアリルジメチルアンモニウム(DADMAC)、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択されるモノマーをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤は、ラテックス形態で、水溶液として、または乾燥粉末形態で添加される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤は、天然に存在する炭水化物、凝集剤、有機微粒子、アクリルアミドと塩化ジアリルジメチルアンモニウムとのコポリマー、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレートとアクリルアミドとのコポリマー、(メタ)アクリル酸とアクリルアミドとのコポリマー、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレートとアクリルアミドとのコポリマー、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート−塩化メチル第四級塩とアクリルアミドとのコポリマー、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレートと、アクリルアミドと、(メタ)アクリル酸とのターポリマー、アクリル酸のホモポリマー、アクリル酸のコポリマー、メタクリルアミド2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホネートと(メタ)アクリルアミドとのコポリマー、ポリエチレンオキシド、ポリアクリルアミド、凝固剤、ポリアルキレンポリアミン、ミョウバン、ポリ塩化アルミニウム、ポリアルミニウムシリケートサルフェイト、光沢剤、染料、顔料、充填剤、抗菌剤、消泡剤、pH制御剤、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される添加化学物質の前、後、及び/またはそれと共に添加される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤は、パルプ化段階、漂白段階、ストック調製段階、湿潤最終段階、乾燥最終段階、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせの間に添加される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤は、ストックに添加される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記有効量は、約0.05lb/トンの紙〜約10lbトンの紙である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤は、非接触アプリケータ、化学的注入ポンプ、スプレーバー、カーテンアプリケータ、スライスブレード、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択されるメンバーを用いて添加される、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記マイクロポリマーは、3−(アクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、2−(アクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、4−(アクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、3−(メタクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、2−(メタクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、4−(メタクリルアミド)フェニルボロン酸、2−ビニルフェニルボロン酸、3−ビニルフェニルボロン酸、及び4−ビニルフェニルボロン酸から選択される1つ以上のモノマーを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、アクリル酸をさらに含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤は、ビニルアミンポリマーを含まない、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、1,000,000Da超の重量平均分子量を有する、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、ボロン酸部分を含む約0.001〜約20モル%のモノマーを含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 製紙プロセスに有効量の添加剤を添加することを含む、製紙プロセスにおける保持、排水、及び形成特性を増大するための前記添加剤の使用であって、前記添加剤は、ボロン酸部分を有するポリマーを含有するアクリルアミドを含む、使用。
