Description
Claims (20)
- 液体から汚染物を除去する分離器であって、
回転軸を中心に回転するように設けられたチャンバー、
チャンバーに液体が入る入口、および
チャンバーから液体が出る出口を含み、
前記入口は回転軸から出口より大きい半径位置にあり、
チャンバーに入った液体流れがチャンバーを回転させるように配列され、一定厚さの汚染物スラッジがチャンバーの内壁に蓄積されることを特徴とする分離器。 - チャンバーの回転速度を検知する回転速度センサをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の分離器。
- チャンバーの回転速度が所定の臨界速度下にあると決定されれば警報信号を出す警報信号発生器をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の分離器。
- 前記臨界速度が内壁に蓄積されるスラッジの所定厚さを示すことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の分離器。
- チャンバーの内壁が円筒形であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記入口がチャンバーの複数のチャネルを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記チャンバーは複数の駆動面を含み、該駆動面は流入液体に当たった時に回転モーメントを引き起こしてチャンバーを回転させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 各々の駆動面が、上方から見た時、曲線型であるか、または勾配が変化するか、または種々の直径を有する形状を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の分離器。
- 前記駆動面は全体や一部が螺旋状であることを特徴とする、請求項7または8に記載の分離器。
- 前記駆動面が円周方向を沿ってほぼ等間隔に配列されることを特徴とする、請求項7〜9のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記駆動面がチャンバーの底面や下部区域に配列されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の分離器。
- 前記駆動面の各々が一つ以上の入口チャネルと整列または連結されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の分離器。
- 前記駆動面がチャンバーの回転軸から放射状に離隔していることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の分離器。
- 前記チャンバーの入口はチャンバーが回転可能に設けられたスピンドル内の道管に連結され、流入する液体は前記道管と入口を通してチャンバーに入ることを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記出口は分離器の出口と通じる出口オリフィスを含み、前記入口は分離器の入口と通じる入口オリフィスを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記出口が排出液体に当たるように配置されてチャンバーに回転力を提供する複数の排出駆動面と通じることを特徴とする、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記排出駆動面がチャンバー上に位置した経路に提供されることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の分離器。
- チャンバーに回転力を供給するように配列された複数のベーンをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- チャンバーから分離器の出口までの液体流動経路に位置する液体通過要素をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載の分離器。
- 前記液体通過要素が時間の経過に伴って徐々に塞がって液体を通過させる面積が減少することを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の分離器。
